They have no respect for customer, they let my family waiting a table for 1.30 hours. after that it took 35mins to have a drink, they dont even had 1 restaurant available for dinner in all the vacations.
I read these reviews daily before leaving and after having stayed here, it is hard to believe there would be anything bad to say! Things I loved: - The beach was the most beautiful I have seen. I came to Punta Cana for the beach and was not disappointed! Nice waves that kids love to play in, gets deep quickly so you can actually swim and shallow area for little kids. Perfection! - Water park! Kids loved this, no lines, slides big enough that the 14 year old was very entertained and there were also little kids slides. - Amazing shows. We did not come for this, but we enjoyed these immensely! Especially the acrobatic team, what an entertaining show! What talent! - Beautiful grounds, pools, communal areas, kept pristinely clean. - Polite, mask-wearing, plentiful staff. - Quick response to calls for assistance (water, my daughter locked herself in the closet)! - So many options for things to do! We enjoyed the zumba class, pool volleyball, ping pong, tennis, nightly shows and several excursions. We did Saona Island, pirates trip and mountain biking and loved them all and were glad we did all three as they were quite different! - Food options were great! The a la carte restaurants were nice, but the buffet was also good enough that a la carte wouldn't be necessary. They changed it up nightly, with one night with crab legs and plenty of other options to please anyone! -Our room was clean, luxurious, and spacious with a nice balcony. Daily room cleaning was excellent! This location is truly paradise! I've always said I would never go to the same place twice, but I kept imaging when we could come back with our friends and family and what a beautiful, fun, safe, clean and entertaining trip we would have! Only downsides: -Check-in took a while due to technical issues. Staff were patient and hard-working. This may be an ongoing issue based on previous reviews and the fact that everyone from one flight arrives at the same time! - We weren't able to locate a basketball (this is my kids' favorite activity), despite my boys being sent back and forth by multiple staff members. We kind of gave up and I'm sure I could have solved the problem if I was motivated enough to get involved. Upside: I felt confident to let them roam the grounds and they loved the independence. Overall, the best trip our family has ever had!!! Thank you!…
Sorry my first day was pleasant then all turned into crap. The hotel got too crowded and no covid measures followed no masks and people on top of one another. Beach was full so where the pools. Very disappointed to find out that locals have a curfew so they’re flocked to resorts which is fine, but bc of this many are rude. My mom is on a walker and after waiting for a trolley they pushed us out of the way to get on. I was disgusted and left early.
The hotel is very nice the rooms are clean, aside of the roach but it’s the Caribbean and it’s normal. However I arrived on a Friday and it was great. Saturday rolled around and I was done. Too many people, no social distancing no masks. The restaurant, pools and beach were filled to capacity. Nothing felt safe. Then a local explained that since the Dominican Republic has a curfew locals are flocking to the resorts to party. It’s very loud to the point of being obnoxious. No one listened to the staff. My mini vacay was shortened by the debacle. Never again. I have covid antibodies and I felt the crowd and lack of distance killed my antibodies. Please don’t go for your sake. It was a s show.
Had a nice new yrs getaway. The staff is what makes this a nice resort. Lines are kind of long and the buffet doesn't have much organization as one would think but overall had a nice time. The buffet needs to add spoons to their napkins so we are not looking for someone to assists every time we want soup or ice cream. Alexis at the lobby bar was so nice even made up his own shot for us to take. The lady at the arcade I forgot her name but her picture is attached was so sweet and you could tell she loved her job and talking to people and making their stay even better.
