We traveled to Bonaire for our 2nd time the first week in July and had made reservations at another establishment. We have stayed at Buddy Dive in the past but had an opportunity to stay elsewhere with friends in a timeshare condo. When we arrived...More
This was my 5th stay with Buddy's and we enjoyed it like usual...we even looked at other places just to mix it up..but nothing compares to the price for what they offer...we even visited a few locations on the island to get a first hand...More
We actually stayed at Buddy Dive's other location, Caribbean Club Bonaire and we utilized Buddy Dive for all our dive needs. We did our 1st Bonaire dive at Buddy Dive from their dock. The dive crew there was awesome. Specifically Martin (asst manager) and Gwyn...More
Excellent hotel and dive shop. Beautiful shore dives right off the dock. We did not do any boat dives, but instead used the pick-up trucks and only did shore dives around the island. The hotel rooms are very well appointed with refrigerators and microwaves. The...More

I wanted to answer my own question, after spending 8 days there. My studio as perfect for me. There is a little dining table for two in the kitchen, and another table for two outside on the patio. There was a window in the bedroom (I think it was #610?) the kitchen as not unusually tiny, and it had everything I needed to do some cooking and keep some good food ( go to the big Dannish supermarket, well worth the trip and lots of great produce, even organic foods!). They did not provide paper towels in the kitchen though, so I had to use their towels for a spill....
If you feel that you'd like to have a cough to hang out on, then you would need to rent the one or two bedroom units.
I felt very safe, though I did keep my door locked to be careful. Had to rig a small towel in the window of the shower, for a curtain, as I realized that other rooms had windows from which someone could look in to mine, if I showered with the lights on!
I met lots of very friendly people, no trouble finding buddies to dive with.
