lovely hotel, gardens surrounding it are fabulous and well kept .restaurant and bars are good ,food is not expensive . Big shout out to the following staff who made my stay memorable . Restaurant Wa Wa ,bars Nat and Sergey ,reception Maya, Soda and Lek all are a credit to the hotel . Would return definitely .
We had a 'de-luxe' garden room for the first ten nights and then a pool villa for the last three nights. The de-luxe room was adequate and the villa was more roomy. Having stayed at the Dewa previously, our expectations were high. However, standards have dropped significantly. The staff, as individuals were very helpful but the quality of food at breakfast was very poor. Insufficient coffee making facilities, croissants were stale due to being stored badly. Omelettes prepared with no seasoning. We only had dinner at the hotel once and had to send back my main course. Prices roughly double that of the restaurants around 200m away and the quality and choice poor compared to them. The resort changed hands not too long ago and it definitely requires money to be spent to bring it back to what it was pre-Covid. We will return next year but have booked an apartment rather than the hotel.…
When I first found this resort on the internet I couldn't believe some of the beautiful photos and descriptions; were we ever surprised to find everything as stated/pictured and even more stunning. We were most impressed with our poolside villa -- our own garden, pool, canopied bed, lots of space for the short times we spent indoors, and the beautifully manicured gardens everywhere we went. We found the staff very accommodating when we had questions, got lost, or needed assistance finding a pharmacy. Most of our interaction with them was at the front desk and in the buffet breakfast dining area, and all were happy to help where they could. We took all our breakfasts at the resort, and enjoyed a wide variety of foods each day; I tried everything at least 3 times over the course of 6 days, and was never disappointed. The only disappointment: we decided to borrow bicycles which were available gratis, and taking to the road after not having ridden one for over 60 years, found that it was not as easy as the proverbial "riding a bicycle". I managed major injuries to shoulder, knee, and ribs, but received excellent first aid at the hand of those at the front desk when I returned. From the time we were met at the airport until we were dropped off at the end of our stay, it was a wonderful 6-day holiday on a beautiful island, with an uncrowded beach almost at our doorstep, and amenities to be found close by. I would recommend Dewa Phuket Resort and Villas to anyone looking for a special getaway, romantic or otherwise, and we hope to be able to return again some day.…
Our first time in Phuket Thailand the resort was nicely located walking distance to Naiyang Beach . We rented a kitchen equipped room and a hotel room for our adult children . Traveling to a foreign country with food allergies can be daunting so we always rent a place with kitchen . I did not use the kitchen our Kitchen Hospitality host Som O diligently cared for our dietary needs at the daily buffet breakfast . The amazing chef cooked things in separate pans modifying everything for us to prevent cross contact . They went above and beyond . Everyday they ask what we’d like to eat we had so much variety and enjoyed every bite . We were tearful in appreciation . Som O and the chef showed us empathy and we’re so accommodating . We look forward to our next visit . We never experienced any allergic reaction it was a dream come true . We cannot express how grateful We are !…
Nice place, near to the airport, so good choice if you come in late , or need to catch an early flight. And maybe just for a night or two. Free shuttle service. Very friendly staff ( especially Tom) Limited sun beds at the pool. Pool villa is great , but small pool and no sun bed. Breakfast is okay standard. We also had lunch and in room dining wich was great. You can easily walk to the beach and the restaurants nearby I will go here again if it suits my flight to and from Phuket.
We stayed at The Dewa in December 2022 for four days. The Front Desk people were very friendly and efficient and we were shown to our villa within minutes. Our villa was a good size, but the outdoor area was superb. A good sized pool, sunbeds, table, chairs, and a small garden, all within the walls of the villa. The pool was clean and we enjoyed it. The service was exceptional. The breakfast spread was plentiful, but if we asked for something not there, the chef cheerfully prepared it for us. The beach opposite the hotel is quiet and not crowded, and we enjoyed walking on it. About 500 metres away is the village with several eateries and shops. The beach there has some restaurants on the beach as well. A luxurious experience in a calm and lovely part of Phuket. Would love to stay here again! Oh, and we saw no mosquitoes or other troublesome insects. Perhaps because of the season, or perhaps the hotel has controlled them.…
A very nice 5 star establishment the staff are extremely helpful and polite the beds very comfortable the private villa pool was amazing and the villa layout perfect good overall standard 2 minute walk to a long beautiful beach not crowded lots of bars restaurants and massage parlours 5 mins away we will be back take a look you will not be disappointed Chris
We stayed for 3 nights after arriving from our 2 nights in Bangkok. We had a private pool villa, about £125/night. Check-in was smooth and efficient, and we were taken to our room, number 121. The room was lovely! Private gate leading to our 'house' , a small garden and a good size, bigger than plunge pool. Outside shower and sink, 2 sunbeds, 2 chairs, and a table big enough to eat at. The room itself was excellent! Good sized, very comfortable sofa & chairs, big coffee table, big SMART TV, 50 inches that has Netflix, Spotify, apple TV etc - just needing your own log in details!! Big bed, we found it a little firm but very comfy, squishy pillows!! We had a good-sized bathroom with a very good shower and a big bath (didn't use the bath!). We had a massage at the Spa, and it was very good! Couples scrub and massage 90 minutes for less than 2000bt. Breakfast was OK, nothing special. Good selection of Eastern and Western foods, but nothing amazing. The pool area was very nice and the pool was lovely and warm, however, for the size of the hotel there are nowhere enough sunbeds. It was very disappointing not to be able to enjoy the pool. We were told later, by another guest, that you could use the Residents Pool. The pool bar was OK, Happy Hour drinks 5pm-6pm. On 1 night, we had a mega storm, so we stayed inside our room. Thank goodness for a good TV!! We had a lovely evening!! We ordered room service which arrived very quickly and the food was excellent! Chicken burger and green curry!! We had a pizza for lunch, which was also great!! On our last morning we ordered a Floating Breakfast, it was all very good and a bit of fun!! We didn't have it in the pool though!! We said we would have preferred to choose the content rather than having a bit of everything. The location of the hotel, for us, was great. It's next to a national park, the beach is quiet and lovely. There are many, many bars & restaurants within a few minutes' walk. Bikes are available free of charge. Check the brakes!! We would definitely recommend the hotel, we really enjoyed our stay. An afterthought for us was at check-in. We were advised we received free water, WiFi and breakfast. But when we came to pay for our massage we were told we had a massage as part of our package! We then also discovered we had included a floating breakfast and a free mini bar!! We only discovered this the day before check out!! But anyway, we were given everything and we enjoyed it all! We would stay again! …
Lovely resort, great location close to the airport, restaurants and beautiful beach right across the street. Garden view rooms are specious, comfortable and clean. Good breakfast, friendly staff. I loved my stay at Dewa and I would defiantly come back. I highly recommend.
As a returning guest I have noticed the new owners have continued to spend $ where they were needed . Specifically to weatherproof the dining area with the installation of drop down blinds. And for me the renovation of the Pool Villas is particularly pleasing. No longer with an effective outdoor bathroom, now rebuilt inside the Suite directly off the bed where it belongs. With the hotel currently at capacity the staff are coping very well. Special thanks to a few standouts. Jaron Aon and Auey. More than happy to rebook for future visits while I get a good clean room, good service and a 5 minute drive to the Airport . Which takes away the stress of getting through the high season traffic from the tourists destinations south of the Airport. A perfect fit for my needs.
