It's our first time in Osaka and Cross Hotel didn't disappoint us one bit. It has the best location, in the center of shopping, food street and transportation. Just a minute walk at the back of the hotel is Shinsaibashi shopping street and another minute walk to the famous Glico sign at the Dotonbori food street. Infront of the hotel along Midosuji main road is the biggest Donki building I've ever seen. The hotel itself has spacious rooms, we stayed at a Triple bedroom, has lots of legroom, the bathroom has separate bathtub and shower and toilet. It even has bath salts to for soaking after a tiresome tour at the end of the day. An Espresso machine in our room is another perk of this hotel that I was simply amazed by. The staff were always accomodating to our needs from the reception to the hard working housekeepers. Another plus for Cross hotel is the complimentary drinks and cupcake for every guest. Simply, Cross hotel is the Best of the Best! Love it!

I was stay in Cross Hotel during 22 to 28 December 2019, I was impressive with their service compare to before I stay in the same hotel.
As before, I love their japan style bathroom, after renovation,the room is getting better, you can tell that the design is with passion to meet the guest's need. Staff at reception are professional, specially the concierge tried to help me to book Karen shinsaibashi, the gentlemen (maybe Manager) was very professional,his attitude represents the high quality service of Japan to me.
The Hotel arranged a concert in Lobby during Christmas Eve, it brings warm atmosphere.

This is situated within a minutes walk from the famous Dotonbori bridge and Gelico sign. Around the corner from the shops and restaurants and 5 mins walk from Osaka-Namba station. The hotel is very modern with very comfortable rooms, nice Japanese style bathroom which included lots of additional amenities. We had breakfast included which was lovely they gave us a breakfast smoothie as greeting each morning and the buffet breakfast had a large selection of Japanese and western offerings. The only downside was that their check-in time is very strict but all the hotels we came across were the same so it must be normal around Japan but a bit annoying when you’re very jet lagged. Should I return to Osaka again I would definitely stay here again.

This hotel has a fantastic location, close to Dotonbori and Shinshaibashi, so surrounded by shops and restaurants. It's also a short walk to Namba station if, like us, you are taking the train to the airport at the end of your stay. The room was spacious with comfortable beds and a good bathroom. Oddly there was nowhere to lay a suitcase, so we ended up using the chair and sofa for this purpose. There is a large buffet for breakfast, but in places it seemed oddly laid out so we struggled to find some things, however the staff were very helpful if you asked them. Some of the items on the buffet (and the extras you could order from a card) were an interesting interpretation of what was listed. The first day I went for the pancake with maple syrup. While what arrived was quite palatable it resembled a small sponge cake. My friend declared the scrambled egg inedible and we stuck with what we could see on the buffet thereafter.

Having been used to small and cramped hotels in Japan, Cross Hotel was a pleasant surprise for me and my husband. It was spacious enough for us, it even has two double beds. The view was nice, overlooking the city. The location is perfect and right in the city center where all the action is. It is also very near the MRT stations. The staff were always helpful and knowledgeable when asked for directions or advice on restaurants, even helping us make reservations. We will definitely be back next time we’re in Osaka.

The hotel is situated in a great location, right in the center of food and shopping.
The hotel itself is nice. The breakfast at the hotel is wonderful with lots of delicious choices. The woman at the concierge is extremely helpful with recommending great restaurants. The room was ok, slightly tight for a triple. The bed was a bit too firm for my liking. I enjoyed the bathtub and shower combination.

My husband and I stayed at Cross hotel when we were exploring Osaka. The location is fantastic - less than 5 minutes to Namba station (major train station with many connecting lines), dotomburi (food distriction) and shinsaibashi (shopping street). The room was spacious, especially for Japan, with a huge bath and shower area. The bed was comfy and decoration was tasteful. We were told that there were renovations in the hotel whilst we were there but we didn't find the noise an issue as we were out most of the day. Overall we thought this hotel was great value and we would definitely stay here again.

Stayed at Cross Hotel Osaka for 9 days during our vacation in mid Nov. This hotel is about 10-15 mins walk to Namba station, next to Dotombori and Shinsaibashi shopping area, making it a perfect location. Read some comments that it is noise but staying at 10th floor, facing front road, noise is still acceptable to us. Occasionally, there are a couple of motorbikes ramping their engines at main road that can be clearly heard.
Room is rather a good size that we still can manage to place our big and medium size luggage on floor for packing. We choose king size bed and its comfy enough for a good night sleep. The room also has a humidifier and a bath tub. Considering this is Japan, this is a really plus point. Our only minor negative feedback is the TV is all Japanese channel.
Breakfast was adequate with couple of changes during our stay. There is also a smoking room at ground floor (for 2 pax at a time).
We would recommend this hotel for the location and room size.

It was my birthday trip in Osaka, also my first trip in Osaka. I was greeted by Mr. Tanaka, assistant concierge manager. He gave us a lot of recommendations on food (takoyaki, sukiyaki, teppanyaki) and destinations to visit since me and my girl friend have no ideas where to. Mr. Mizuno, Front office colleagues and Mr. Tanaka wish me a happy birthday trip which makes this trip to become fabulous.
The check-in service was quick and efficient. The recommendations they gave makes me able to explore and try out different kinds of traditional Japanese food. The food was delicious and the places we visited are what we expected. Except the service we experienced in Cross Hotel Osaka was exceptionally brilliant.
I would definitely recommend this hotel to experience the Japanese hospitality. They make my trip remarkable. I would look forward to my next visit to this hotel or other Cross hotel in Japan.

Checking in is smooth even though we're a big group. The hotel room is average size for 2 beds. I love their bathroom. The floor is slip proof and they even have a chair for PWD inside. Their complimentary water bottle container is made of aluminum. The breakfast buffet has a lot of options. They even have a steak for breakfast! Toiletries are located in front of the front desk you just get what you need in there. At night the door at the lobby is closed and only if you have a keycard will open.

From memory, it would be possible but a bit of a squeeze. I would estimate that the bed in our room was 5ft/150cm wide, but can't be sure.
