This hotel was ok, but nothing special. There are few amenities and the restaurant does not have any non-Japanese menus for dinner. However, while the breakfast buffet was small, everything we tried was excellent. The rooms are small and have too much furniture. We had a twin room and could hardly move around with the luggage stand, table, chair, and humidifier all taking up precious space. The bathroom was surprisingly large. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Location is also very convenient.

For our Family Gathering, we visited Fukuoka Japan and stayed at the JR Kyushu Hotel Blossm. This is a nice hotel with room size slightly larger that typical hotel room in Japan. The location is convenient, just across the street of Hakata Station and 5 minutes walk to Canal City. The price is reasonable and we will recommend visitors to try this hotel.

Good hotel, nice location and staff have service mind.
The hotel close to the Hakata station 5 mins and near the hotel have a convenience store and yakiniku restaurant but quite expensive.
The room is not to big and The curtain shower have smell.

If you want a shower outside of a bathtub, it costs more. The breakfast is typically Japanese and does not really accommodate Occidental tastes, Hardly any English spoken. When they could not get a taxi because it was raining cats and dogs, one person at the reception desk actually went out to catch one on the street.

There are two JR Hotel Blossoms the Hakata Station area. Blossom Fukuoka is on the Chikushi exit side of the station (the other one is about 500 metres away on the other side of the station). We stayed for one night after the easy, two-stop subway trip from the Domestic airport terminal. Room was of an adequate size with good facilities , and next door to a Lawson Station convenience store.

Needed a convenient place to stay after travelling all day on the Shinkansen from the Tohoku region. The JR Kyushu Hotel came recommended.
It's only about three to five minutes from the Chikushi Gate Exit of Hakata station - so points already for location and accessibility. I was prepared for something small given that reception was basically a desk and there was a screen nearby but check in was efficient, no problems.
I was pleasantly surprised at the size of the rooms - pretty big for Japanese standards including the bathrooms and well equipped in all areas. The TV remote was a bit complicated (even for me) but you figure it out soon enough.
The area is a few minutes cab ride from the Tenjin area of Hakata which is where most people want to go / dine. If you need breakfast, there is a Lawson convenience store right next to the hotel which is very handy.
I'd happily stay there again and would recommend it to anyone needing to stay a night or two in Fukuoka and coming in by Shinkansen.

Dont expect it is next to JR station. You have to cross two streets from JR station to get to the hotel. And ny experience is it is not easy to find ppl who knew the location of the hotel on the street. It seemed the google map was not accurate too. I was once desperated to try to take a taxi. But luckily the taxi driver refused to drive me there. Then with a few aimlessly walk, I found the hotel was just next to the corner.
The hotel is inexpensive, nice, clean, quiet and spacious by Japan standard.
P.s. Dont try the basement restaurant opposite to the hotel.

I would recommend this hotel if you want
(1) most convenient location
(2) value for money yet decent hotel overall
Hotel is a easy 5 minutes walk from the city subway and the JR line to other part of Kyushu. The main bus terminal is just slightly further away from the subway.
As mentioned in the other reviews, it was easy to find food / groceries around the area. The hotel also provides laundromat for 300 yen with detergent automatically provided.
Though the twin room I stayed in show sign of ageing, it was clean and well maintained. Room size is quite good and no problem stowing away 2 big luggage.

It's really close to the Hakata Staion (Chikushi Exit), only about 5mins walk from the station. So the location is excellent.. When check-in, the stuff was really friendly and nice, less than 10mins the check-in was done and we headed to our Superior Double Room. The room was really big compared to hotels around the Hakata Station, can fit 2 big luggage easily and perfectly. Also the hotel offer 2 free bottles of Aso Spring Water each day, which was really nice, so we took the water bottles with us every day's travel. The package we have do not included breakfast, but don't worry, there is a convenient store Lawson just next to the hotel.
The room interior design is classic-looking but really elegant. Bathroom very spacious as well. There was free Wi-Fi in each room but not get a chance to use it, but heard my partner said really fast!
There are several nice hotels around Hakata Station, but this one suit my needs and the price was not bad too (stayed between 7.AUG-11.AUG 2016). Overall we're satisfied with this hotel and we're sure will stay again next time!

We stayed in this hotel for our last night in Fukuoka after returing from Yufuin. We picked this hotel because of close proximity to Hakata subway station with reference to the room rate (room rate for Sat Night is too high!)
Location: No complaints at all...just 2 mins from the station exit. Convenience store is 10-meter away. Many Cafes and restaurants are located near the hotel.
Room: Good sized room. However, I do believe the bathroom needs some refubishment as it looks so dated.
Service: We was offered an-hour late check-out, so that we could do last minute shopping ^ ^
Overall, a good hotel in the Hakata Station area. However, there are probably better choices in the area for the similar price.
