We stayed 2 nights in a one bedroom pool suite. Checkin was nice and easy and very welcoming by staffs. The one bedroom suite was very huge and felt more like luxurious apartment since it has huge kitchen. Since its COVID time, restuarant was close so all our meals were prepared for us in villa. We got complimentary afternoon tea set on first day of arrival. We also got private chefs to cook our dinner which was way too much for 2 people but we finished it since they were very delicious! Overall, we would love to be back again.

We stayed in the magnificent Penthouse Pool Suite for a few days this November and loved every moment of it. We were a bit sorry we could not invite a big group of friends to join us for drinks in our generous 270sqm suite. We loved the view of Kamala Beach. The private pool was up one story on the rooftop - very secluded and peaceful. We loved the staff - especially the team at the restaurant and the barmen, who introduced me to one of the best red wines I ever had. Try it- a German Shiraz (what?) from the vinery Markus Schneider, called Holy Moly - exquisite. The food is nice and the view form the restaurant of the palm studded pool beautiful. The Andara also has a very good gym. Everything you need is there. It was a pleasure to meet the Swiss GM Daniel. Thank you for everything. We will be back for a longer stay.

I’m typically not pleasantly surprised when staying at villas or hotels ( we have traveled all over the world) but the Villa 8 is the best place we have every stayed. We arrived late and were greeted by the Villa staff which includes our personal chef and maid along with the property manager with lays and a ice cold towel. As we entered the property it felt like we entered a warm rich 5 million dollar home that has left nothing to the imagination. 6 bedrooms Ocean views, infinity pool, award winning chef. The food is off the charts, let them know what you want to eat for the next day and they head out to buy the freshest ingredients and produce your favorites. The property is quite and secluded You will love it if you try it. We will be definitely us this as our Phuket spot to stay.

Been thinking of whether I should publish this review or not for awhile. As I have reported a face to face complain to their hotel GM after I checked out that day, and I never heard back from them after few months and even not an email follow up. I think I should tell to the public what I have experienced with this hotel. I stayed in Andara this Feb with my family. Below are the happenings. Incident 1) the air conditioner was out of order and been seriously leaking for the whole night on 1st night stayed. My parents almost fell down there during the night and I immediately called their concierge. Their facilities management only arrived the next day afternoon after we chased for so many times. During our waiting, there is no hotel staff assisted us on cleaning out the water and floor. NO ONE! We just put all the shower towers on floor and make sure kids and elderly won’t slip on it. Incident 2) then next day, my 6 years old nephew fell down in swimming pool and had a serious long bleeding wound on his nose with skin peeled off. Their swimming pool staff never offer aid assistance to the kid immediately unless I called and went insane to concierge people. The next day they offered us a nurse for wound checking, but that nurse ran late badly with no apology the next morning and totally ruined our day time planning. Incident 3) I twisted my ankle during Phuket trip and been fairly walked around with a stick for a week. I was looking for buggy to send us back to the room after dinner at 9pm. Their lobby staff told me there is no buggy and recommended me to jump back to the room, although seeing me walking with a stick?! Kidding me?? Simply as that, this hotel is not recommended. I never thought of paying a 5 stars holiday accommodation and received “no star” service from them. Hardware is good but service level is ridiculous.

As I have stayed several times at Andara Resort Phuket I would like to point out that staying there is never a disappointment. The resort is beautiful, the accomodations are extremly spacious, tastefully furnished and offers top-notch facilities and amenities. Today I would like to compliment the staff working at Andara. Everybody is highly motivated from the housekeeping staff to the gym staff and especially the teams at Silk restaurant and the pool area. My special thanks go to Mr. Kim at the Silk/Pool outlet for his courteous service. He is attentive, helpful and always eager to help. I do appreciate those efforts and I am thankful for it.
