We stayed here for a week. We rented a scooter and explored the whole island. You do need some sort of transportation cause the place is a little far from the beach/city. Rooms are good, has everything you need. Airco a little noisy, bed is soft but firm. Only 1 pillow per person. Amazing view, nice balcony with chairs, table and a rack to dry your clothes. Bring your own conditioner cause there is only shampoo available and after a day at the beach my hair really need more than shampoo. Pool is great! Only open till 19.30 though. There’s also happy hour at the pool bar with nice cocktails. Staff are all super nice and friendly. We came 3 hours to early but could check in anyway. Breakfast is good, lots of variety. Would definitely recommend this place! Just if you can’t walk too much, it’s maybe not too convenient cause it’s a lot of steep walking up the rooms.…

Overall, the hotel was welcoming, clean and the food was great. The hotel is located on a hillside, so the flip-side to having great views is that you have to go up high. Consequently, some rooms are quite elevated. Buildings seem to be numbered - we were building 3. So - Room 3201 is building 3, second floor, room 01. Building 4 looked to be located at ground floor level, but wouldn't have had the views that building 3 has. Building 3 wouldn't be practical for those with mobility issues, though there was a little shuttle tuk-tuk that took residents up to the higher buildings (though you'd still have steps to climb once there). We didn't see it as an issue, but we're fully mobile... Breakfast started early enough, and consisted of everything you could imagine! There is cereal, sausages, eggs, cold meats, omelette on request, or, of course, a massive array of Thai dishes. We ate at the restaurant a number of times too - the food was excellent, as was the service. It's a shame that it wasn't more busy - but I guess people ate out a lot. Room service is cleverly available via scanning a QR code in the room - but the menu isn't so big this way. If you want something that doesn't appear on the scanned menu, then simply phone through - It's no problem at all. There is a beach literally at the foot of the hotel - but it's not the type a beach you'd rock up to for the day. You can walk into Kamala in about 15 - 20 minutes, or there's a shuttle from the hotel at designated times. There's also a shuttle back, or you can get a taxi or tuk-tuk for 200 Baht (about £5). 200 Baht is the starting price for taxis in the area, but you can travel quite a way for that. Kamala to Patong was only 400 Baht, and that's about 20 - 30 minutes away. Don't forget to explore all the swimming pools - there a little one down near the spa room (which was closed for redevelopment whilst we were there), and quite a scenic waterfall feature too. We stayed at the resort for two weeks, way too long to be in one place. Staff are extremely friendly. Rooms very average, Resort not as indicated in photos, not a 5 star resort, needs upgrading. Average breakfast, same choices every morning for our two week stay. No atmosphere to encourage spending time in common areas like pool , bars or restaurant .

The rooms were impeccably clean and furnished with brand-new amenities, and my room on the 3rd floor boasted a breathtaking high corner view. The hotel provides a convenient shuttle service from the lobby to Building 3, ensuring easy access to the accommodation at any time. The service provided by the staff was truly exceptional - from the helpful Facebook admin who provided detailed information during the booking process to the warm and courteous receptionist who checked me in. They even assisted with carrying my luggage since there is no elevator. The breakfast buffet offered a delightful array of high-quality food, and the evening meals were equally exquisite. The entire staff went above and beyond, including surprising me with birthday decorations on my bed. I initially booked to stay here for 4 nights and ended up checking out after the first night to move somewhere else. Depending on the website it is advertised as 5 stars which is absolutely a lie. As mentioned in other reviews one of the pools was under maintenance and the other one was dirty and the tile very moldy. The room was a little dated, which is fine, but my main complaint was that it was dirty and not fully cleaned for a while. There were spiders just chilling in multiple corners of the room, dead bugs elsewhere, and the mirrors were very dirty. I felt very uncomfortable in the room and even asked for them to go through it while I was out for the day, but when I returned they had just made up the bed. Between what felt like a bait and switch on the advertising and the lack of cleanliness in the room I would not recommend staying…

Nice view from our balcony Room is well maintained as we expected, hotel location is hidden and far from the city centre, not much worries motorbike rental is there for you ! Mr. Khet and cute girl Aon at the reception check us in and greeted us every morning we walk to the pool or restaurant Spa is closed for some reason Also one of there nicest swimming pool under maintenance but the swimming pool in-front of restaurant is offered, that very nice view Restaurant staff is ready to serve the best meal to you guys Shuttle bus to kamala beach is probably good too All in all we loved to stay here again when we visit Thailand

Namaka Resort Kamala is one of the best resort I experienced and really we had fantastic time in this resort. It had every facilities you need for an amazing holiday with kind and helpful staff. Awesome location. less than a minute to reach to beach and a bit walk to Kamala beach. And also, the Namaka Resort has free shuttle to Kamala beach every 30 mins for drop off and pick up to back to hotel. I really would like to recommend it to everyone. Marvelous view. So peaceful and relaxing. Beautiful and amazing resort.
