Putu swastina gave us excellent service on our visit to coco penida! We had excellent food and the cocktails were delicious. We ate the carbonara and had the chocolate lava cake. The view is lovely too! Thank you so much!

I would like to say that this resort is a total GEM on Nusa Penida Island. We stayed at the Coco Resort Penida for one night and rented scooters from the resort to drive around the island. After a few hours of exploring, on our way back to the resort, we had an unfortunate accident on two scooters. We crashed on the road after hitting a pile of sand and we were both injured with lacerations. My friend also broke his ankle. Local residents helped us get back to the resort where the resort staff was waiting. They got us comfortable in our room while I talked to insurance on the phone. The resort driver soon took us 15 minutes down to the Permata Hospital for treatment and an X-Ray. The hospital stay took around 6 hours and the driver WAITED the WHOLE time for us to finish up before taking us back to Coco Resort. So incredibly generous and nice of the driver and staff. Once we got back, the staff had the restaurant still open until 10-10:30pm at night and the food was excellent, especially after not eating all day at the hospital. For and island with limited resources, having this help from the resort was invaluable and I cannot thank them enough. While we didn't get to enjoy the resort as hoped, the room was in great shape, the food was good, and the pool is very nice. If you're traveling to Nusa Penida, scooters are a great way to get around, just please be careful!

Mixed reviews about this place. Breakfast and dinner were basic which was as expected. The food is freshly made and tasted nice so couldn’t complain. The staff were lovely in helping us organise a day tour, cab, and boat tickets to our onward journey. It was expensive but the most convenient option. (900000IDR for a full day tour of West NP and 600000IDR pp to Gili T) Our main issue was the quality of sleep we got and this was because of the lack of soundproofing material used to make the huts. Be prepared to hear chickens, bugs, your neighbours conversations, motorcycles revving and honking at all hours of the day. In the night and early morning it was a real struggle. Also the pillows were very thick which made sleeping uncomfortable and woke up every morning with neck pain. If I were to come back to Nusa Penida I wouldn’t stay here purely because of the noise but we had a great time.

My partner and I enjoyed a lovely relaxing 3 night stay at the coco resort. Room was clean and spacious, pool area was gorgeous, and the little restaurant served up delicious and great value food. The staff were all friendly and helpful, particularly the receptionist- thank you for all your assistance. We used the hotel driver for a tour and taxi service which was easy and reliable. The resort was small, quiet and intimate which made for a great stay.

There are few hotels on the Island so we did not have super high expectations before coming here. Eventually we found a super nice hotel surrounded by coconut trees. The swimming pool is very clean and we really enjoyed it. The location is perfect, close to many interesting sites of interest. The lady at the front desk was super nice to us and very helpful during the 3 days we spent here in August. The restaurant is good and prices are very reasonable. Contrary to what other guests wrote, we found the room very clean. The only thing that could be improved is the soundproofing but is due to the fact that the hotel is built in a traditional style with use of natural materials for the roof. We recommend you to stay at this hotel.
