I cannot say any bad things about this hotel. The staff, the room, the location are just wonderful!!!! If I could rate this hotel I would rate it 100% wonderful!!!! The room is so clean and big. The staff are very accommodating and helpful! They even offered to drop us off in the shin-Osaka station because of our luggages. They are all polite and they all do their responsibilities above and beyond without expecting any in return like tip. Unlike in other countries that we’ve been too, they always ask for tips. Kojo at the front desk is superb! He has been helpful from the very beginning of our check in until we checked out. I would come back at this hotel when we come back to Osaka.

We stayed there for our family vacation. During our staying my daughter went shopping and forgot her new T-shirt at the mall. We seek an assistance at the front desk as I overheard one of the staffs spoke excellent English. Unfortunately, I couldn't remember her name. She explained the situation to her front desk teammates. In the morning the staff at the hotel made a call to the mall.....Finally she got her brand new T-shirt back from the letter the hotel staff wrote for her!.....BIG BIG Thanks to Hotel 88 staffs...well done.

Rooms without charm but very functional and silent apart from the air conditioning. Haven of peace at the end of Dotombori street and its hustle and bustle. No possibility of meals or breakfast but existence of a lounge area at the entrance where drinks are available at will! Very popular space after a day out in the month of August! 고베에서 너무 친절함에 감동받았던 M호텔과는 달리 오사카의 첫 인상을 호텔이 망쳤습니다. 난바역에서 가까워 위치는 좋았으나 호텔 도착하자마자 피곤에 찌든 제게 예약에 조건이 잘못 설정되어있다고 했습니다. 일부러 제가 설정한 적이 없는데 1명으로 되어있더군요. 호텔스의 기본인원은 2명인데. 제가 예약할 당시에는 호텔이 생긴지 얼마 안되어 잘못 등록되었다더라구요. 같은 문제를 다른 사람도 겪어서 이제는 바뀌었다고. 그래서 차액을 저더러 지불하라고 하는겁니다. 그 돈 줄거였으면 처음부터 이 호텔 오지도 않았습니다. 4성급에 더 도톤보리에 가깝고 조식도 주는 호텔도 있었는데 가격차이로 이곳을 택했는데 황당했죠. 일단 냈고 나중에 한국와서 호텔스가 이곳에 전화하니 인원수가 등록 잘못된적이 없다고 말이 바뀌더라구요. 황당. 그리고 체크아웃 시간이 10시입니다. 늦은 시간까지 놀다가 들어와서 아침에 늦게 일어나 한참 씻고있으면 청소하는 분이 옵니다. 나중에 다시 청소해달라고 말씀드렸는데. 청소 상태가 엉망이였어요. 머그컵도 교체 안해주고 단지 어메니티 리필이랑 휴지통만 갈아주었습니다. 덕분에 다시는 오사카에 갈 생각도 들지 않게 되었습니다.

I have been to Osaka many times over these past 5 years with both friends and family and I love exploring the growing food and bar scene there. In fact, I go there almost every 2 or 3 months and this time I decided to stay at this newly opened hotel located very close to the Namba station with a good friend. We have to say that this has to be one of THE BEST hotels that we have stayed in around Osaka since all of our visits. The location is simply perfect-- it's a little bit off the heart of Shinsaibashi so you get a bit of peace, yet, all the young, vibrant bars and shops are located just minutes away by walking. The rooms are so big and comfortable like no other around, especially the BED. The bed is just magical... I even asked if they sold their mattress and could deliver it home (unfortunately, they could not). We would also like to highly commend on their whole reception team. Check-in/ Check-out was very efficient, but what impressed us the most was actually how knowledgeable and approachable each one of them were about Osaka. They introduced us to some new and awesome places that I have never been to even having travelled to Osaka that many times and offered a very tailored experience that I've never really had as a traveler... Normally, hotels around this district aren't nearly as generous with their space, nor their service... so absolutely no complaints. Will be back very soon(at least for the bed)! Arigato!

Few times in my travel experiences around the world have I ever been brought to tears but the kindness of people. This is one of those occasions.
I'll start with a quick review of the hotel: -Boutique style -Clean clean clean! -Ultimate location (near train station and the lively Dotonbori) -Spacious and modern rooms -I especially enjoyed the buckwheat pillows for giving me good sleep
Now - the "more" to this story. I had my passport go missing during my trip. It was an awful feeling as I had a flight planned for the next morning. I was so embarrassed and scared. The staff at the hotel immediately jumped in to help, going above and beyond any level of service I have ever seen. Calls were made to all sorts of places on my behalf to help find my lost items.
Further, a sub-manager from the hotel spent more than a hour with me to walk me to a Police booth to help translate and get a police report filed. Not only did she provide logistical support, but she treated me like a human who was having a pretty bad day. She even helped make sure I could get the consulate and had given me a paper map and instructions to get there. Throughout the process, the two employees did everything imaginable to help and had such deep hearts given my embarrassing situation. I'll spare more details, but I would have never expected such a level of service, it is not something I'll soon forget.
Come for the rooms, stay for the people! This wonderful hotel holds a special place in my heart. The employees at this hotel are among the best in the world.

Fantastic location as it's only 500m away from all the street food, restaurants, bars and shopping area. Location is also easy to find, only 5min walk from Namba train station. Apart from the location, the rooms are also very large, it fitted four people very comfortably. The bed was also HUGE and comfortable! All in all it was a perfect place to stay.

What a stayed in this hotel, i am losing word to describe how amazed i am and my family of the experience we had during our stay in this hotel. Though the building might look tiny, the room itself is huge ( huge room size and huge bathroom, we stayed at family room type B and double queen-bed room).
From the arrival time and check in process, all were very smooth in this hotel, i need to mention how HELPFUL the staffs are (Christine, Yuka, and Yang in particular were AWESOME to us). Communication is always easy as they all speak English and they have a broad knowledge of the attractions around Osaka.
Lastly, what else can i say about this hotel apart from i am really recommending this hotel to everyone who look for a comfortable stay in Osaka.
Good service, great locations, free beverage through out the day, lots of restaurants nearby, friendly staff, big room size are all the reasons to stay in this amazing hotel, keep it up guys (even a 5 star hotel that we stayed in Tokyo previously couldn't match the hospitality here).

Nice new hotel. Spacious and modern chic in design at lobby area. Appreciate the free flow of hot and cold beverages from 8 am to 10 pm. Rooms are spacious and functional. Basic amenities provided. Suggest that perhaps a wall clothes hook could be also placed in toilet cubicle. Otherwise - would recommend this place. Good access to food and other conveniences despite the hotel not having its own cafe or room service.

When you travel to Osaka by a bullet train(Shinkansen), you will get to Shin-Osaka station.
Then you need to;
1. Take a subway for Umeda, Namba, Nakamozu on Midosuji Line. (Platform #1)
2. Get off at Namba station
Once you have arrived at Namba Station, you need to find B4 to go aboveground and just keep walking along the street for 2 blocks.
Then you will see our hotel on that corner.
You can also take Exit 24 with an elevator as well.
