This is truly the best place in Thailand where I rested. There will be many words, but I will try to give the maximum information about the hotel in the April 2020. 1) The room is huge! The bed is large: the three of us slept comfortably (me, my wife and child 3 years old). The air conditioning was powerful, it cooled the room perfectly. Who writes that he is blowing on the bed, just adjust the angle of the "curtains". The fridge freezer has got a spesial form for an ice, which I have not seen in any hotel in Thailand. Whiskey + ice = great evening on the balcony;) The balcony is good - there are a table (constantly used in the room), two armchairs, a clothes dryer. 2) The wi-fi is wonderful. I calmly used the Internet: read the news, mail, YouTube. 3) The room cleaning servise is every day and the cleaning is excellent. They never forgot to get anything, they did everything quickly and accurately. 4) It was possible to order food in the lobby of the hotel (main building). I highly recommend fried rice with chicken and Mango Fresh, very tasty. The baby was eating just chicken without any spices, he was pleased. 5) Communication with the staff also gave only positive emotions: they solved all problems and tasks, told important news, ordered a taxi. 6) We were completely satisfied with the location of the hotel: a thin road leads from the hotel to the beach (left, 3-5 minutes on foot), is usually used by bikes. If you go straight from the hotel, then you can walk to the market in about 20 minutes (it works on Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday, Sunday). If you go to the right, past the Title condo, you will reach 7-Eleven, although there are so many in the area. 7) We prefered to eat at Phen's cafe. For three years of visiting Nai Yang we have never found a place where the price-quality food would be better. A pleasant surprise was a 10% discount for residents of Pensiri House. Now I will describe not quite the cons, but rather the features of the hotel. The hotel does not have an elevator (only 3 floors). This did not bother us. The bed mattress is really hard, also like in other hotels. After living in Pensiri, we stayed in a hotel in Surin, then in two hotels in Bangkok - the bed is also everywhere like that. My back, of course, was ill but i fill myself better after swimming. The shower pressure is weak. But, this didn’t bother us, it just took a little longer to do shower. Total. Great 4 weeks in a great hotel. A huge quantity of pluses, wonderful staff, wonderful holiday. I sincerely hope to come here again :)…
I have booked (and paid) Superior room with BALCONY for my old mother 3 months in advance. When she arrived she was given totally different room without any balcony, with incredibly noisy AirCon During check-in hotel owner said "we dont have another rooms anyway". My mother spend one sleepless night and had to move in another hotel! (although we had booked 3 nights). All nice photos of rooms here and other websites is only SOME rooms. But are you sure you will be given these rooms upon arrival?? we were thinking -yes, and were cheated. I am not even talking that we had to find very fast some alternative hotel (and pay extra money) when all reasonable options already were booked out. Stay away!
This property has such potential, particularly in the new rooms; however, this is let down by the standard of the bedding and towels provided. The matress is very hard, which is easy enough to adapt too, but holes in the sheets and towels make the property seem very cheap, which it's not price-wise. The real cherry on top is the pillows which are terrible. When I went to reception to ask for an additional pillow I was told "the owner says only one big and one small pillow", with the small being a cushion. I was prepared to accept this, so I asked, ok well can we get a different large pillow in the room and was told no. Nowhere in the world have I been refused a request to SWAP a pillow, and this is really terrible customer service. There are plenty of places to stay in the area, so I would recommend searching elsewhere if you value any form of service to be provided.…
I stayed 5 nights in a Superior Room with Balcony and a further 2 nights in a Standard Room with Balcony. Actually I preferred the Standard Room, it had a little more character than the brand new and rather clinical Superior. Facilities the same in both, just room size slightly different. As a volunteer with Soi Dog this is the perfect location, many others from Soi Dog stay here and the hotel offers a discount to volunteers. Everything is very convenient: laundry is cheap and turned around very quickly, the little shop sells everything you need at better prices than on the beach front, it's 3 mins walk to the beach, rooms are kept super clean and the welcome is friendly. As a budget option, you can't beat it.
Stayed 2 nights in ground floor room in building 2. Very clean and quiet but probably nicer upstairs with a balcony. Comfy bed, hot water kettle but need to provide own tea and coffee and good hot water shower. English TV channels. A short walk to the beach and the cafes. Or walk up to the main road to Family mart. I enjoyed my short stay however Phuket is very expensive by Thai standards and good was very pricey. Also this beach had a predominantly Russian tourists who dominate the nearby condos. I didn't meet any other nationalities.
Warm welcome, clean, big room, a short walk to the beach, restaurants etc. Kettle and cups in the room but you need to bring or buy tea or coffee. You can buy breakfast and snacks downstairs, and the hotel will gladly book you a taxi to the airport (THB 200). There’s a walkway to the beach but do watch out for motorbikes using it as a shortcut. The beach should be gorgeous but there’s a lot of plastic and other rubbish in the sand. And local businesses are still giving out plastic straws and bags. This beach is ripe for an eco makeover!
We were not sure if we would be able to catch our flight out of Phuket so opted to spend an extra night and try the other day. We had already checked out of Phuket Marriot down the beach and we were looking for last minute place. We had passed Pen Siri a few times while exploring and decided on this place with little to no research. We were pleasantly surprised. The room was so clean. We had stayed in The Slate, next door and Marriot down the beach and this place was comparable in cleanliness. The room was so simple we wondered why we spent so much money on the other hotels and didn't just come here to begin with. The lady at the front desk was so friendly. The local taxi drivers hang around outside and are good for a friendly conversation with foreign travellers. There is absolutely nothing to complain about and if ever we are in the Nai Yang beach area we are definitely skipping the big hotels and staying in this little gem!…
My wife and I stayed for 6 nights in the newer part of the hotel and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The room was modern, clean, serviced every day and very reasonably priced for high season, we’d definitely stay again.
Small hotel at the end of the road to Nai Yang Beach. We chose a second floor room which was clean and had a balcony, good bed, hot water. There was a kettle in the room but no coffee/tea. Although they could not provide a wake-up call, they did arrange for a car (B 100) to take us to the airport very early. There is a small convenience store at the hotel, and the path to the beach is across the road. Once at the beach there are hotels, many food stalls, restos and other services. Somewhat overpriced at $42 thru Booking.com.
Very clean, friendly staff, walking distance to the beach, restaurants and shopping. Discount at Phens restaurant if you stay at this hotel. Good value for your money. Some rooms with a patio, great AC. Would stay again.
