As the only member of the Leading Hotels of The World on Phuket, The Nai Harn Phuket offers the largest non-villa rooms on the island, and an equally generous culinary spread with the resort's signature restaurant Rock Salt, featuring 50 Top Rosé Wines selected by globally renowned wine critic James Suckling. In these tough times hotels are making special offers to try and get business. The Nai Harn is no different, however they have not cut the corners on luxury in their rooms or what they offer in dining and service. The rooms are absolutely enormous and beautifully decorated and equipped with full mini bar and a pod coffee machine. The balconies are almost too big. Fabulous day bed and sun lounges. Must also mention the bathroom. Yes another see through bathroom which is the in thing, but no cheap blind separating the room. Instead there are elegant wood sliding panels which look like a wall and give total privacy. The view from the balcony is straight out across Nai Harn Beach, the most beautiful beach in Phuket. The Nai Harn is a definite...Do Not Miss!

Hotel's Favourite
The location of this hotel is what dreams are made of. It sits in a very quiet bay in the south of Phuket. The views from the rooms are stunning. The beach is one of the cleanest and safest beaches we have visited. The hotel staff from the person meeting us at airport, the driver and then the front office were terrific. Extremely well trained. Then the staff in restaurants, spa and pool made the visits to these areas even better. I would rate the hotel and its staff overall, as one of the best I have stayed in over 40 years of International Travel

Quite possibly the most picturesque view of any beach, bay, anywhere. Spacious rooms, fine pillows, bedding, with bright bougainvillea flowers everywhere, and a glorious bfast dining room, looking out to the baby powder sand beach of Nai Harn, with emerald and Aegean blue water, depending on the time of day, with tropical palm trees, all around. You can even hear the lapping of waves from the balcony to the bedroom. The hotel pool has loungers shaded by flowers, with marble bottom pool, and hotel provides all sorts of equipment, bikes, paddle board, kayak and beach umbrellas, mats. Their restaurant at beachside is lovely during happy hour on Wed-Sun with classic live singing, perfect to watch the sunset.

I have stayed at many hotels in Phuket, and this has got to be one of the best hotels on the island. The service, decor, lush tropical fauna, facilities, and location with a gorgeous beach makes this a very ideal, albeit slightly far-flung, hotel. The exterior looks like Santorini and the beautiful room designs reminded me of the Sofitel Ipanema in Rio. A few things that stood out: the brilliantly designed shower with natural skylight, gorgeous balconies with great view of Nai Harn beach and the bay, the intimate Euro-vibe swimming pool, and the best plush bed at any hotel I had slept on in Phuket - no kidding. The bed wraps around you and your body just sinks into the mattress - also, I noticed that the King bed here is wider than other King beds I had slept in. There are some comments that the wood decor in the room looks cheap quality but I am not a carpenter nor an interior designer, though yes, they look sand down and lack the lacquered teak look but I find the interior to be quite nice. I stayed here for four nights and if I had to find faults, it will be that the f&b were rather limited as its during COVID so not all restaurants onsite were open. Also, as previously mentioned, the location is a bit far from a lot of other places (but so are so many other hotels in Phuket) so F&B options outside the hotel can be quite limited as well. I would also like to have more Southern Thai Food on the menu as I find that there’s not a lot of local Southern Thai dishes - though standard thai fare are available. The other fault that I can identify is probably the pool. Personally I had no issues with it as there were not a lot of other guests when I was staying there, but I can definitely imagine how the small pool can become Overcrowded when the hotel is at higher occupancy level. The design and landscaping of the pool deck is very pretty, and the tanning deck has alot of loungers to catch the sun. For the room, I was staying in a deluxe Oceanview room with a oversized balcony that comes with a huge daybed (which Are iconic for this hotel), and two deck loungers. This is definitely the perfect place to catch the late afternoon breeze with a beer in hand. The room also comes with two types of bathrobes - one in cotton and another in terry. Also, for the deluxe rooms you also get free mini bar that is replenished daily. Coffee pods and loose TWG (4 types) are also available alongside a tea pot. I find the decor of the room to be very soothing, with the right amount of bright pops of color and natural wood. The bed, as highlighted is divine, and there is also a pillow menu. The bathroom has two sliding doors that are perpendicular to one another - One side is facing the room out to the balcony and the other door is by the entrance foyer and faces the closet. There is a deep soaking bathtub that faces into the room and balcony, and the toilet is in its own separate area next to the standing shower area with it gorgeous natural skylight ceiling. Toiletries are hotel-branded and has a nice citrus scent. I can easily spend days and weeks staying at this hotel, although the distance from Old Phuket town is far. But nothing that cant be sorted with a cab ride. I love the hotel for it’s quiet location and Nai Harn beach is one of the prettiest beaches in the island. If you walk along the road next to the hotel inwards, there is another smaller beach that is quite pretty as well. This is definitely a hotel I see myself staying again if I’m back on the island, and if you are looking for a quiet laid back beach then this is perfect.
