Staff were excellent and really went out of their way to help and resolve any issues immediately. All of the hotel personnel were extremely friendly and welcoming and made the extra effort during the Songkran holiday, including but not limited to Khun Bumbin, Khun Day, and Khun Dan. I will be returning to Phuket in a few weeks for the Marathon and will certainly look to add a few more days to my trip and stay again at Chanalai Garden Hotel. The location of the property was excellent too, both for the beach, shops, restaurants and massage places nearby.

We are staying at Chanalai Garden Resort for 3 weeks. The property offers a great quality/value combination. As always in my reviews I will go through pros and cons sides of our experience. Before I start I want to express my deep appreciation to Nittaya Srichay - General Manager of this property. Nittaya was working hard to make our vacation as confortable as possible, from changing rooms to a larger and newer, to complimentary high tea. PROS - Excellent location close to shops, restaurant in front of the beach - Very nice rooms - Attentive staff - Free parking for cars and motobikes - Two large seimming pools with options between deep (adult) pool with large whirlpool area and huge family pool with waterfall - Decent (for 200 thai baht) breakfast - Breathtaking sea views from rooms and pools CONS - Thailand was shut down for nearly 2 years because of covid. That is provably a reason why sone rooms need heavy maintaince - leaked showers, unvisible tv channels, faulty air conditioners. We asked to move to a newer rooms (renovated in 2018). After such a long time unoperational in humid clinate, many rooms will require renovation - a lot of water in general areas when raining - a breakfast could be a bit better with fresh orange juice and better quality pastry - elevators are not air conditioned with humidity and odours Overall, we are happy with our stay at Chanalai Garden Resort and will be delighted to return…

Great stay - Day June and Dan were very helpful and the location here is superb. I would recommend this to anyone looking for somewhere quite peaceful and close to the sea. Hotel is clean and the staff are very friendly, restaurants close by along the beach are great too

Pleasant stay Very calm place We booked a sea view facing room and it sure was the best thing about this hotel The only issue was that it was quite a climb to reach the sea view facing rooms We got an early check in that really helped Also we had an exceptionally early check out, staff ‘Prem’ arranged packed breakfast for us which was also quite helpful Pool side and Pool bar are very good The view from the pool deck is beautiful Very good access to Kata beach Breakfast had a wide variety, fresh tropical fruits and favoured yogurt were awesome.
