Just visited from April 3 till April 10. Had an awesome time!! The room was awesome the housekeeping kept us stocked just give them a couple dollars and they take care of you like you would never believe. The safety measures were awesome the staff was incredible. Had the right amount of entertainment at the pool it was very fun!! The restaurants we’re great and the view for lunch was amazing!! I also asked for room service which was not included and do to the gout I suffered they brought me food to the room. If you needed anything they would always accommodate you. They did an amazing job during these times of Covid making our trip so enjoyable. I highly recommend this resort. Somethings maybe shut down that is out of the control but they did the best they could to make our trip very memorable. We’ve been here a couple times and every time we go they just try to do the best they can for you you will not be left down!!!

I traveled to Punta Cana for my sons wedding. I have never visited the DR, and after this experience probably never will again. The wedding party who booked in the " block of rooms" were supposed to be placed in the same area, and we were supposed to all have the same " exclusivity" ...as we paid the same rate. I was given a lesser bracelet which did not allow me to take my grandchildren to the same pool area as those who received the VIP level bracelets. The hotel refused to fix this issue and so some of us could not go to the same places as others. I was put in a ground floor room, which was musty and damp...all my clothes that I hung in the closets or put in drawers stunk like an old basement ... the shower water ran all over the floor and right out into the hallway if I did not put towels down to catch the run. My A/C and ceiling fan did work...however the room was so dark ( 10 watt light bulbs) it was like a dungeon at night. The bedding was horrible too, just white sheets on the bed, NO BEDSPREAD or QUILT, just a nasty, scratchy thin blanket in the musty basement closet...I asked for another one, it was not better. Scratchy and old... The day of the wedding we were not picked up and driven to the beach area ( the ride NEVER showed up) so we walked over. Nothing was ready even though we were all late. There were people on the beach, walking by or gawking, taking pics too. Ridiculous. I would rate the food overall a 3 out of 5, lots of food but all buffet lines ,most overcooked. The best for me was the omelet guy for breakfast. The staff were never in a hurry to get you drinks or coffee in the a.m. They would stand around and BS with each other, had to wave them down most times. The rum tasted like burnt sugar...and the wine was awful. I stuck to the local beer for the most part... I would say that the staff was not "unfriendly" but there seemed to be an inability to understand English quite frequently. If you're planning a destination wedding, don't go here. Our experience was very bad, and basically they have your money already and you get what you get... what a letdown after months and months of excitement and anticipation! I want a refund...

This resort was fantastic. The food was amazing, the rooms were clean and well maintained. The covid protocols were really good and I felt safe. The entertainment on the resort was amazing. Shakiro (julio) and the animation team went above and beyond. Shakiro made sure we were taken care of and had a good time. We hope to see you again when we return. We recommend this resort and also we recommend shakiro (julio) to anyone who wants to have a good time. Awesome job animation team!

This was the worst vacation we have ever had. Not only was the hotel manager (Lucas) a nightmare, the whole staff to include the wedding planner (Estephanie) were clueless and had no idea what was going on. We booked a hotel that wasnt the one we ended up at. Our contract was for all of our family and friends to be together during the wedding and enjoy the same activities. The hotel was supposed to have kid areas and water parks but it was closed. So the one that was open wasnt open to all of our guest like it was supposed to be. All of our guest were supposed to be in the same building, instead they were scattered all across the resort. We paid for this on our contract and this was brought up to Lucas and he denied us and told us that it wasnt part of it but wouldnt sit there for us to show him he was wrong. Estephanie saw the contract after Lucas left. On our wedding day, according to the timeline which i took a picture of from Estephanies folder, our wedding was supposed to be "seculuded" and set up by 330pm for a 4pm wedding. We were supposed to be picked up in front of the rooms. None of this happened. We ended up walking down to the wedding area to find the entire area was filled with people and beach goers. The wedding wasnt set up at all. No one was even there setting up chairs or anything. We have timed photos to prove this. The beach was supposed to be cleaned up and there was garbage and seaweed all around. There are random people in our pictures now. The newly wed breakfast (which we have pictures of) was just bread and fruit. There were supposed to be eggs and yogurts and all sorts of stuff but none of it was there. When this was brought up to Lucas, he was the most unhelpful person in the whole place. The other employees just pretend they dont know what youre saying and pass you off to someone else. This place was absolutely horrible and ridiculous We did the Dolphin experience. We were told it was a straight shot there 15 minutes and 2 hours with the dolphins and then come back. We had a reservation the day prior but it was canceled so we wanted to make sure that we would be back by 230 to take our covid tests. We were promised no problem at all. It took over a hour and 20 minutes to get there. When we got there, it was 20 minutes with the dophins and then the bus wasnt coming back till 230. So we ended up having to get an Uber and taking that back to the resort. The covid test is a full on joke. There is no reason they are even testing considering the "nurse" didnt even put the swab in my nose. There was little no touching to it at all for the test. Everyone we were with said the same thing. They are not actually testing anyone. When were werefinally leaving, they were having "computer problems" for the check out. They had us there for almost an hour. Our car was supposed to be there for us to get in at 8 but didnt show up till 830. Then the bell boy was trying to tell us we werent allowed to leave. This place is a joke. We are running all of our cards for charge backs. These clowns didnt provide anything in our contract on timely manners or anything. they charged us so much for the wedding and basically ruined it all. Go else where. And for all the drinkers that are excited for all the included booze.... its watered down. No one in the whole party caught a buzz until we started paying for drinks

Traveled for my daughter's wedding. We were supposed to be at Bavaro but it was "closed" so we were put in Punta Cana. We were also supposed to ALL receive bracelets that let us use the entire resort (all areas of BP) but only my daughter the bride, my youngest daughter and myself received the bracelets. The rest of the wedding party was SOL. My youngest and I were supposed to have two beds - NOPE. All the rooms are the same, one king bed and a small sofa they make up as a bed. Our room had broken light bulbs (bulbs that cannot be unscrewed - they literally hung from the fixture) that sizzled if you turned them off and the outside light was hanging by the wires. We are also fairly certain our room had bed bugs as my daughter received numerous bites in threes while we were there. Staff were RUDE. Several of the tram operators either refused to take us or made us wait for someone who spoke spanish to get on. One operator got off the tram and walked away. Bartenders were just as bad. They would either not help or would take another guest who walked up later before serving us. Same thing happened at guest services, but another American yelled at them and made them help us. They didn't have my daughter's wedding set up either on time. Every wedding is at 4:00 PM. They didn't start setting it up until 3:58PM and never sent a tram to pick up the wedding party. They closed the playground our second day there, so my daughter's children had nowhere to run off their energy in the evening. The only redeeming quality the resort had was the spa and Franklin at reception. The spa was excellent and the service there was quite good. Otherwise, just avoid this resort. Go somewhere where you will get good service overall. This resort is outdated, rude, and a total let down.
