Hotel is perfectly located near the Namba subway which allows you to walk all the way to many stations, Dotombori where there are many eateries and shops. Even in the subway there are plenty of eateries. Hotel is clean and well managed. Hotel front staff are very nice and helpful. Speaks English. Hotel has a space for guests to have their own meals as there are no cafe or dining-in. Bedrooms are very clean and well-equipped. Very good experience. Would stay here again for next visit.

Location of the hotel is good! Walking distance from Namba OCAT Station. JR and subway are nearby too. The room is clean and spacious!!! Wifi connection in the room is good. The hotel staff is friendly. They are able to speak English, Mandarin and Cantonese. We love the hotel lobby as there are tables and chairs for us to sit around to relax. There is a pool table and the children love it! It's a pity after 10pm they are not able to play the pool. The only feedback we want to give is the material of the bedding set is too rough. Overall, is a nice stay for our family. We will definitely stay there again if we visit Osaka!

Hotel is conveniently located within walking distance to Namba Walk Subway and Dotombori shopping and eateries area. Bedrooms are clean and well-maintained with adequate supply of toiletries. Very happy with the Wi-fi connection which you don't get easily in other hotels. Staff are very nice and helpful including the boss. Very nice decor in the reception area - simple colorful art collections placed there. Highly recommended.

Hotel is perfectly located within walking distance to Shinsaibashi, Orange Town and subway station. Lot of good eats just steps away from the hotel. The room is unusually big for Japan standard and it's clean and mordern. There are a variety of hot and cold beverages offered free of charge at the lobby. Don't forget to try the massage chairs. They are lifesavers after a long day of walking and shopping. 5 stars all the way!!!

Stayed here for two nights on a trip to Japan, the hotel is wonderful. The staff go out of their way to help you and speak perfect English. The room was a good size and was well equipped with plenty of plug sockets with USB slots. I would stay here again!

Sorry to use an obscure word, but I mean the hotel is interesting, even a little wacky, with at least one very odd room. We stayed two nights at the start of our Japan trip in a double room in the main building, which didn't appeal - it was exceptionally spartan (hot water took more than 15 minutes to come through), and had only frosted windows so no view at all, Immediately outside was the rather strange street - mainly hotels renting rooms by the hour, but perhaps not as sleazy as a westerner might presume. Location more generally was good - a few minutes away from the amazing atmosphere of Dotonbori, and from one entrance to the immense underground complex of Namba Station (so an easy 45 minutes or so from Kansai Airport). We left luggage with the very helpful staff and

I have traveled to Osaka many times, usually I have no expectation on hotel where I stayed with, mostly the room is small and the location is far away from the station. However Hotel 88 is really out of my expectation, where you'll find a variety of furniture designs, styles, finishes and colors, modern interior decoration with decorative accessories. Lobby’s area is clean, staff is friendly, helpful and easy to communicate with English. Hotel provides a self-service drinks at the lobby offering coffee, tea and corn soup, also a microwave there to heat up your food. The room is big enough to put our four large luggage and we are free to walk around. Bed and pillow is clean and comfortable. Toilet is separated with the shower room, it makes so convenience to a traveler with

This was my first visit to Osaka. Was supposed to stay at another hotel, but chanced upon 88, made the switch and boy I made the right decision. Location - location is great and from the namba station, you are just 5 minutes away from the hotel if you exit at exit 25. The famous dontoburi and Shisaibashi is just 5 minutes away. There is a 7-11 and Lawson within 2 minutes walk. Access- other than midosuji line, with great access to namba station, you are less than an hour from places such as rinku premium outlets, Kyoto and Nara. Rooms - the rooms are huge as a lot of reviews state, but when I went there I was still pleasantly surprised by the size. Beds were huge and there were power sockets in any place you can imagine to charge whatever appliances you need. There is a

I really like this hotel even though I stayed here for only 1 night. For my other nights, I stayed in 4 star hotels but they don't offer the same features as this boutique hotel. I love their spacious room, their self-service drinks lobby offering a microwave to heat up your food as well as their massage chair area! I really enjoy their massage chairs. PRC reception staff are really friendly and helpful! 😃

What a stayed in this hotel, i am losing word to describe how amazed i am and my family of the experience we had during our stay in this hotel. Though the building might look tiny, the room itself is huge ( huge room size and huge bathroom, we stayed at family room type B and double queen-bed room). From the arrival time and check in process, all were very smooth in this hotel, i need to mention how HELPFUL the staffs are (Christine, Yuka, and Yang in particular were AWESOME to us). Communication is always easy as they all speak English and they have a broad knowledge of the attractions around Osaka. Lastly, what else can i say about this hotel apart from i am really recommending this hotel to everyone who look for a comfortable stay in Osaka. Good service, great
