Rooms: We enjoyed the basic room option on the 4th floor with glimpses of ocean views. Bed was comfortable, water pressure and temperature from shower was good. Room was very spacious, only thing it lacked was storage options. Only a hanging rack with coat hangers. The large glass window from the balcony let in lots of natural light. Tv had good options of English channels. Complementary bottles of water each day.
Location: Just a short walk from Kamala Beach or the main rd in Kamala, yet easy to get to. Only negative was that the back street was poorly lit so at night you have to use your phone torch or just be very cautious when walking. The location was quiet. Hotel was in close proximity to many restaurants, massage parlours, currency exchange booths, convenience stores.
Breakfast: Breakfast was good, a decent selection of freshly cooked eggs and bacon, pastry, toast, Thai food, yoghurt, cereal and salad. Tea coffee and juice available.
Pool: A decent sized pool, temperature cool and very refreshing. Family of ours stayed in the pool access rooms which led directly onto the pool.
Overall: I would recommend this hotel to anyone coming to Kamala. For the price you really can’t go wrong. The staff have been friendly.

They say that Thais don't judge a person by their clothes. It's about the same story with the hotel. The hotel looks more like many others, a little worse than in the photo. However, the more you spend time in it, the more it becomes somehow pleasant and comfortable. Firstly, a very friendly attitude even by the standards of Thais, who always seem positive and treat strangers kindly. Secondly, despite its minimalism, the room is very cozy. It seemed to me that the owners are quite sensitive to the furnishings in the rooms. A soft bed, a comfortable arrangement of furniture, a tightly screwed safe, two daily bottles of water, which are brought even if yesterday’s couple of bottles lie unopened in the refrigerator, an elevator, windows next to the doors, an awesome air conditioner that cools the room almost instantly, bathrobes, two sets of towels, a rug for legs. In general, it seems to me that they really think through the atmosphere to make the guests feel comfortable. Even the cat at the reception desk immediately makes it clear that the owners are truly hospitable people. In the evenings it is fun to watch the geckos living under the lamps in the hall. I highly recommend it to everyone!

Located just off the main shopping road in quiet Kamala, this is a new, modern hotel. Rooms are big, with large beds and convenient working areas, and have a large balcony overlooking the pool below, and with a view towards the beach. The large pool is a bit blocked in by the building and the neighbour wall, but is pleasant to use. The breakfast area is at ground level as well. For us breakfast was included, but possibly a bit simple in nature, and unfortunately there were a few biting mosquitos swirling around your feet (to the hotel's credit, there were bottles of mozzie spray available though). The rooms are what make this hotel - lots of space, modern fittings and furniture. A nice working area is behind the bed, between the bed and the separate toilet and shower, with the bed facing the big window - this arrangement created privacy and created a good feel about the room - it was simply nice just looking at the sunset from the comfort of the bed and air conditioning!

Ok hotel, a bit overpriced for what they offer. Room was quite spacious but we had two ceiling lights not working and torn towels with stains. Don’t book with breakfast if you only like to have 2 eggs, 2 small slices of bacon, white bread and slice of fruit. We didn’t bother with breakfast anymore after first morning and bought food from 7-11. The cleaning lady made a mistake with counting beers from the mini bar so upon checking out we were asked to pay more than we expected which we paid but we said that we should not be paying that much. Wouldn’t stay there again, and wouldn’t really recommend it because you can get better hotel in the area for similar price.

What a great hotel! So affordable, spacious rooms, comfortable bed, very clean and in a great location. The pool was perfect for a plunge to cool off after a hot day - which is every single day. Loved the understated design - the architectural concrete structure created a sense of calm. It was perfect for our two night stay and would definitely recommend it.

Lovely clean room well laid out lovely cool white tiled floor. Large patio door overlooking the town and view of the sea. Really nice view. A king size bed. Nice fridge actually I can get ice, Lovely. Separate shower and WC. Strange nowhere to hang towels. Would be nice to have a hook in the shower in the dry area. No hot water in the sink, strange.Flip flops and robes and robes also supplied. Air-conditioning great individually controlled and umbrellas 🌂 in the room, nice touch, just in case. Two bottles of water every day and box of tissue in the room. Breakfasts well laid out fruit, cereal, toast, croissants cakes fried eggs, scrambled eggs omelette, tea, coffee, orange juice, water all the usual stuff. Pool looks great very inviting and staff excellent couldn’t do enough for you. Really good sunbeds round the pool, but not used as much as the beach is only a two minute walk. The outside furniture and the chairs in the breakfast area look really nice but heavy, l nearly had a hernia moving them.

Beware of abuse!! All those who book through Booking.com, I was a victim of credit card abuse by this hotel. I received a direct message from the hotel on the Booking.com homepage asking me to verify my credit card, otherwise the booking would be canceled.

Decent hotel. The rooms are not equipped with wardrobes, only a few hangers. Clothes must be in suitcases. A little private when you are in the toilet, as it is not completely enclosed at the top. The pool ok but getting tired, poor and few sunbeds. The breakfast has a small selection of toppings... mostly hot food. Central to the beach and city centre Large veranda and good bed

The hotel itself is quite quirky and has the wow factor in the rooms initially until you take a closer look . We felt like we were living in a converted garage. Everything you needed was in the room but living in it was quite different . The rooms are I suppose meant look rustic, however, the walls and ceilings are in a definite need of painting. No bedside cabinets to put anything . The toilet and shower areas are a little intrusive as the have no roof so open at the top .
The pool area is nothing like the photos , so small and six broken sun-loungers, broken tiles all around the pool and you can’t get to the end sun-loungers without stepping in the pool , it’s that narrow .
Breakfast is not as it appears , the coffee is already in a pot and no yogurts as the photos show, but ok .

Excellent staff, helpful and friendly, always offering assistance to my wife who has some mobility restrictions. Large bright room on 3rd floor, comfortable bed resulting in a great sleep. Great shower. Room serviced daily and maintained very clean and hygienic throughout our stay. Enjoyed our included breakfast. Great central location in a relatively quiet area and within walking distance of most attractions and facilities. The hotel could improve a couple of areas;- There is a lack of wardrobe and storage for long stay guests. Handrails required on steps which are fairly challenging for older legs. There is also a lack of steps or similar access facility to pool unless you are staying in a direct pool access room..

We only paid 700 Baht for a metered taxi from airport to Kamala Beach. More than 800 and you were ripped off which is common. Go out the airport door to the left and find the metered taxis. Only use metered taxis all over Thailand, if you use the airport limousine ones that they offer you will pay double.
One there, wine is expensive, beer is ok, food is inexpensive if you choose Thai curries etc, which are amazing! £500 should be enough for two weeks if you are careful. Also remember everything you buy in the shops should be bartered for, including any excursions. The excursions we took we got for 50% off the brochure price. Have fun...

Food was reasonable prices when we were there in October around Kamala Beach. All kinds of food and prices. Now is high season so maybe more expensive. Breakfast was included in the price at Wabi Sabi Boutique hotel and was excellent, filled me up so no need for a big lunch.
My flight was delayed last time I stayed at Wabi Sabi and not only was there someone at the desk, the owner was there to greet me. I arrived about 1:30 AM. THAT'S SERVICE!!.
There are more places to choose from in the Kamala area.
