This hotel has just opened in Dec 2019. It’s a very modern hotel but comparing similar standard rooms the rooms at the cross hotel were a lot better. The staff are very welcoming and we were there during the lunar new year weekend when the coronavirus was hitting the headlines so it was nice to see lots of antibacterial hand gel as well as complimentary surgical face masks at check in. We were only here for one night as we had a flight from Osaka the next morning so was convenient to get the train from Osaka-Namba. There is even a direct entrance from the station to the hotel. Breakfast was very nice with lots of fresh offerings. If you stay here you must visit their rooftop bar with great views of the city, there was a really lovely barman from Peru who made us lovely drinks and was very welcoming (sorry! I don’t remember his name)

I stayed here recently and absolutely loved it. I believe I was upgraded to a premium room on the 19th floor (hotel was very empty due to the virus situation) and the room was spacious, immaculately clean and well laid out and had stunning views over Osaka.

The bathroom was Japanese toilet perfection, an excellent shower and a bath with a view out in to the bedroom and thus, out over the city.

Television was a smart TV which allowed me to log on to my Netflix which is very refreshing. Tea and coffee making facilities are provided too.

The bed was very comfy and all the lights can be controlled from the iPad next to the bed. My one complaint about the iPad is that it seems to be the only place where you can switch on the Do Not Disturb sign. Normally there's either a card to hang on the door or a switch by the door. Having the DND on/off on the iPad is a bit confusing as it is hidden in a sub menu so some people may not be able to find it.

Breakfast was decent but due to the virus the buffet had been suspended so it was just direct from the kitchen. They have takeaway cups so that you can get a coffee to go.

The staff spoke good English, were very helpful and polite and did a great job. Lots of hand sanitizer around the place too.

On the ground floor there is a 24 hour family mart attached to the building so late night snacks are catered for.

The bar on the top floor has great views over Osaka but I was surprised to find that there is a cover charge for guests of about ¥1300 which means that the one (small) beer I had ended up costing me about £18! Easily the most expensive beer I've ever bought in any bar in the world, and I live in London! In other words, it's not worth going up there if you just want a drink or two because the cover charge makes it too expensive. Only go if you are planning to stay for a long time. I think they should consider removing the cover charge for guests. Also, it was not mentioned to me that there was a cover charge, it just turned up on the bill. If they decide to continue charging it then they should tell you before you order.

Ignoring the bar, the hotel is excellent, and is very conveniently placed by Namba metro station (exit 12 leads directly to the hotel). You can take a rapid express train from Namba directly to Kansai airport and the Midosuji line is a very useful metro line that will connect you to Shin Osaka (for Shinkansen) and Osaka (for Kobe etc) in the north or Tennoji (Kansai airport) in the south.

I would definitely stay again.

Spent a night at this establishment and this was by far my favorite hotel we have stayed at in Japan to date. The hotel has interesting artwork throughout, the rooms were clean, bathrooms were spacious and tasteful, breakfast buffet had a wide variety of Japanese and Western options and included a beautiful view of the city. The front desk staff, doormen/women, and restaurant staff were courteous and professional. Located right in the mix of Namba with many restaurant options nearby. Would absolutely stay here again.

Stayed a night. Guess they charge a premium for the location which is not vital as there are many hotels in the same area.

Lobby lack of ambiance. Standard room have not character at all.

Why keep people waiting till 3pm when you have plenty of rooms available at 2pm? Taking about service ?

Nice toiletries from Panpuri (Thai brand)and ok bath tub! Bed is comfy. Big room. Just not worth the price !

Conveniently located a few steps away from the main boulevards, hundreds of stores and restaurants are at short walking distance, on top of that the hotel is nice, extremely clean and very careful to safety rules, breakfast includes traditional and international dishes. Last but not least, Shinkansen station is extremely close to the hotel entrance. Definitely approved!

Hotel is located at the center of Namba, which is very convenient. Both the exterior and interior of the hotel are very new and design are very modern. We are staying on the high premium floor with a very decent view of namba area. Drinks in the mini bar are free and refill on a daily basis. Body wash, shampoo and hand cream were all l’occitane brand. However, cleanliness of the room is not very satisfactory, the sofa has flees, I got bitten sitting on the sofa for a while. Pyjamas were sharing area on top of shelf designed for luggage case to be placed, with Covid still being around, I would prefer them to be placed on bed. Finally, dirty towel were accidentally left in the room’s carpet after room cleaning, which surprises me.

We stayed for three nights, in a premium room on the 19th floor, with breakfasts. We were most satisfied with this hotel. It only opened in 2019, based on the facade of the old Osaka Kabuki Theatre, with a modern tower above, but repeating the theatre’s architectural features. It is easily found about 3 minutes walk from the front entrance of Namba Nankai station. There is also a covered route to the hotel’s basement, but it is more easily found the first time from the hotel itself. Our room itself was spacious, with two oversize single beds, a chaise longue, and a comfortable chair. There was a compact, but adequate, work desk, a table, lots of sideboards for the large TV, refrigerator, an air freshener unit, closets and luggage space. There were more than adequate drawers and places to hang coats, etc. The refrigerator was filled with green tea, water, energy drinks and beer, all of them free. The bathroom was large, with the toilet and sink area separated by a glass partition from the shower and soaking tub. There was a full range of cleaning and cosmetic products. A curious feature is that shutters in the bathroom allow one to look out across the room and through the window while bathing. The only things lacking were towel bars for wet towels in the bathroom, and iron and ironing board.
Breakfast was a delightful buffet, with a full range of Japanese and western choices. There were a number of islands of features such as salads, baked goods, sweets and chefs special dishes. Some items changed each day. A popular dish was a single egg benedict on a thin piece of toast.
We would definitely stay here again if coming to Osaka.

The hotel has this nice, modern design and appears to be recently built. The 19th floor room we got was pleasant and clean, althought not that spacious. The bed was also on the hard side, and there were only 2 tiny pillows. There is a convenience store on the 1st floor, which was handy for getting cheap, quick eats at odd hours. It is near Namba Station, and is directly accessible via Exit 12.

This is a very well appointed and extremely clean hotel with every single amenity considered, even a Dyson hairdryer, L’Occitane products and free drinks in the mini bar. The elevator from your floor goes straight down into Namba train station.
The breakfast buffet is exceptional.

Would’ve awarded five stars however we experienced a slight issue; denied entrance to the breakfast on the first morning, directed back to the front desk and asked to pay another $33 for an administrative error that was a miscalculation at check in. I explained that we were quoted what we understood to be the correct amount at check in, paid in full what was quoted, and any additional costs missed were the hotel’s fault. The additional cost was waived after I requested that management review the matter.

To answer my own question, they have an ice room (atleast in our floor). Glad that we brought a thermal water bottle which made Osaka heat more bearable during outdoor walks. They didn’t have microwave

Hi! to be honest I can’t answer correctly but the room I have slept in is quite small and you can’t add a bed in it. My suggestion is to send a message to the generic info address
