It is about 10-15 mins walk from JR Hakata station, which is only two subway stops/5 mins from Fukuoka Airport. Opposite of this hotel, there is 7-11, and Lawson/Familymart is also around.
This is the hotel that promotes LOHAS lifestyle so Eco concept is practice around. Their public bath is actually real spring water thus make it an onsen hotel. Room is Japanese size but clean and comfy. Breakfast is fine too.
Overall, I am happy with my stay here.
It's a service that they put a lot of effort into, and other hotels have the same system.
There are no amenities provided, and you have to take what you need from the first floor.
I thought it was a very convenient and great idea that there are water dispensers for water only on each floor.
It's quite cold, so it comes in handy in the summer.
There is a 7-Eleven on the other side of the intersection, which is easier to find and more convenient than the one next door.
It's always convenient to have a convenience store nearby.
I'm considering this as an option when looking for a hotel.
The hotel offered free amenities for ladies which include mask, relaxing foot patch, lotion, facial wash, hair pin, bath foam, bath puff, etc which you can choose everyday. You can also choose your pillow here, around 7-8 kinds of pillow with different hardness. Nice touch.
Super Hotel Lohas Hakataeki has a mini onsen on the 2nd and 3rd floor, there’s also microwave in those floor and a ionized water dispenser in each floor.
Upon check in, they gave us a passcode for the room, which is nice since we didn’t have to carry the hotel card.
Room was quite small for double room, but since they provide an aircon unit in the room, even the lowest fan speed still to windy for us because the small room. Although the fan speed was strong and cool, the duvet was too thick.. not too comfortable for late spring because it became too hot. I wish they change their duvet into thin one when late spring comes.
Bathroom was clean, but too small, we keep on bumping the bathtub.
You can controlled the lamp, aircon, see the onsen and breakfast congestion from the tablet inside the room.
The hotel offered a simple free breakfast from 6.30-8.30. Although it was simple, it was quite delicious.
Overall we did enjoyed our stayed in Super Lohas Hakataeki and hope we can try the twin room in their other hotel in different cities.
Nice touch, Japanese standard hospitality in every way. We got to choice our own pillows, pajamas and toiletries. Everything in the room is managed by an iPad which is so smart!! Laundry room is handy. Eco concept is nice.
We actually felt a bit sad having to leave it. Would definitely stay here again next time.
But along the way there was many restaurants, convenice stores and shopping places, so it was quite convenient.
Staffs are very friendly and willing to help. They always have big smiles on their face!
The room itself was big enough for one person, there was a big desk which I found a bit in the way, cuz I could barely open my suitcase and have path to walk around. But very useful to layout all my stuff.
Breakfast is excellent as always. And I don’t know if it’s only in Fukuoka, but they serve mentaiko at breakfast!
The bed is really good.
Nice location, close afoot from the Hakata station.
Wifi didn't worked all the time. Nice public baths but a bit small.
+ big twin room, comfy bed
+ nice location, quiet and opposite to 7 eleven (though Lawson and Family mart are just one block away)
+ helpful staff
