I stayed one night at the Nest Hotel in Fukuoka. No complaints. I was surprised by how cheap the hotel stay was and it came with all the necessary amenities. The rooms were a bit small but modern and the bed was comfortable. The bathrooms were decent as well. Staff was pleasant and they allowed us to store luggage. I would stay here again.

Firstly i'm little worried to book this hotel without any review, because it's just newly opened in early April. But after check-in then everything better than i expected!

Like the hotel room & lobby green color & wood combination make you feel comfortable. All hotel staffs was nice & no communication problem during check-in.

I stay both single & twin bed room in different period. Single room is more spacious than i expected in Japan room standard, at lease opened flat my 29" luggage is not a problem. All room amenities were well prepared & useful to me. Most important is the bed very comfortable & have a good sleep. Refer to the floor map, i guess most single room window facing next building that mostly happened in Japan hotel, and that's not a problem to me.The twin bed room have a nicer window view compare to single room, but it was little crowded if stay 2 peoples with big luggages. But both room have good sound insulation.

Breakfast not included in room rate & just paid 800yen during launch period. Simple but nice one, especially the local vegetable small dish if you like.

Located in a quite area & around 5-7 mins walk from Hakata station. Even on rainy day, you can take the nearest underground street Exit P4 to Hakata station, but there's no elevator....And there's a 7-11 just 1 min walk & very convenient.

No doubt Nest hotel still my choice for next stay in Fukuoka!!

We had pleasant 6 nights stay at this hotel in the early November. The hotel location is good and the neighborhood is quiet at night. Our room was nearby the elevator for all the duration of our stay but we were never bothered by other guests noise. The only minor noise concern we had was the bell tolls noise from a nearby building. We slept in one day and were awoken by the bell tolls from a church building(?) across from the hotel. The room is small for western standard, but it’s a little more spacious than the ones I stayed in Tokyo and Osaka areas. Overall, all Japan’s hotel rooms are generally on the smaller side. This hotel has the best smelling shampoo and soap we ever came across. I wish the hotel management would sell them to the tourists so we can bring it home as mementos. Check in and check out were hassle free. The hotel also have 2 washing/drying machines downstairs and a drink vending machine for guests. These laundry machines are popular after 7-8 pm so plan your laundry activities wisely. We really like the fact that the hotel appears new, feels clean, organized, and the amenities are modern. It felt as if we walked into brand new IKEA showrooms where everything is space efficient and organized. We will return to this hotel again when we visit Fukuoka in the future.

This is a great little hotel and in a very convenient location in Fukuoka. 5 min walk to Hakata Station and 15 min cab from the airport. Rooms standard small size for Japan but very new and modern facilities, attentive staff and laundry facilities.

The hotel is just a few minutes walk from the JR station and is easy to locate. Room is clean and beds are comfortable. The breakfast is good. I stayed in a triple room and there are 3 beds (not a twin room with an extra bed). It is recommended if you are staying in Hakata.

I stayed there for one night en route to Yufuin , THis hotel was recently remodelled in April 2018 and is refreshed with brighter colours and a more uplifting green theme. It has, like other japanese hotels, very small rooms without enough space to lay a luggage flat on the floor. There is but one very small window and a little claustrophobic but the interior is bright and cheery and clean. The bed is suprirsingly comfortable , as most japanese hotels have rock hard mattresses - they have a good topper to give it that "hug". Pillows are nice but a bita too high for my taste.

The hotel is situatied behind the main street, near the Nikko Hotel, and is just a 3 min walk to Hakata station on the North East side. The airport bus drops you off at Hakata station just at that corner and you just need to cross the street and walk 1 block from there. Lawson and 7-1 nearby but its so close to the station there is no worry about shopping or food.

There are full amenities in the hotel room too, more than what we are used to ( boyd towels too !) . They provide tea and creamer and sugar with a kettle as well. We had a twin room and that should be larger than the double - for a short stayover I think its not an issue but for longer stays I might prefer a slightly bigger room as its really not too easy to move around the room if you have 2 ppl and large luggage.

Whilst there was generally little noise from the corridors we still do hear the upstairs neighbour using their bath rooms and the chatter of guests when they return at night.

For some reason the night we stayed there was a saturday night and prices went up astroniomically - we were paying about 30000+yen for the night and that lmits how much I can mark this place up in terms of value. Nice as it is it is really not worth that kind of money.

All in all, nice place. I will return for stopovers and if the prices are more reasonable.

I like the hotel. It’s very clean and new and it is close to Hakata station. It has a small restaurant for breakfast with a small range of local varieties which are yummy. I surely will return in the future due to the location and price.

Chose this hotel because of the reviews I read from Tripadvisor. And it didn’t disappoint!
Location is perfect - close to malls, restaurants, 7-11 stores, train and bus stations. We were on our second day when we discovered that the temples, shrines, parks were either walking distance or just s ride away. Very convenient. We just took a walk and we were so happy to reach the Canal City while enjoying the busy streets and people walking along the way. The Yatai Food Stalls were just a 12-minute walk from Nest. The Sun Plaza mall - 5 minutes; across the street are the bus and train stations, and the Hakata station stores like Uniqlo, Daiso, etc. Don Quixote - we took the taxi and the meter moved just a bit! Funny.

We had our daily breakfast there and each day was excellent! Though they have the same spread almost every day, we didn’t have any complain. It was just right.

Will definitely recommend this hotel

Keep it up Nest Hotel Fukuoka - Hakata branch.

Definitely to avoid if you need service in English.
Poor value especially weekend rate (about US300) for tiny room (1011) with strong urine smell even after I cleaned toilet and floor with Lysol wipes.
Zero hospitality. On four different nights of staying, we consistently encountered unhelpful and uptight staff mainly because they cannot speak English.
Poorest hotel I stayed in Japan so far.

Small room. Check in was fast. If you want to leave your luggage, you have to ask first if they will allow. As Hakata area is quite small, you can walk to Canal City and the Yatai food stalls. Taxis are accessible if you need to transport your heavy luggages. Fare was Y580.
