Highly recommend for a stay in Virpazar. I stayed one night in dragas apartment and another in dragas rooms, both were exceptionally clean with an amazing terrace that looked over the lake with beautiful views. Draga and her son were also very welcoming and happy to help out with everything I needed during my stay. The Apartment is located in the centre of Virpazar and a short walk from the train and bus stations. The perfect place if you’re looking for a peaceful and comfortable stay in Virpazar, excellent value for money.

Draga was so welcoming and managed to accommodate us without booking beforehand (the place we were meant to stay was awful). The bathroom is only shared between two rooms, so it was really clean and lovely. The bed was comfortable and the views from the balcony were incredible! The kitchen was also a bonus! Draga's son runs a tour company, so booked a tour of the lake and kayak hire through him. Would recommend to anyone!

Comfortable bed, kitchen (small, but for one night is really enough), balcony with amazing view, very nice and helpful owner - what we need more? :) air conditioning albo workshop very well. In Vitrpazar everything is close ;) but it was close to everything and very calm place. Next time we are going to stay also in this place.

We had a small, dark room with a huge balcony overlooking the lake. The view was amazing! I think this is probably the best view from a room in Virpazar. However the air condition didn’t work, and the shared bath and toilet (both in same room) could really have used a shower curtain.

Quaint family guesthouse with all the comforts of home. Draga and her son Pedja are beautiful host. Welcomed with some fine local brandy and although it was raining for most if my stay I've had a really nice time. Pedja was willing to share with me so many wonderful stories of his home town and country. I highly suggest a stay here if you like getting to know some if the local people and their traditions/history. Any time of year! The views from my balcony are stunning and I would very happily stay here for months at a time if I could. I was not able to partake on this trip, but I know that Pedja offers boat trips out on the lake, 2 hours with a fair price compared to other local companies. Other reviews have more to say on this. Get out of Kotor and Budva and give Virpazar more of you time. You will not regret it! :)

Draga was very friendly and full of smiles and free raikia. Her son runs a local tour boat company and gave us a discount on an already cheap tour, and can't recommend that enough. Her son was also very helpful making other arrangements for us such as advising of a great local beach and arranging a cheap local taxi.

First pro: amazing views of the wetlands and mountains right on the terrace. That’s a view I’m going to miss! The nonsmoking flat we stayed in (because smoking is disgusting obviously) was a loft where the bedroom and bathroom was the top floor. The bed was pretty comfortable but the lack of a sheet (there was just a duvet) was noticeable. The pillows were ok, could be better, could be worse. The bathroom was very small and the shower was squeezed into a corner of the bathroom- there is no curtain separating it from the toilet so you get the bathroom a bit wet (but there is floor guard so the floor isn’t completely soaked). Soap and shampoo was provided. There is a minute amount of cutlery and flatware provided, and a tiny sink and a hot plate, but no kitchen. There is a mini fridge though and it makes items nicely cold. The location is almost right in town - I mean Virpazar is tiny- but the fact it’s a 2-minute walk from the bridge means you have birdsong and frogs during the day and at night. However, if the sound of nature might bother you - and the frogs are LOUD at night- bring earplugs (though closing the window does help). There is an occasional poor dog that barks at night as well. Petak? Pega? (Draga is the mother and she speaks very little English) is the one who you communicate with and is overall great; he speaks English very well and arranges discounted boat tours, and also is a fountain of other great info. He gave a great tip for a cheaper taxi ride from the airport versus the typical airport taxi (€15 versus €25). We didn’t use the AC in the flat but it’s available. Cons: The communication prior to the visit could have been better. It was frustrating to wait days for a reply via Booking.com. Also the exact address is not listed on Booking.com which seems pretty obvious to provide! The biggest annoyance was bc of construction going on, WiFi was nonexistent in the flat except right near the door which means my husband and I huddled near the door everyday. The construction was not problematic otherwise and Petak? Pega? was apologetic but I feel the rate should have been discounted because WiFi is a big reason why I chose this place versus others. Finally, not being able to pay via card (versus cash) is annoying- c’mon it’s the 21st century!
