We came back to Bali for a family wedding, so happy to get back to de Vins SkyHotel. Their breakfast is the best, Egg, Pancake & Coffee stations plus a vast array of salad, meats, cheeses, pastries, cereals, fruits, juices. Loved the Eggs Benedict and the views from the open air 7th floor breakfast area. Rooms are large, well appointed, large bathrooms, great toiletries, large mini-safe, daily water. Free refreshing juices at reception and free shuttle to the near neighbourhood. What more could you ask... perhaps to stay longer!

A genuinely memorable stay at de Vin’s Sky Hotel in Seminyak . It is a small boutique hotel located around 7-10 mins walk from the main road & 15 mins walk from the beach. A one way shuttle service is offered to the shops and beach till 9 pm. Despite renovations in progress on the rooftop there is access to the pool and rooftop bar which offers great deals on cocktails and drinks at set times of the day. Excellent genuine customer service with friendly smiles and attention to detail from Ms Aseh & her Team really made our trip enjoyable and comfortable. They went above and beyond to accomodate our requests and were committed to making their guests feel valued and welcome . The buffet breakfast is great value and a separate vegetarian menu is available for vegetarians too. The spa is reasonably priced and offers a range of treatments. Overall, the accomodation is reasonably priced and great value with genuine Balinese hospitality. A big thank you to Ms Aseh, Sami, Gusti , Diana, the staff at the front desk and at breakfast for making our stay truly wonderful and memorable.

Really mixed feelings about this hotel. We booked through an agent so I'm not entirely how much we paid per night but I get the impression that it is very much a middle of the road hotel.
I will start by saying that the staff are all fantastic. As with all Balinese people in general, we found them happy and helpful at all times and they def made the stay for us.
I personally loved the rooftop pool and bar and thought they were a lovely addition.
The location was good as only a 20 mins slow walk to Seminyak beach and the hotel provide a free shuttle until 9pm. Coming back it's a nice leisurely walk or a cab is pennies via the grab app.
The negatives are 100% the state of the rooms. Other reviews have mentioned the state of the towels and the overwhelming smell of damp and mould and I have to say the I echo that totally. We bad to ask to be moved from our first room as the smell was so bad. The shower leaked through to the bedroom. And there was thick mould everywhere. The lever kn the whirlpool to switch between bath and shower head was immovable due to build up of limescale as the water in Bali is so hard
The room we moved to was much better but it did still smell. The rooms are also very tatty. It's such a shame that such little effort is made to maintain the rooms as it could quite easily spoil your experience if you let it.
The common areas are all very nice but we def would not stay again purely based on the very low quality of the rooms.

We booked for 4 nights, but extended for an extra night, the service is one of the best we have experienced, few issues with our room, all sorted easily. The staff cannot do enough for you here. The location is very good, free shuttle service to beach and shopping centre, we walked back a few times also. It is a small walk to main road, however not too far. Also enquire to book directly you may get a better price. The roof pool is lovely also, stayed for sunset one night which we great, food was nice. Breakfast was ok, nothing special but nothing to complain about , the view is great.
Lots of spas near by, we also used a local laundry service , which was much cheaper than the hotel service. Would defo stay here again .

We had an absolutely amazing time staying at this hotel. The staff are all so friendly and attentive, they help with any issues or questions and are so polite. It’s located in a good area not far from shops and restaurants or the beach. The hotel offer a buggy service which gives you free transport to local areas which was so helpful! We stayed for breakfast everyday and it was lovely food with a standard continental breakfast such as fruit and pastries, and then a mix of Indonesian foods and English breakfast foods also. We enjoyed the quality of the food here. The hotel also offer a variety of evening events and dinners such as an all you can east satay night, a Balinese night, and movie nights. We stayed for the satay night and really enjoyed the food available. We also enjoyed the drinks during the day, they serve to you by the pool or in the lounge area and we really enjoyed the quality of each cocktail we had, they were well made and tasty. We enjoyed lunch most days which were all delicious with great portion sizes! The room service is also amazing, we ordered at various times and they were quick and up to standard. We enjoyed the treatments the spa had to offer, they were well priced and carried out amazingly with such a relaxing atmosphere. There is also a sauna and aqua tonic pool which is cost free! The only comments that I would make would be that the fitness room is minimal. It has minimal equipment which is outdated but still useable. As well as this, the music when around the pool can get repetitive when sat there each day so more of a mix with the playlist may be better.
Overall we were so happy with our stay, this hotel really helped us enjoy our holiday experience and we will definitely be recommending to friends and family and would stay here again!

The hotel needs a all over makeover. The rust marks were visible everywhere upstairs buffet area and pool area had visible black mould on pool cushions. The bar had a rusty old fridge. Poor breakfast buffet some days had no protein you have to request bacon and even then it's a strip. The staff were lovely but the language barrier became frustrating and the confusion was clear when calling reception and not being able to communicate basic requests. $100 p/n for a whirlpool room that had no cutlery, cups, wine glasses not even a bottle opener drawers were empty. Do yourself a favour and book elsewhere you have far better options the photos are out of date probably from when it was first booked.

We're regretfully to hear about the bad experience you've had and everything you mentioned in this review is being reviewed to determine what steps need to be taken to improve our products and services. Development training programs are in place to enhance staff knowledge as well as improve their communication skills to be able to communicate in a better way. All of our rooms are equipped with standard room amenities such as hairdryer, safety deposit box mugs, kettle jug, microwave, etc. We do not provide cutlery and wine glasses in the room except for the Devins Suite room. However guests can always have it by call room service and the staff will be very happy to deliver it to the room. We also provide a bottle opener in each room and it is located above the sink cabinet We're very sorry to learn that you did not enjoy the breakfast prepared by our culinary team. We have a wide variety of breakfast from Western to Asian food and we even have an Indian corner for those who want to experience a different style of food. We also have an egg station where guests can order egg dishes based on their preferences. We are stripe to improve our products, that's why we have just started some renovations of our rooms and also some of the public areas will be also getting special treatment to keep them looking up to date. Once again we would like to apologize if some parts of our service did not meet your expectations and hope we can earn your trust for another visit to witness that we made some improvements. We stayed at De Vins Sky since it had been selected by the travel agency we turned to. Having opted to stay in deluxe rooms, we would have expected a completely different service. However, we found that the room did not present the characteristics attributed to it. In fact, it had a window overlooking the car park, the floor was ruined especially near the bathtub (visible from the bed through a completely glass wall), a very damp room (our wet clothes took several nights to dry), eyeless finishes for the detail. Breakfast not up to par and, although with a wide choice, not supported by adequate quality; the same consideration applies to dinner, which we enjoyed one evening via room service. The structure is located close as the crow flies to the beach, although in practice it takes about 20 minutes to get there on foot. Furthermore - at least during our stay - it is not very hospitable due to the high waves and not at all clean.
Friendly staff and appreciated the possibility of using the free shuttle service to go to the center of Semnyak (it is not possible to do the opposite, i.e. return from the center to the hotel).
In conclusion, the quality/price ratio, also net of the narrow location of the hotel, leads us to the consideration that there are accommodation facilities in Semnyak where you can have a better experience with the same expense.

We stayed for 6 nights this time and also this was our second time booked in De Vins Sky Seminyak. Service was great starting from security, reception, housekeeping, management, and restaurant, they were excellent. The location is also great, there are many choices around for eating, close to a couple of famous beach clubs, close to a supermarket, it's pretty much located surrounding a busy area but not too close to the main road so you will not hear the traffic. We had a room issue on the first night, We passed our concern to management and Mrs Asih solved our problem quickly. Their breakfast is nice with plenty of choices and they have a coffee machine and you can order as much as you can! Oka and his friend in restaurants are so friendly and keep checking guests if they need more assistance. Housekeeping did a great job cleaning the room. So tidy and clean! They also provided a shower area in the SPA if your flight is at night. They are very nice to hold and keep your luggage if you don’t want to go to the airport too early. There is a Buggy who can drop you off anytime in the Seminyak area. TV channel pretty much covers enough for international movies but for movie lovers like us, is not a smart TV, so there is no Netflix or other movie app. They offered dinner with entertainment, we joined one of them with a Balinese Dance! That was a great experience and the food was yummy! We had a great time staying here just like our first experience. We surely will come back again.

Pros: - friendly staff - breakfast tasted great - the entertainment/shows/eating options the hotel makes available - movie night, satay night, cultural dinner - free shuttle within the Seminyak area - money exchange in front foyer - air conditioning in the room works - 2 bottles of water free each day
Cons: - Location - It is not in the middle of Seminyak but is a 5-15 minutes' walk to restaurants. A free shuttle will however take you where you want to go in the local area. Gojek costs not a lot only AUD$5 to Legion and AUD$10 to Kuta - needs a bit of renovation - rust on window frames with paint peeling on Level 7 (restaurant and pool area) - two out of the four elevators worked but the two that did work, worked reasonably quickly.

We stayed at this hotel for 4 nights. What makes this hotel is the amazing staff. The restaurant and bar staff are exceptional. Each and every person went above and beyond. The food at breakfast was one of the best of our whole holiday and we enjoyed every meal we had at the hotel. Any problems we had were dealt with really speedily by the reception staff. Whilst our room was large it was very outdated and really needs a facelift. We upgraded to a whirlpool suite but wouldn’t recommend it as our balcony was really dark as it looked straight out to a wall so there wasn’t much sunlight so then we didn’t actually use the jacuzzi so felt that was a waste of money upgrading. Other than that we did enjoy our stay. The hotel has a shuttle bus to Seminyak Village which was helpful however it wasn’t a very long walk so we used it once just to get our bearings.

Yes the hotel supplies pool towels. You have to trade a room plastic identifier that you get when you check-in. You trade this identifier for a towel and then get it back when you return the towel at the pool. At check out if you don't have the identifier then the hotel will charge you a towel purchase fee.
Not in the rooms . But just ring house keeping they will send one to your room with a ironing board . I suggest you do it early in the day as they only have so many available .
There are more places to choose from in the Kerobokan Kelod area.
