Check in was very smooth! We arrived late night and we were really exhausted. It was very good that the check in was seamless and quick so that we will be able to go to our room to get some rest! It is also located in a very strategic location whereby the train station is just a few minutes walk away! There's also a 24hrs mart beside the hotel which is god sent! I really love how the room has everything we ask for! I also like how the amenities are just right in front of the reception! We could just grab whatever we need from there and go back to our room! Amenities such as a comb, green tea, coffee and even onion soup!!! I'll definitely come back to stay here when I'm back in Osaka!

Tiny room, friendly staff, good location, convenient even the 7eleven near the hotel. Poor breakfast.... especially for the sweet one... I asked for a cappuccino and they told me to serve myself with cold drinks that were already prepared. Little hospitality. :(

We highly recommended this hotel. This is a hidden gem. The hotel is near a subway entrance. You go down and just walk underground to the subway station. You can avoid the cold weather on the surface roads. Next to the hotel is a 24hrs supermarket and a McDonald's. Nearly there are a lot of local Japanese restaurants. The hotel rooms are simple yet very much functional and very very clean. The sound proof is very good as you don't hear your neighbor nor you may see your neighbors on the same floor. Very quiet at night. The price is very reasonable for a Japanese hotel. Front desk service is very good. You just need to get your own supplies on the shelf as this is self serve.

Hotel is in a great location next to all the main areas and only a couple of minutes walk from the nearest subway. Rooms were clean and well equipment although a little small and my partner who is 6ft 5 struggled using the shower but I know rooms in general are small in Japan. Staff were really friendly and helpful and spoke excellent English and helped us organising some things. Would definitely stay again

Great, affordable hotel in the heart of Osaka. Spent 4 nights here and got a very good deal for it. Staff is very courteous and helpful. Room is relatively bigger compared to other hotels of the same price range. Get the breakfast buffet a day early to get a discount

We chose the hotel because of the location, which in the heart of Shinsaibashi. Very close to Dotonburi and Namba. It is just a walk away from Shinsaibashi stations and very convenient if you love shopping.
We know that hotel rooms in Japan can be very small, and Hearton’s room is no different, it was not a problem for us. The problem for us was the air circulation within the room. We came in January where the temperature was around 7 to 9 degrees celcius. Upon check in we were told that there were only hot air coming from the aircon, so if it gets too hot we should switch it off. On our first night the room gets too hot and stuffy, so we decided to switch off the aircon, but then it without air circulation it was very stuffy, and the windows were locked. So we had to go down to the reception to ask them to open the window for us. Not a very good solution in my opinion.
Nevertheless we enjoyed our trip to Osaka, but will definitely NOT stay at Hearton Hotel if we travel there again.

Typical Japanese business hotel. Very small, firm mattress, and tiny pillows. But clean, comfortable, excellent location for food and nightlife within a 10-minute walk, friendly service, strong and reliable wifi, very quiet. Adjacent cafe is convenient for food and drinks.

Room was little small but not uncomfortable. It was clean. The location was very good. Right in the middle of Shinsaibashi shopping streets. No worry about food and shopping. The subway line is the best line to connect to many good places. The station is Shinsaibashi on Midosuji line. Price of room is also reasonable. Complimentary green tea, but no coffee. Good buffet breakfast.

The location is very good, just the opposite of Daimaru Shisabashi, family mart is just down stairs.
The room is clean, staff are very nice.
A little bit inconveniences is the door key is needed to keep at reception everytime when u go out, it may need to wait for a while to get the key when coming back, but all in all the hotel is nice.
Will stay here again next time.

If you've been on the road a while, chances are you might be looking for a coin operated laundromat to wash your smalls (and bigs). Head straight to the basement of the Hearton Hotel.

The hotel generously makes its washing facilities available to guests of other hotels and for a modest 300¥ you can wash your clothes for 30 minutes and for a further 100¥ you can dry them for 15 minutes - they need to be in the dryer for 30 minutes but still cheap at 200¥.

Washing detergent is dispensed automatically (part of the 300¥ value) but it's not quite enough to get clothes really clean. If you're fussy, maybe sneak in a bit of your own from the nearby convenience stores. Also the dryer gets a bit hot so unless you've lost weight (unlikely with all the noodle and tempura joints in Osaka) and want some smaller clothes, think about what you put in for drying. Check care labels!!

As with everything Japanese, there are instructions - dial 88 on the nearby phone. A hosekeeping lady soon arrives with more instructions on using the washing and drying machines - which are obvious!

You then sit and wait in the cleanest basement imaginable. Kitchen staff on their breaks turn up for a smoke and drink and as they've been slogging it out most of the day, I gave them the whole bench to sit on. Don't make conversation - they're really not interested and won't understand unless you speak to them in Japanese.

Best of all the laundry is open 24 hours for those with jet lag and a pile of washing!
