Checked into on Feb 26 for 4 adults, 5 nights, for Adult Section at Punta Cana Resorts. Noticed upon checking in that resort mostly emply but they strongly sold the Level, a addon for 250/room. Our room very nice, with partial ocean view, clean, and tastefully decorated. Went to the Capri Restaurant last night for leg of lamb dinner. Place was mostly empty, with only 6-8 tables being used. Manager asked if we had reservation, which we did not. We asked to make reservation for immediate service which they did. After wait 10 minutes we were told we were not entitled to eat at restaurant and would not be served at empty restaurant. We checked with from desk and the internet advertisement, and we were entitled to eat at both of the 2 open restaurants. It felt like they were trying to push us to eat at the cafeteria. Only 2 bars open, outside of poolside bars. My friend stayed a the RUI resort, just down the beach, and all restaurants and bars open. I believe the internet sales pitch is a little overly optimistic. I would recommend to look at a more fully functioning resort. Charlie R Room 1603…
Me and a group of friends decided to celebrate a birthday in Punta Cana & definitely are so happy we chose this resort! We were hesitant because of the circumstances but it was one of the best trips we’ve ever had! The resort is huge and beautiful great place to relax and have fun at the same time! Also the staff is very friendly especially Johan he helped us with everything & went above and beyond for us!
My overall stay was amazing. I can't wait to go back. It was worth it. I was initially assigned an unclean room and was upgraded immediately to a masters suite by the beach. My grieves and I had a great rapport with hotel staff. It was memorable.
We just came back from this magnific resort and are beyond thankful with the service and kindness from everyone at the resort. The place is amazing. Rooms are impecable. Food delicious. Employees, the kindest. Will go back time and time again. Sandro, our concierge, the greatest guy. Always helpful and thoughtful about our needs. Thank you Sandro! You helped made our stay a forever memory. ❤️
Outstanding resort, with top-notch service. One of the most beautiful beaches we've seen. The sounds were beautiful and the spa was great and very relaxing. The Premium Beach-Front rooms are excellent...next to the beach, pool and The Rumba/Cape Nao restaurants. Buffet breakfast and lunches at Rumba, then excellent dining at night at Cape Nao, which features a different cuisine every night. Very good food at Cape Nao. If you dine there, ask for Jhonathan. He's is wonderful, personable and knows the menus...his suggestions never steered us wrong. He provided top-notch service every night for us. Our concierge was Pressely---excellent. Our main contact/butler was Alvaro, who went above and beyond virtually every day to make our 10-day stay tremendous. He was the best! And the entire staff at the wellness center (poolside) was great at handling all of our reservation and other questions/needs. We'd especially like to commend Heren. She was tremendous. Cart/shuttle service throughout the resort if needed. The entire resort staff was courteous, friendly and very attentive. The resort is very "Covid compliant" and sanitary with free Covid tests needed to return to the states! We highly recommend Melia Punta Cana Beach Resort, and hope to return soon.…
