We stayed at the accommodation for several days and were very satisfied overall. Charly and Koong are warm hosts who are open to the concerns of their guests.
The location of the accommodation is very good, you can quickly walk to Kamala Beach and there are numerous shops and restaurants in the immediate vicinity. The rooms are spacious and clean. Clearly recommend it!

What a fantastic small guesthouse. Set in the heart of Kamala beach near the restaurants and 2 minutes from the beach the hotel has 11 or 12 rooms with ensuite. Whilst the rooms are not huge they are more than enough with a large comfy bed, wardrobes and air con. The shower is spacious and the water pressure perfect. The rooms are very clean.
The most important thing is your host Charles who is the absolute best he is always available to help you. When you enter the premises you cross a little bridge over the koy pond and if you are lucky you will be greeted by one of the cats. There is always time to have a little sit down in the cool reception area. We stayed for a week and I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again it was that relaxed.

PapaCrab is a super pleasant guesthouse right in the tourist center of Kamala. You get into the holiday mood as soon as you walk over the small KOI pond in the entrance area. There are 10 rooms, 4 of which are on the upper floor and 6 on the ground floor. All rooms are absolutely clean and always smell fresh. Everything you need is there. There is a place to sit in front of the rooms.
Charly, the guesthouse operator, tries to do everything he can to please his guests. Whether it's excursions, food tips or organizing a scooter. I was always more than satisfied.
Since it's a guesthouse and not a hotel, you have to eat outside, but that's no problem at all in Kamala, since everything is very quick to reach (even on foot).
I can only recommend the place and the guesthouse and would come back here anytime.

We were at PapaCrab for the second time in December 2023.
The location is very central in Kamala. Everything is within easy walking distance, the beach, restaurants and a few small shops.
Despite the central location, it is very quiet around the guesthouse.
Charly and his wife are wonderful hosts.
The open and friendly way in which Charly shares his experiences, gives tips for excursions and restaurants and organizes excursions is really great.
We had a good and relaxed time.

Loved staying here for 9 days in August 2022. 1 min walk to a beautiful beach, lots of restaurants, cafes, massage shops, markets, ATMs and convenience stores around. Clean and nicely decorated interior. AC, fan, mosquito screens, towels, shower gel, fridge - anything one might need. The hosts Charly and Koong were super friendly and eager to help with anything I might need, I was especially grateful for their vast knowledge of the island and help in setting me up with different activities I wanted to do like scuba diving, surfing, a canoe tour to the islands, a Thai cooking class and the elephant sanctuary.

As per other reviews Charly is a gem of an individual with a deep personal connection the town and wants you to love the place as much as him. His recommendations for breakfast and dinner were spot on, important as we were only there for 2 nights. Our room was good and we enjoyed the firm mattress and slept well. The bathroom was a little tight but didn’t detract from our enjoyment and the shower was decent with lovely lemongrass shower gel. He arranged our transfers and these were the same price as Grab so good value. Charly is clear on what the property does and doesn’t have and he fulfils on the promises he makes. Great location and great value for the area.

5 out of 5 stars for sure! This place has such a nice vibe! The room smelled amazing - a perfect aroma of essential oils and love. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the owner and workers here are all incredibly kindhearted people. The location is phenomenal, just steps from the beach and the water. PapaCrab Boutique Guesthouse is extremely environmentally friendly, and they support an environmentally responsible world. The atmosphere is terrific and everything about my stay was truly sensational. If you are in Phuket, I'd highly, highly recommend staying at PapaCrab Boutique Guesthouse!

I felt very comfortable at PapaCrab. The rooms are very clean, a good size and very well equipped. Despite the central location, the room was very quiet. The owners are very nice and take great care of you without being intrusive. If you want, you get good tips about the place or the island.
The proximity to the beach is great. The price-performance ratio is just right. I'll be back.

This place is idealy located in Kamala.
3 mins walk to the beach, and close to all the bars and restaurants.
Because of its position, it is quiet and peaceful.
The rooms are well appointed and modern.
Charlie ensures nothing it too much trouble and everything is perfect.
