Detailed Reviews
First off, this is not a hotel. This is an appartment building with some people living here permanently, and some appartments being rented out. I saw a few people here that looked like there were travelling on business. I feel like I shouldn't compare it to a hotel, but I really can't help it.
Pros: Rooms are clean and comfortable. Have a tiny kitchen stocked with dishes, silverware, microwave, toaster oven, mini fridge. You could technically cook your own meals (if you can find a grocery store that is ... turns out there is one in Miramar basement). About 5 min walk to MRT station. Close to many eating/shopping options (Miramar). Internet connection worked well. Very affordable price.
Cons: No telephone in the room. No wireless. No room service other than breakfast in the morning delivered to your room. On the website it says "outdoor exercise area" read jungle gym. No money exchange service like most hotels normally do. Can hear a bit of noise from the street, which I didn't mind, but could be a bit loud for some people.
Overall I don't have any complaints about staying here. Very good value and quality for the money.

I stayed for one week at Rome Holidays and found it to be an interesting experience. A few of the oddities:
- There is a clothes washer on the balcony but no dryer
- There is a dish dryer in the mini kitchen but no washer
- The toilet has an automatic, heated toilet seat (very high tech!) yet you must manually lock and unlock your door
- The kitchen has a toaster oven but it has old, crinkled aluminum foil in it
- There are three remote controls but no alarm clock, no phone, and a tiny ironing board
On the plus side, the bed is very firm, as are the pillows, there are bicycles that you can borrow at no charge for a few hours, and it's about a 15 minute walk to the extremely convenient MRT station. Try the MRT if you can: it's inexpensive, crowded, and the signs are in English. Great fun!
The staff were polite and the room was clean. The hallways were shockingly hot and humid (it felt like walking into a sauna when you left your room). There isn't a restaurant in the hotel but if you order it, they'll bring breakfast to your room. You can have American-style items or Chinese-style items.
I'd say it's a very decent, well-priced place to stay. Now that I know to pack an alarm clock, I look forward to returning to Rome Holidays.

Stayed there for a business trip, everything was perfect. Free Wi-Fi in the room, breakfast in the room, near a shopping mall with a lot of restaurants. Clean & calm. Not far from MRT station (10-15 min walk)

Needed to work for a month in Taipei so decided to stay here rather than the cost of a hotel. 1 month is the minimum stay.
Check in was easy. There is always several people on reception. Some speak better English than others but all are very helpfully and fully capable.
We had a 1 bedroom apartment. The living room come dinning room is ample big enough. Off of this is a small kitchen with an electric hob, kettle, plate dryer and toaster. There is also a fridge and freezer so plenty to knock up simple dishes. The bathroom is pleasant with a light bulb heater and ample shower area, no bath. There is a large double be with a small walk in type wardrobe with a safe. Spread around the rooms there is plenty of storage space. Ther is also an iron and board.
There are 2 balconies. In addition to this you can go to the roof between 8am and 8pm were there is a small running track and table/benches. There is a good view plus you can see 101.
There is free WiFi in the room which works very well even with several products logged on.
You get breakfast each day which consists of a sandwich, piece of fruit and fruit juice. There is also room service 6 days a week and they change towels each day and bed sheets each wek unless you request more.
All in all it was a very pleasant stay and much cheaper than the local hotels. The apartments are about a 5 minute walk from the Mirimar and MRT.
The only issue (not the I-Station fault) is the building work going on right next to the apartments. Work stats around 7 in the morning 7 days a week.

This is a serviced apartment and not a hotel. Rooms are not big with the bed, sofa and the TV arranged in one line one behind the other. It looked like a big hall rather than a room. But since there was moving space inside it was not cramped.
The room had a small 2 seater sofa and a TV in front of it. The room had a tiny kitchen and a small table. The room comes with an internet connection.
The best thing about the place was that they rent bicycles free of cost. I found this very useful to go to the nearby malls as it would take a good 10-15 minutes walk to reach the malls.
One disadvantage : There is no restaurant in the hotel. If you order, they can bring breakfast to your room. But the breakfast was more of a mid-day snack and not sufficient.

Our family stayed in this place for almost a month in 2015. Our plane was delayed therefore when we checked in, it was almost 2am in the morning. The pillow cases smelled of previous customers hair oil but it was so late, so we didn't want to trouble the receptionist as there was only one security guy on duty there. We could not wait until the morning to request a new set of beddings. Not a good first impression with dirty linens. Reception were friendly otherwise and no more house keeping issues after all. Great toilets in the apartment. May consider staying again when traveling with whole family.

We stayed here for several days while in Taipei. The staff were friendly and helpful. We returned to this hotel after traveling other parts of Taiwan. One of the room we stayed in had a strange odor. It was convenient to have a laundry machine and the staff stored our luggage while we travelled for a few days outside of Taipei. The hotel is a 10mins walk to the mrt, but overall in a good location with food and shopping around the corner.
