Loved the style of the hotel. All in concrete and very modern. The personnel is very nice and responsive and the breakfast (for me as a Swede) was perfect. Best bacon I’ve had abroad ever for instance. They serve buffet breakfast. Didn’t find anything about that before we went so as information to others I write this here.

The facilities were nice & clean. Neat hotel w/ cool vibes & a decent location (few minutes from the beach).

However, we experienced some weak service. When we got to our room, our lock wouldn't work. They had to call maintenance. There was a dirty swimsuit on our patio. Then, when we were about to head to the airport, we realized the safe battery died with our passports in it. Had to get maintenance again. We ordered a taxi to get to the airport and it was 15 minutes late.

The wifi also didn't work at all. When we complained, they simply said it "wasn't their fault".

We talked to the desk about the issues we were having and they couldn't accommodate free breakfast or anything for our poor experience.

Overall, fine hotel but had many disappointing experiences.

I'll start with the positives:
- great location; only a five minute walk to the beach
- reasonably priced
- decent breakfast

A few things I didn't like:
- shower stall and bathroom stall are not completely private; the walls do not go up to the ceiling so you can hear everything when you are in the room
- there are no privacy curtains only the heavy, dark ones so if you need to change you need to completely shutter the curtains or change in the toilet
- wifi was a bit temperamental

If you can handle the negatives then you will be fine staying here. I give the place a 3.5/5 rating.

We have been traveling for more than four months. Stayed at 38 various accommodations and this is our first not recommended. It’s my fault for not realizing that it’s not close to anything. Everything cost 800 B ($24) one way to get to so that’s an extra $50 a day because it’s so far.

Why the not recommended then. On our last full day when we were sitting on the balcony we were presented with bill for 500 B for a broken soap dispenser. Apparently it broke off the wall sometimes after our shower and when housekeeping presented us with the bill. When we disputed not knowing what they were talking about we were told we broke it and if we didn’t pay the housekeeping person would. Though we felt bad we didn’t pay. This incident was followed with as missing item in our laundry. 34 items sent. 33 returned. Smiles and giggles is all we got.

The room is very nice. No view from the balcony of our third floor room. I can’t imagine the higher rooms were better.

The room rate was fair until you add the extra $30-$50 + a day for transportation.

Kamela beach is really nice. Nice beach community if that’s all you want then Wabi Sabi would be fine.

The way to the shop and restaurant very dark at night, I felt not safe to walking alone at night. One night I asked male stuff for a small bottle of water. He said I need to buy from hotel . 😏 (it’s 4 star hotel service) So that night I decided to walked back to shop and buy water.

- Location - It’s close to 7-11shop and restuarant in a few minutes walk but it took me 15 minutes walked to my favorite restaurant and bar on the beach.

-The room is big and clean but not cozy style. a bit like loft style. The toilet and shower rooms are separate, toilet flush very loud it woke me up at night every time my friend use it. Tv it’s useless because no English Chanel.
No bed lamp, plug not close to bed. it’s not good for you if you use iPhone.

- House keeping - I stayed here for 6 nights but I noticed house keeping didn’t clean toilet once. They left my hair on toilet floor until my last day.
Don’t forget to hang “do not disturb” at door. They would knock the door, they don’t wait till you answer and come in to your room. Luckily me that day I were in bed. Not naked.
- Breakfast- It’s good if you like American breakfast. You only have one choice. It’s cost 250 Thai baht per day.

it was a 3 nights stay, hotel is in a good location, easy to find and very close to the beautiful beach named Kamala, white&clean boutique style is really impressed us, lovely pool with that giant unicorn pool float is so amazing, breakfast is also nice, staffs are polite and helpful, we did have a good time here. Thank you so much

Lovely hotel, spotlessly clean thanks to the friendly and hard working staff. Very spacious room and balcony. A few minutes walk to the main town with its many shops and restaurants, five minutes walk to the sandy Kamala Beach. We didn’t sign up for breakfast so can’t comment on the food but the rooms are replenished daily with plenty of water, coffee and tea.
The downsides are not a fault of the hotel but as of January 2019 there is construction next door, though to be fair, there seems to be construction everywhere! It can get noisy during the day but this is only a problem if you want to sit by the smallish pool area. The toilet in the room is open at the top allowing for zero sound privacy which isn’t a deal breaker but what is annoying are the many obnoxious guests staying here that have no consideration for other people sleeping at 3.30am!!! Slamming doors, talking loudly on the balconies etc! I won’t mention what nationality seems to be the worst offenders, but I will say it
has unfortunately marred our stay slightly.

Our second time here and this wasn’t planned. We were here last year and had three rooms with pool access (4 kids). This year our plans were 1 week Kata beach and 1 week Patong Beach. But the hotel in Patong was a true disappointment so we decided to go back to Wabi Sabi our last three days in Thailand. We checked out early from the awful Patong Lodge hotel and arrived to the Wabi Sabi Hotel. Great service at once, wonderful room with pool access and wonderful stress free peace. Love the clean hotel and great staff. Nice room and very good WiFi. Recommend it from my heart! Thanks Wabi Sabi, we will come back!

We stayed for a couple if nights and enjoyed our stay.
The location is very good... Close to everything but also nice and quiet.
Staff are efficient and polite.
The room is very unusual. I have stayed in hundreds of hotels in all categories over the past 25 years but have not seen one like this. It is spotless, spacious with some good wooden furniture and has all you need but I am not entirely convinced by the design with regards to the ceilings and walls as to me they felt a bit bleak and like a multi-storey car park. I couldn't decide if it was minimalist genius or an incarceration chamber but it certainly got me thinking and any architect in holiday in Kamala should check it out.

We only paid 700 Baht for a metered taxi from airport to Kamala Beach. More than 800 and you were ripped off which is common. Go out the airport door to the left and find the metered taxis. Only use metered taxis all over Thailand, if you use the airport limousine ones that they offer you will pay double. One there, wine is expensive, beer is ok, food is inexpensive if you choose Thai curries etc, which are amazing! £500 should be enough for two weeks if you are careful. Also remember everything you buy in the shops should be bartered for, including any excursions. The excursions we took we got for 50% off the brochure price. Have fun...

Food was reasonable prices when we were there in October around Kamala Beach. All kinds of food and prices. Now is high season so maybe more expensive. Breakfast was included in the price at Wabi Sabi Boutique hotel and was excellent, filled me up so no need for a big lunch.
