I always enjoy staying with Super Hotel chain and this one is not disappointed.

It is about 10-15 mins walk from JR Hakata station, which is only two subway stops/5 mins from Fukuoka Airport. Opposite of this hotel, there is 7-11, and Lawson/Familymart is also around.

This is the hotel that promotes LOHAS lifestyle so Eco concept is practice around. Their public bath is actually real spring water thus make it an onsen hotel. Room is Japanese size but clean and comfy. Breakfast is fine too.

Overall, I am happy with my stay here.

I think this is a good service.
It's a service that they put a lot of effort into, and other hotels have the same system.
There are no amenities provided, and you have to take what you need from the first floor.
I thought it was a very convenient and great idea that there are water dispensers for water only on each floor.
It's quite cold, so it comes in handy in the summer.
There is a 7-Eleven on the other side of the intersection, which is easier to find and more convenient than the one next door.
It's always convenient to have a convenience store nearby.
I'm considering this as an option when looking for a hotel.

Hotel was easy to find from the drop off point of the bus. Hassle free check-in . Hotels are keyless as you are assigned passcode which i really like, The double room is about 15sq. tight squeeze for 2 people. But i like that it is very clean and all the lights and air con are controlled by a tablet. They even have a traffic situation monitoring for breakfast and use of the public bath. Hotel also provided the ladies 5 toiletry items everyday which you can choose from. Breakfast was also okay. Miso, curry, sausages, breads and a salad bar. Just wish they serve fruits. But for the price we paid it was very good. Would certainly recommend this hotel.

Stayed for 3 nights in Super Hotel Lohas Hakataeki. Location quite far if you walk from the station, but there’s a bus stop near the hotel, which cost 100 yen each trip to and from the station.

The hotel offered free amenities for ladies which include mask, relaxing foot patch, lotion, facial wash, hair pin, bath foam, bath puff, etc which you can choose everyday. You can also choose your pillow here, around 7-8 kinds of pillow with different hardness. Nice touch.

Super Hotel Lohas Hakataeki has a mini onsen on the 2nd and 3rd floor, there’s also microwave in those floor and a ionized water dispenser in each floor.

Upon check in, they gave us a passcode for the room, which is nice since we didn’t have to carry the hotel card.

Room was quite small for double room, but since they provide an aircon unit in the room, even the lowest fan speed still to windy for us because the small room. Although the fan speed was strong and cool, the duvet was too thick.. not too comfortable for late spring because it became too hot. I wish they change their duvet into thin one when late spring comes.

Bathroom was clean, but too small, we keep on bumping the bathtub.

You can controlled the lamp, aircon, see the onsen and breakfast congestion from the tablet inside the room.

The hotel offered a simple free breakfast from 6.30-8.30. Although it was simple, it was quite delicious.

Overall we did enjoyed our stayed in Super Lohas Hakataeki and hope we can try the twin room in their other hotel in different cities.

Can't praise the hotel enough. We visited Fukuoka at Christmas. Booked a double twin room for three of us and got upgrade to adjoining room. We had enough space for our suitcases and shoppings, 6 year old daughter was especially happy to sleep in the bunk bed.
Nice touch, Japanese standard hospitality in every way. We got to choice our own pillows, pajamas and toiletries. Everything in the room is managed by an iPad which is so smart!! Laundry room is handy. Eco concept is nice.
We actually felt a bit sad having to leave it. Would definitely stay here again next time.

We didn’t know the check out time was 10:00am and the staff knocked on our door at 10:04am, asked us to open the door. We apologized but she then dragged our luggage out, stood there and kept shouting at us while we were hurrying to pack. First time experience of bad attitude in Japan, very disappointed. Do not recommend.

Stayed just one night, was stunned by how much walking needed from the station to the hotel cuz I stayed in other Super hotel branch and it was way closer than this one. When walking with suitcases it seems forever when it was just a 5 minutes walk.
But along the way there was many restaurants, convenice stores and shopping places, so it was quite convenient.

Staffs are very friendly and willing to help. They always have big smiles on their face!

The room itself was big enough for one person, there was a big desk which I found a bit in the way, cuz I could barely open my suitcase and have path to walk around. But very useful to layout all my stuff.

Breakfast is excellent as always. And I don’t know if it’s only in Fukuoka, but they serve mentaiko at breakfast!

+ New and high tech - u can control light and sound, and check congestion with ipad. As breakfast time is upto to 8:30 am only, and very croweded on 8.15 am ish, it is very convenient to check and go before that time.
+ big twin room, comfy bed
+ nice location, quiet and opposite to 7 eleven (though Lawson and Family mart are just one block away)
+ helpful staff

- Breakfast closes early (8:30 am sharp)
- Check in time is 3:00 pm sharp although your rm may be early ready.

The hotel is very new and eco friendly! I love the fact that all the rooms are keyless and everything inside the room are controlled by a tablet. Its a help yourself kinda hotel, once u checked in you can help yourself to all the amenities by the check in counter. And there is an onsen in the hotel! Perfect for a dip before heading for a good night sleep! 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

You can leave your luggages there when check out and they will keep for you till you check in again. Last time I left my luggages in the hotel for 4 days.
