Sunwing Kamala Beach is a family-friendly hotel on the outskirts of the small village of Kamala on the Thai island of Phuket. The hotel is set on the beach, surrounded by greenery and with views out to the Andaman Sea. Its buildings are arranged around tree-lined gardens and the hotel's pool complex. The style of Sunwing Kamala Beach reflects traditional Thai architecture, with whitewashed walls, overhanging roofs and balconies with wooden rails. The centre of Kamala village is a short walk away, and here you'll find local shops and stalls selling fresh produce, gifts and handmade souvenirs. Perfect for young families! The location is perfect for families, right on stunning Kamala Beach. The resort has everything you can think of, loads of swimming pools, kids club, pool classes, fitness classes, stocked mini mart, nightly shows for kids and adults. The rooms are spacious and clean. The restaurant is great and kids eat free with a paying adult. Lots of nice Thai/ Western options. But lastly the staff, thank you to everyone Monte and the front desk team for looking after our family so well ❤️ And to Fon and the girls in the restaurant, thank you for your excellent service and being so kind to our daughters.

A lovely resort for families. Clean and bright surroundings and rooms. Happy, smiling staff especially Joy at the Kids Club. Food at the restaurant is good, breakfast is simple but yummy with good options for the kids. Kids eat free with an adult at lunch or dinner which is great value. Pools are very clean and water slides keep the kids entertained for ages. Massage ladies at the front pool are excellent and also great value. Beach unfortunately had a lot of rubbish this visit, but lovely restaurants along the beach front and an easy walk into town for chemist, 7-11 etc. Hotel can organise tours and drivers that are well priced.

We weren’t actually staying at this resort but thought we’d visit for lunch and a swim, hefty fee to swim in the pool 1200 baht per adult kids are free, other resorts like the four points Sheraton are free to swim when having lunch etc. the resort itself great for kids has multiple slides and pools and looks like has activities for kids.

Our family stayed for one week in this wonderful resort, we were very happy with our stay :) The rooms are specious and nice, the food is great, with reasonable prices, there were plenty of Gluten free options for my celiac kids. The kids enjoyed the water slides andthe kids club activities, the girls that worked there were extremely nice, especially Joy The staff at the reception were very helpful and nice, specifically Kwan, so generous:) We liked the morning Yoga classes with Ash, and also the nights with live music at the restaurant, the team at the kitchen were so sweet too, always smiling, we remember Fon, Sun and Bye, but all of them were really amazing.

This is our second time to stay at this resort after exactly one year on. I must say it did noy disappoint again. Actually exceeded our expectations. Our group of friends had a pleasant stay as well, all 14 of us. The Team at the Front Desk were very accommodating as ever. Very helpful to help us whatever we were after. Ms. Renelyn Ramos, Ms. Aya Barranta were superb in attending to our queries from the day we arrived. The other staff in the Reception were also on their feet from the get go willing to assist all of us. It has made the welcoming so pleasurable after our partying hard from Patong District a few days before. Sunwing Kamala Beach Resort is a more relaxed atmosphere for everyone to enjoy the beautiful surrounding areas. Slower phase and yet, enjoyable. Although we did not get to use the pools this time because of full on daily activities, nonetheless, just watching other guests enjoying their swim, that made us felt that we were swimming with them. Monday night was special as there was a Live Band, JBC Band, that was performing while we were having drinks and snacks. Our group even got invited up to the stage and sang along with the band..it was awesome. It was also tempting to get into the groove while the music was playing so we all danced the night away till the band played their last song for the night. The fun did not end there as our group decided to head off to Kamala Village to check out the shops which were only a stone's throw away. We managed to get some items from an old friend that we met a year ago. It was pleasant catching up with her and inject some money into the local business. Bars and Restaurants were still open late night, so it was very handy. The following days/nights were pretty much similar, having an hour massage to end the fun days were the icing on the cakes. Having massages every night to me were unmissable...you must have the massage..it is A MUST. We will definitely come back here again to enjoy great pleasures life has to offer. Till our next visits.…

My wife and I stayed 3 nights The hotel is very nice,clean and the room is big and comfortable. The hotel is very close to the shops and in front to the beach. Staffs are very helpful and friendly. Especially Renelyn Ramos and Aya Barranta for the assistance they provided. The JBC band is amazing. They provided good entertainment to the guests.

Last June holidays my family and I stayed at Sunwing Kamala. We had the best family holiday in a long time. The staff are so friendly, always smiling, always happy to help. From the moment we arrived, the reception staff greet you with the warmest welcome (special thanks to Renelyn and Jinda) and everything starts from there. The best buffet breakfast you could want. The restaurants, great service, great price and great food. 8 pools, yes 8 pools to choose from. Outside the resort, just a short walk to shops and other restaurants. I think we have stayed at Sunwing Kamala 8 or 9 times since 2011. Why? Because it’s the perfect family holiday resort. Everything you want is there. Thank you Sunwing!!!

During our recent stay at the hotel, we had the pleasure of staying in one of their beachfront rooms. The room was spacious and clean and it offered stunning views of the ocean. The breakfast itself was enjoyable, offering a wide range of options. We did, however, find the distance between the beachfront room and the lobby and restaurant, where breakfast is served every morning, to be a little inconvenient. It was quite a walk going back and forth between our room and the breakfast area. This could be a challenge for guests who prefer a more convenient location. Beachfront room is a lovely option for those seeking a peaceful and serene environment. Ideal choice for those who prefer a quiet room. However, the poolside rooms and the Happy baby studio rooms on the ground floor were the most convenient. Being located near the restaurant and lobby, these rooms provided easy access to the various facilities and services offered by the hotel. One of the highlights of our stay was the beachside massage service. Not only did it offer relaxation but it was also incredibly affordable. Additionally, the hotel's location was a huge plus. Well what can I say only amazing hotel start to finish, I can't find any negatives, stayed for 2 weeks from the 10th of August, family 2 kids 10 &11 , we organised through hotel airport transfer, it was so easy , driver waiting when we got out of airport, got to hotel and was greeted by very friendly staff , the guy who brought are bags to room I think his name is Do (but could be wrong) he was so nice as were all the staff , room was great so clean and what we needed for are 2 week stay , pools were amazing, food drinks, everything was amazing, it was hard to leave the hotel, beach is just out a gate which was fab and kamala town a short walk , we got massage which is in the grounds of hotel just on the beach we had manicures and pedicures, a lovely treat and girls were amazing, I would definitely recommend, so safe relaxing, taxi service at hotel , market just 5 minutes away , we done a few tours are self's and a perfect location to go to patong and phuket, it was an amazing holiday and I hope to return next year …
