The area is quiet, the noise insulation is decent, there are many cafes and restaurants nearby. After living here, we discovered the Henn na hotel chain, in terms of price/quality ratio - an excellent option!

Like that the sink, toilet and bathtub were separate...makes sharing easier. The robots at the reception were cute...it's a novelty. Can speak in Japanese, English or Chinese. If we have issues, they will get staff to help us. Checking out was a breeze at the machines provided. Staff was friendly and helpful. Rooms are cleaned everyday and pyjamas were provided too. Location is good too...near shinsaibashi and dotonburi.

Pension very well located to visit Dōtonbori, clean. Dinosaurs at the reception are fun, it’s different as reception,
I booked a room with a robot, the robot is an interesting Attraction but it works very badly, keeps switching off and just dances and sings.
The beds are comfortable, pillow rather uncomfortable but it seems the standard in Japan (with kind of grains inside).
No bottle of water in the room.
Lunch is really the negative. They bring us a cold plate that seems to come straight out of the fridge with eggs and ketchup on it (no way to ask for anything else), half slice of cold bacon, cabbage salad, chicken croquette. Honestly we didn’t eat anything, too bad for wasting food. Please stop putting ketchups on eggs these two things don't go together! lol

We chose the hotel because of its location by Amerikamura and the good price. We stayed there 3 nights. We got free water botles in the room and it was clean and quiet. Check-in and check-out took place on machines, so quite impersonal. The Hollywood Twin room was small and the sink was in the room, while the bathtub and toilet were in separate cubicles.

Great hotel in a central spot in Osaka, close to many sights and restaurants. The shower was hot, the beds comfortable, and the room quiet. We had an optional robot in our room, which was amusing. There is also a convenient coin laundry service on the first floor.
Most importantly, the service was excellent. The staff spent several days helping us with an item we forgot after our stay. I would highly recommend this hotel due to the diligence of its workers. Thank you very much!

I have to say i chose this hotel because of the dinosaurs, the price and the breakfast.
Rooms are small but very efficient. Shower and toilet are separate. Sink is installed in the bedroom.
A comment on the robot dinosaurs at the front desk. They can only facilitate check in and out. For anything else you need to access the small robot on the side to ask about tours and other details. But there are things that only a human can address. Like extra towels and umbrellas. We tried asking for extra pillows but the staff in charge said no. We had our son with us and we had to make do with using the robe as a pillow. I hope they could provide at least four pillows per room. But otherwise the room was excellent. Cleaned daily and amenities (comb, cotton pad and swabs, etc) was provided daily. One note, no bottled water provided for our entire stay. No English channels at all.
A handy phone was in the room that we could take out with unlimited internet for us to use. However we leased a mobile wifi device, so it was redundant. However future guests might appreciate this feature. There is a tablet in the room but we did not use.
Location is right between two midosuji stations. About 10 minutes slow walking away. Since the hotel is located in the middle of the americamura area. Lots of pedestrians walking the street. Which could be problematic if riding a taxi as people normally walk on the center of the street.
Breakfast is plentiful, tasty and very healthy. First time I’ve encountered grilled vegetables daily.
Overall a good place to stay. Many restaurants around the hotel. Staff is kind and is eager to help. Overall very good.
