The wife and I have visited numerous Timeshare properties..All but this one was in the states. Wife usually says that visiting a resort one time is about all she can handle.. But in this case she changed her way of thinking and said she would love to come back again. So in the future we will probably be coming back to Laguna Holiday club.
The LHC Phuket Resort is integrated in a vast set of other developments and a golf course, all forming a large gated community interconnected by an efficient private transport service for transporting guests, including transport to the resort's commercial area and the beach. The whole set is super nice and calm, away from the hustle and bustle of the island. A beautiful beach support, practically exclusive for guests of all developments. The apartment was spacious and well equipped but unfortunately it was close to the resort's technical centre and the noise produced there is annoying, especially at night. The friendliness of the staff is common to all activities. It is part of the Thai way of being.
Se and Orachon were incredible. Thanks for welcoming us every morning and making the visit so memorable! Great for families and friends on a group visit. Our suite was massive and I’m from the USA. We could wash dishes, boil water, and had a living room. If you want to party in Patong at night you can easily call Grab or a Taxicab to take you to party. Also, one of the ethical elephant sanctuaries is nearby, so make sure to BOOK IN ADVANCE. Also, people can use the Xana Beach Club, two gyms, and visit the huge Angsana Laguna resort via shuttle and buggie/golf cart. Have a great time ! Pool is small, so you should just go to the Angsana Laguna or beach, unless you have kids. Just note, there are mosquitos so bring non-spray and ethical bug repellent, I used bracelets or nopixgo. My wife and myself (former Laguna Holiday Club members and now part of the Angsana Vacation Club - AVC) have stayed every year at the 79 room Laguna Holiday Club since it opened its doors in 2006 and we are now approaching the end of what has been yet another most enjoyable stay. Whilst the property may lack the profile of some of it’s neighbours (Angsana, Banyan Tree, Dusit Thani & Outrigger) it has a charm all of its own which is why so many AVC members such as ourselves return year after year. Another reason is the excellent staff who always make us most welcome - notably Khun Ampai (keeps our room looking impeccable!), Khun Jeed & her colleagues on the Front Desk (couldn’t be more helpful & pleasant) and especially Khun Kung (transportation guru but able to answer any question you may have!). The rooms themselves are spacious with good amenities and furnishings but they - together with the infrastructure (the condenser above our room played up - for the first time - during our latest stay and there are some drainage issues) - require updating. In this regard, I was pleased to learn that an extensive Refurbishment Plan is in the pipeline and will, hopefully, have been completed before the end of the year (ie before our next visit!). Other highlights are the fact the property backs onto the impressive Laguna Golf Course and is only a 10/15 minute walk (even shorter Shuttle Bus ride although they - in common with the Boat Service - are not as good or regular as they used to be!) to Bang Tao Bay which, to my mind, has the best Beach on the Island. Ideal for our Morning Walks! As such, we always look forward to our annual visits - just a pity they seem to pass by so quickly!!…
