1 night stay here, check in was very easy and also booked for evening meal. Room on first floor, good size, little balcony, very clean and smart. Bed was very comfy. Bathroom decor is lovely and all nice and clean. Evening meal downstairs was lovely, very big portions, little walk afterwards around the village, not a huge amount there, couple of nice shops and other places to stay. Breakfast was amazing. Juice, tea, full English, whatever you wanted, toast, cereal, croissants, yogurt, fruit, loads to chose from. Overall the one night here was excellent, cozy, clean and lovely place to stay and eat at.

On the way in is a large sign asking customers to wear a mask when moving around. The only people who complied were my wife and I. No staff wore a mask and when the manager received my complaint and I mentioned over 200 covid deaths last week he said" I shouldn't listen to the news".

Amazing service! Friendly and attentive……. Great atmosphere and great value for money. The food was lovely, and very hot and tasty. The staff were all very pleasant and couldn’t do enough for you. We were staying in the area at another Inn and we really wished that we had booked with them instead. The place was lovely and warm and spotlessly clean. STAFF AT THE POOLEY BRIDGE INN, YOU ARR DOING IT CORRECTLY…… we shall be returning soon Thank you for a great evening.

From the cheery welcome on arrival to the cheery goodbye as we left, this pub ticked all the boxes! The table service only was efficient without being pushy. The choice was food was good and we all enjoyed our starters and mains. The toilets were clean and we all appreciated the change in decor since our last visit. Would definitely recommend.

Popped in for a drink after waking out of the pub across the road (The Crown Inn) after being ignored by staff. Place was vibrant, staff were VERY happy and helpful, food looked great! Had a drink and booked a food table for a few days time ... can't wait 😀
