We arrived after a very stressful journey and delay, there was a bit of a mix up over our dates (I hadn't double checked the confirmation so it was as much my fault), however the lovely Jelena instantly sorted our booking, upgraded our rooms and made us feel really welcome. The hotel is beautiful, the rooftop pool is amazing and breakfast was excellent. The front desk staff were amazing advising on local activities, organising a taxi to and from a local beach (we were the only ones there for a good hour), advising on train travel to Bar (and dropping us at the station). Really nothing was too much trouble, and we left having a good mix of managing to see and do things in the local area and a chilling out for a week. Its an easy 30 minutes trip from Podgorica airport. We didn't use the spa facilities but definitely think we'd go back for a long weekend.
There were a couple of really minor design points, as mentioned previously the area around the sink is difficult to place toiletries, the shower could do with a shelf. and the balconies would benefit from an airer to dry swimwear.

Excellent hotel, brand new, large rooms with incredible views over Lake Skadar, a nature reserve and a pearl in itself. The staff is welcoming and helpfull to overcome a slight glitch in the a/c. Only problem in design was no place in the bathroom for personal items. But the real surprise was the restaurant. The places in the "town " of Virpazar didn't look very appealing so we decided to try our luck at the hotel. The waiter, Anatoly, was so friendly and forthcoming , recommending dishes for my fussy husband. I had the Caesar salad with fresh and tasty shrimp, scrumptious ! Anatoly recommend the ribs for hubby who licked his fingers. The local wine he suggested was great as was the tirmisu. A really great meal! And the breakfast the following morning was also wonderful . And the coffee was the best we had in a hotel on the whole trip!

5 Stars are not enough! We needed an emergency 2 night stay in Virpazar and The Hotel De’Andros was the answer. Newly rebuilt property with a mixture of modern and history appointments, a roof top pool and lounge area, spa facilities and possibly THE best restaurant in the area. Plus without a doubt, THE BEST STAFF in Montenegro. A personal Shout out to the Front desk’s amazing staff members Jelena, Petra,Ivana, Elena & Nikolas, who all went out of their way to provide us with an excellent experience. It starts at the top with Hotel Manager, Dejan who commands an excellent staff to offer their guests a wonderful experience. Last but not least, your stay at the De’Andros is not complete without a private boat tour around Lake Skadar with Captain Ivica.. Welcome Aboard! A job well done by all!!!

Wonderful hotel. A class above the rest so far in our tour of Montenegro. Helpful staff, high quality interiors, beautiful and tranquil location. A must-stay in my humble opinion and the roof top bar and pool has a fantastic view of the lake.

We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel whilst visiting for a tour of the lake Skador. Beautifully designed and spacious hotel. Stunning roof top bar and infinity pool. Staff looked after us and were very considerate of our special dietary requirements. Definitely the most luxurious and comfortable hotel in the surrounding area.
