My husband and I spent a wonderful weekend sleeping in one of the beehives, a must-do experience. The staff were wonderful and the food in the restaurant was delicious and well-priced. However, the shared bathroom was a disappointment. It is in desperate need of an upgrade. The shower curtain in the ladies bathroom was see-through and hanging by one hook, the outer door didn't close properly and the paintwork looks like it was done by an eight year old. Proper shower stalls and a few shelves and hooks will be a huge improvement.

We stayed in the bee hive which was an experience. I would strongly recommend if you are not young and energetic you only stay 1 night and rather spend the second night in a cottage. There were some staff that were very friendly and others did their jobs. It was extremely hot and unfortunately the pool was not operational. The toilets at the bee hive accommodation were totally unacceptable. They were dirty and not even the toilet paper was replaced.

Nice and beautiful place (rondawells). The horse riding trip was fantastic (would recommand to do that) but when we were there it was very quite in the lodge. Nice food and comfortable stop between Mbabane and st. Lucia.

No bar, no swimming pool as advertised. No seating in bedrooms. Couldn't sit outside as no seating. Very basic level of accommodation and public rooms, not very clean. Map and newspaper stolen from room on departure. Difficult to get information eg on security in lodge opening/closing times. Staff not very forthcoming with information.

A lovey relaxing area at the beuatiful spacius chalets sitting on the veranda early evening watching the small game including warthog walking amogst the chalets feeding virtualy at arms length, lots of birds setling down for the evening chirping away merrily, some mornings the giraffe are also right there at the chalets
A very special place to break your trip from Durban to Swaziland - especially on the way back that allows you to have a good nights rest with a big breakfast under your belt and a safe relaxing early day trip back to Durban - stay more than one night and just relax , the staff will look after you very well
Food - good but needs help in the kitchen to bring it up to excellent
The chalets are massive with a second bedded area upper level, Especialy clean with big en suite bathrooms and showers big enough for two persons to shower togetherS
The location just inside the Swai border on the main road from the Lavumisa border post to Big Bend,Manzini and Mbabane
They have many other sleeping facilities as per the traditiol beehive huts as well as an outside area outside the main camp with newly decorated rooms where I have stayed on numouras occasions when the main camp full - All the meals are taken at the main camp that must have one of the most dramatic dining room areas in Swaziland very spacious with a porch area overlooking a large dam with wild duck and other water birds in attendance
and now in the dry season many animals many animals coming for a refreshing drink, The main dining room has a stunning very high thatch roof with beuatifull timbers supporting the thatch and the attentive service of the staff round off a very relaxing meal
The food though very good needs a good helping hand in the kitchen to improve the offerings
There is also a well stocked gift shop plus game viewing drives from a special vehicle - plus a play area for the little ones
A very well priced stay with reductions for pensioners - do not pass this one by - a bargain of the year

I with my son and a friend had a pleasant experience at Nisela Safaris. For an affordable fee of R130 we enjoyed sleeping at the HUT.The hut like room was spacious and clean. The atmosphere was cool, neat, spacious and the view was amazing. The staff welcome us with a friendly smile and the services was nice.Prior to our arrival, the hotel reservation department was excellent. For those residing or booking from S.A.D.C countries without a credit card, you can pay for your booking in your home countries through any FIRST RAND BANK branch.Ms Nozwe is doing an excellent job in this department. After my departure, she went an extra mile to send me an email to find out about our experience during our visit.

We booked the beehive huts, unfortunately, when we arrived they weren't ready. We were interested in some activities to pass the time and the reception staff were quite unhelpful, even the gift shop people bordered on rude. We seemed to be the only ones staying there that night, though a tour bus stopped in at the lovely restaurant for lunch. The beehive huts were an interesting experience and comfortable enough with good linens and 2 single beds, but the door didn't fit well and we were a bit skeptical on the security. We did end up passing a lovely afternoon/sunset safari/bushwalk with our excellent guide Sibu, who was very friendly, accomodating and knowledgable. The safari truck was no longer in use so we got to ride in the back of a pick-up truck. We had a great snack plate and enjoyed the bush. There were some interesting animals mostly giraffe, wildebeast, impala, zebra and nyala, nothing exceptionally unique but they were all quite skittish compared to the National Parks. We had a bit of a fire in the boma pit and then got up early the next morning and reached the border in about 30 minutes so it was quite convinient. This place seemed quite run down, like there were big visions a few years ago but they didn't follow through. There are several things advertised that either no longer exist or are weak by now. The bee hives were a decent budget option for a night, especially if you are into the experience. This is definitely not a destination, the friendly housekeeper and our excellent guide whose talents honestly seem a bit wasted in a place like this were what redeemed this place for us.

Although we didn't do the safari tour, we had a pleasant stay in their spacious caravan park. Dinner at the restaurant overlooking the watering hole was quite good, although the selections were limited after the long holiday weekend. Staff was very friendly and accommodating.

Located right on the main road called Mr8, this safari can be done either by walking, bicycles or jeep. The bicycles can be rented there but we choose the jeep tour. Our adventure started with a sit down meal in the open air patio area. The view is amazing of the large pond and surrounding mountains. The menu had a wide array of choices from burgers to seafood, as well light sandwiches. There is a full bar and plenty of room for large parties and even dancing. Our meals were amazing but more than the taste of the food your coming for the view and the relaxing dining experience. High vaulted ceilings and roofs covered with the grass are really neat. The rooms were all very simple, we did not spend much time there. Everything was clean and bathrooms were nice.

Our guided jeep tour safari lasted about 90 minutes. We saw many animals including: wild bore, giraffe, zebra, monkeys, water buck, kudu, and spring box, and even a pack of what I think were wild turkey but not sure. The giraffe were very active and would wrap necks and fight. The water buck were also very active. There were some packs of giraffe that cooperated with having their pictures taken. The trees and other plants were all very pretty, and the driver was happy to stop any time we asked for pictures. I would highly recommend there stop for anyone including couples, families with children, and small groups.

A comfortable stay over in the Chalets - very clean and tidy and quiet being in the bush. Tea and coffee facilities in the Chalet with plenty of soaps etc. in the bathroom. Would stay again whilst travelling through Swaziland - affordable.
