My new wife and I stayed here for our honeymoon. We had Miguel as our butler, and he was amazing! Responded to our texts before and after hours when he was supposed to be off. Scheduled all Our reservations, massages etc. We couldn’t have had a better experience and the best butler!! Thank you Miguel for everything!!
My husband and I stayed at Secrets Cap Cana in December and returned with two other couples in March. It was absolutely amazing both times. It is so conveniently located (15-20 min) from airport; however, you feel you are a world away. The beach is very beautiful and you can easily swim in the ocean. The rooms, resort, and pools were also great! The restaurants and food were really, really good for an all-inclusive. We live in a big city and have access to great restaurants. The Italian and French were on-point and delicious, especially for an all-inclusive. Probably the best thing about the resort was the level of service of the entire staff. They are friendly and work very hard to make sure you have a great experience and wonderful vacation. While all the staff were very good, there were some that really went beyond expectations: Eudy: Our favorite waiter at Seaside Grill and the French Restaurant. We requested him whenever we could! So attentive and professional. Omar: Restaurant manager at Seaside Grill and French Restaurant. Doris and Elizabeth: Our poolside go-to waitresses. They were so friendly and fun, and always made sure we had a drink. Wendy: Lobby Concierge. So friendly and helpful. La Diva, El Gato, Cappuccino: Entertainment staff. Fun and amazing people. Loved chatting with them by the pool each day and doing the water aerobics and Zumba classes. Dania and Esther: Our favorites at the cafe for our morning and afternoon coffee. These names stand out, but to be honest, all the employees and staff are really great. I would definitely recommend this resort to anyone! You won't be disappointed.…
Leo Martinez was our concierge and he was absolutely amazing. He met all of our needs and always exceeded our expectations. This resort was phenomenal and we will definitely be back. If y'all come, ask for Leo! You will not regret it! Thank you for an amazing stay!
We just returned from an amazing get away. The resort is absolutely beautiful. The staff are attentive and go above and beyond to cater to guest needs. We loved the little coffee shop beside the main lobby. Our room steward, Leo, made sure our room was stocked with everything we needed and checked in consistently. I hope to return again in the future.
We recently stayed at Secrets Cap Cana for the first time. We have stayed at many different resort brands, and we have stayed at many of the AMResorts throughout Mexico. This was an absolutely stunning resort, well manicured and the beach was incredible. We had phenomenal weather, it rained 2x, both at night. I’m sure it was the time of year (March) but there was a wonderful Breeze everywhere on the resort. Normally, I would not dine outside or I would die from humidity/sweat, but I was comfortable all week. Staff was wonderful, everyone you encountered seemed genuinely happy to see you and they were all SO friendly. We took advantage of the nightly shows (normally we are already in bed after day drinking, ha) but we felt each show was great and worth staying up! After the show, we would head to the main bar and close it down! So while the nightclub was closed due to Covid, it wasn’t a big deal to us. I am a firm believer you can make fun and have a good time anywhere you go, if you choose. Food was fantastic. A few hit or misses with breakfast in my opinion, but lunch and dinner were top notch! There were no snacks provided in the preferred lounge, which is something we missed and were used to from other Secrets resorts, I’m not certain if this was due to Covid or they never have food in preferred lounge. We had a fantastic time and will definitely be returning. PROS: Overall, unbelievable service, staff really did go out of there way to ensure your needs are met! All you have to do is ask. Our butler Miguel, was absolutely wonderful. He went out of his way to help with any of our needs and made my birthday extra special. I also ask Miguel if they had paella on any menu, I still had not seen at any restaurant and this is my husbands favorite! He ask where we were and I told him the beach, 15 mins later a table was set up and paella and fried plantains were delivered! 😍 5 star service all the way!!!!! Love that you can be in the pools and see the ocean Preferred lounge - this is well worth upgrading to preferred in my opinion. Carlos is an absolute mixologist and a true showman! Javier was fantastic and took excellent care of us! CONS: swim up bar was closed, night club was closed (Covid) It seemed difficult to get chairs at preferred side pool unless you were there fairly early. many return guests we spoke with said the service was great this time, but they were missing some of the extras they normally had in the past. I clearly have nothing to compare it to, but we felt the service overall was great and couldn’t imagine it getting much better! I could only assume as they ramp up capacity, they may be a little short on staffing, but we never experienced anything but top notch service everywhere we went.…
