Tam Coc Gardens is a very special gem. The resort is dreamy. The landscape, locale, and resort itself splendid. Beauty everywhere we looked and the owner has an exceptional eye for design and details. The architecture and interiors are stylish with design eye candy everywhere and perfectly integrated with nature. No details overlooked.

The villas references another time while ensuring modern comforts. The beds are comfortable and we love the variations of bathtubs in all room categories.

Dining is refined and warm. Excellent wine options and exquisitely prepared food.

The staff are stellar - warm, competent, and tolerant. We received and observed exceptional professionalism and kindness from the accommodating staff.

Tam Coc Gardens is a dreamy countryside escape surrounded by magnificent scenery. This was not our first nor last visit. We look forward to many returns.

We spent three nights at this hotel and it was an amazing experience from start to finish. We received a warm welcome on arrival with tea and a selection of snacks which was a nice touch. The rooms are beautiful and have been well designed and furnished and felt very elegant - they are set in the hotel's garden which is immaculately kept and adds to the beauty of the resort. Although it wasn't quite warm enough to swim in the pool we enjoyed having a drink and reading by the pool which has some lovely views of the surrounding area.

The food in the restaurant was also very good with both Asian and western dishes to suit all tastes - we highly recommend the Vietnamese savoury pancakes for breakfast, lunch or dinner, they were amazing. The staff were so friendly and welcoming and the fantastic barman made us an amazing cinnamon cocktail which you have to try if you visit. He also taught us about Vietnamese food and culture which was really interesting and made our stay even more special. Jean also made us very welcome and we enjoyed speaking with him.

The hotel is in a nice, quiet location but it is easy to reach the points of interest nearby using the free bikes at the hotel. The hotel provided a handy map outlining all the view points, pagodas and boat trips etc located nearby which could be reached by bike.

I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone who plans on visiting Ninh Binh.

Absolutely stunning ecolodge in a remote location far away from the overcrowded touristic area. You can tell this place is well taken care of, and although it’s a bit pricey, it was definitely worth every penny. 100% recommended :)

This resort is more like a retreat, a total oasis that lets you escape from Vietnam's craziness in the middle of the most incredible landscapes. The staff were attentive and friendly, the food on-site is brilliant (both western and local options) and the pool area is divine.

The rooms are super spacious with gorgeous bathrooms, comfy beds, fridges and seating areas, and they feel very private with views over the rice paddies and ponds.

The hotel is a short drive from Tam Coc and the hotel has bikes which are the best way to explore the area. In terms of value for money it's brilliant, places like this would two, three, four times the price in other countries.

Absolutely loved it, I'll be back in the future!

Quiet, clean oasis of calm hidden away from the hustle and bustle.
We extended our stay with them as it was too difficult to leave!
We opted for a half day jeep tour which was organised through the hotel - a very cool experience! Also were able to take the bikes out for free to explore the countryside and town which is very close to the hotel.
The rooms are beautiful, clean, quiet. Staff are friendly and helpful.
I would say the restaurant was a little pricey in comparison to the places in town - so recommend to venture out to explore for local food.
A wonderful stay overall!

We had been booked here by a travel agent for 2 nights as part of a longer trip in Vietnam. Unfortunately the weather was not kind to us (grey, cool, wet), but the feel and quality of this resort made up for that a bit. The setting is wonderful, right in the middle of the rice paddies, and also near the end of one of the river cave routes. The gardens around the resort are beautiful. The restaurant is great for breakfast and dinner, and the dinner prices are OK considering that you are a way away from cheaper competition. The French restaurant manager was very pleasant and all the staff helpful and efficient. Room quality was great - spacious and peaceful with a fine, but slightly quirky, bathroom. We were just soory that the weather prevented more enjoyment from the pool and bar area, which would have been fabulous given the right temperature.

I visited Ninh Binh along with my husband as Tam Coc Garden had a special promotion for couples. This has definitely been the biggest highlights of our trip, maybe because we're used to avoid expecting anything despite the raving reviews online, or maybe simply because this is a beautiful property with amazingly caring staff, great food and excellent service, in a breathtaking location. It turned out to be the most romantic trip we've ever had, completely secluded in nature, with only few people, post-lockdown period. We highly recommend the Room upgrade to the Panoramic Category, as it gives you a panoramic view of Tam Coc's karst formations and beautiful rice fields. Highly recommend the activities they offer, we tried the Cooking Class and had a great time while connecting with each other and with the locals themselves. We wish we had more time to try out other of their cultural activities but decided to keep those for the future as we'd like to come back with our children.

Exceptional in every way from location, which was opposite one of the river/cave trips and a short distance by bike or moped to Tam Coc/Trang An, to absolutely beautiful quiet setting surrounded by karsts and rice paddies. The staff are amazing - helpful, friendly and always willing to make your stay pleasant (thank you Tu, Ting at reception, and Duang in the restaurant). The rooms are all done like little villas with big beds, bathrooms, hangout area looking onto view of paddy field and a little patio. We stayed 2N/3Ds and can safely say this is the nicest accommodation around.

If you haven’t been to Ninh Binh, you are missing out. Beautiful country side with 3 excellence riverboat ride and hiked that offer beautiful scenic view.

If you want to chill and getting pamper the same time. You should stay at Tam Coc Garden Resort.

Is a 2 1/2 hour ride from Hanoi, but when you get there just so much to do and see you would be amazed.

We stay at the Full Moon Villa with private infinity pool and cabana with a amazing fantastic view also a nicely appointed living room, bedroom and in the bathroom separate shower and bathtub.
Breakfast daily. And two hour massage daily was included in our package,(Wow what a treat).

Service all around was exceptional with kind and genuine smile. Housekeeping arranged flowers and leaves on the bed doing turn down service wishing us happy holidays was a very nice touch. Thank You!!

Dinner at restaurant is country style cooking it was good, Buffet breakfast was very good with lots of Western and local food choices, service was excellent.

I was so happy to join that resort, comments were so well including for the food. I was quickly desapointed when I asked for the traditional beef noodle soup, I got instant noodles with 3 pieces of meat. Except salads, all food was frozen food, the Ban Xeo was so hard that I couldn't eat it, in compensation, they gave me the lemon juice for free. Unbelievable.
They're also doing crazy work, I had the excavator near my room from 7:00am to 8:00pm... not speaking about the drill around the pool.
I know we're in Covid time but I paid full price for the room and the food, that is just unacceptable. Everything around is great but for sure, I will not come again. I was looking for calm and peace, I didn't get it!

Dear Celine, We're disappointed to learn that your stay did not meet your expectations, please accept our entire team’s sincere apology for the inconveniences caused. This particular incident is an uncommon mistake and we're committed to rectify it. I assure you that I will be personally investigating the issues you mentioned, namely the construction noise and the quality of some of our dishes, as we're committed to providing the best possible service to our guests. Please do take into account that the full price you mentioned actually had a 30% discount applied, which of course doesn’t justify the poor experience you’ve encountered at our property. We hope to convince you to change your mind about another visit to our ecolodge, and give us a second chance to turn your experience around. With much appreciation, Director of Tam Coc Garden

Boats can easily be arranged on the spot. Plenty of boats there. You can arrange a taxi but I would highly recommend the hotel bikes. It’s only a 10m trip and it gives maximum flexibility.
