There are many hotel options in the area but I chose this one based on its easy access to Hakata Station. Within 5 minutes walk of the station and bus hub (use the overpass walkways and it will save you even more time), this hotel served as a great launching point to explore the surrounding area. The spa area was great but the best part was the free massage chair. If you have spent any time traveling Japan you know that your feet are going to be dying. This massage chair was a godsend and was worth the price of the hotel on its own.

Great hotel with a spa in the basement but it’s a little out-of-the-way. The room was great! It had a little mini fridge and a coffee maker. There are convenient stores nearby in order to buy things that you might need. I only stayed here for one night. But I would recommend!

When we arrived hauling our wheeled luggage behind us, a kindly housekeeping woman took to us the wheelchair accessible elevator (and dedicated public bath elevator) to get from the ground floor to the lobby which is on the second floor. There is an escalator, but it is too narrow to accommodate suitcases. We arrived early and our luggage was held for us until check-in time. Not much English was spoken by our first check-in person, but others on staff, and a Western hotel intern, did speak English. The hotel is in a great location for train arrival and close to station and area restaurants (and shopping). The public baths are quite nice. A Lawson convenience store is connected to the first floor right next to the public bath entrance and there are many restaurants in the area. Two cookies were left daily in our room by housekeeping. An iPad and smartphone were in the room for our use; however, we didn’t need either however. The room was small, cramped and crowded with furniture, including a gigantic arm chair and a very unstable small round table. We rearranged the furniture and put the air humidifier, the hassock, and the neck and foot massagers into the closet. We still couldn’t open both suitcases at the same time. There was no closet and the hanging arrangement for clothing along the wall didn’t work well for our needs. We expected the room to be small from the description when we made the reservation, but the arrangement of the furniture and the size of the pieces made the room impossibly tiny for two people. We checked the hotel floor plan and our twin room appeared to be the largest room in the hotel which we confirmed at check-in. The lobby, on the other hand, is quite spacious with tables and chairs for working on computers. Right near the tables is a free tea machine, and a chargeable coffee machine. A separate room (library?) off the lobby provided another place for quiet conversations. Several small seating areas were scattered throughout the lobby. It seems as if the hotel was trying to make up for the fact that the rooms were cramped by making the public spaces attractive and spacious. For its location, we might consider returning here for a very short stay, but we prefer larger rooms such as those found in other properties we have patronized on previous Hakata visits. The tiny rooms probably would turn out to be a deal breaker for us for subsequent visits here.

Very comfortable and the interior design is excellent! The hot spring is big and the staff are friendly! The lobby is very spacious and it provides free coffee. Super good hotel and I will be back for sure in my next trip.

After visiting many times Japan, most of the time in Ryokan and Onsen, for the fist time, I am utterly disappointed but the poor thing you get for your money. The hotel is not bad in itself, nice location, nice appearance, and service in line with Japanese standard which is one of the best in the world. But do not come here in couple and do not expect Onsen with usual service. Bring your towel and wash towel from your room (not even the small one available in the Onsen) bring your own yukata, or go down fully dressed, expect a room of 9m2 max with a tiny so called queen bed. Do not expect a place to put your suitcase or any belongings. In other word come here alone and for business only.

Close to Hakata Station and convenience store and restaurants onsite. Onsen also appreciated. Rooms have everything, BUT very compact and not suitable for people with big bags and bodies. Beautiful lobby doesn’t match the room standard. English not strong with desk staff either.

Ok for an overnight or weekend stay but not for a long stay, the rooms are compact with the bed against a wall making it hard to get in & out of, no drawers for storage, little hanging space but the shower was excellent. Separate onsen for males and females which is not stated, so we didn't use it.

We loved this hotel well located with easy access to the station. The rooms are not very big for a couple with lots of luggage but it offers comfort: drip coffee, biscuits, tea, toilet accessories, pyjamas, slippers and it is very quite. I could enjoy the Onsen 2 consecutive days: very relaxing after visiting the area. All information are clearly displayed for non-japanese customers. The laundry service is good and affordable. The staff is nice and helpful.

I stayed here for 3 nights. Excellent location near the train and bus stations, and walking distance to key sights. I was on the ladies only floor and the room was very comfortable, though I never did work out how to use the foot massager. I was a bit concerned that it looked straight over the railway tracks but there was very little noise. The onsen was amazing - large and with plunge pool and sauna as well. There is also a comfortable seating area with free beverages at foyer level, ideal if you have checked out but are waiting for a later train.

I had just one night in this hotel. Great location as closed to the HAKATA-FUKUOKA Train Station. Very clean and new style hotel. But, my single room was extremely small, even compared with the standard Japanese room. Also the breakfast was too limited.
