Popa Paradise is an Adults-Only (18+) beach hotel located on a stunning island called Isla Popa in the Bocas del Toro archipelago, off the Panamanian coast in the Caribbean Sea. We are located about 30 minutes away from Bocas del Toro by boat. Stay with us for an unforgettable vacation where you can relax, snorkel in beautiful clear water and visit the amazing outer islands. Our chef creates a spectacular, tasty, unique and healthy menu and can cater to vegetarians and vegans, which is all included in our all inclusive rate. We have a large range of activities and excursions from diving, fishing, zip lines to the spectacular Zapatilla islands marine park or simply relax by our swimming pool and enjoy a Popa Paradise cocktail at our swim up bar, enjoy a massage in the spa or take a walk on one of our stunning beaches. Our new beach bar and restaurant "Rosie's" is great for cool drinks on the beach all day and at night beach BBQs, bonfires, and occasionally live music under the stars. Our dedicated team of professionals will take care of your every need and ensure you have a memorable stay at our boutique resort. We look forward to meeting you at Popa Paradise - barefoot luxury!

Super relaxing, yet not your average beach getaway. No need to save beach spots in the morning, no crowds anywhere we went. You are surrounding by beautiful scenery. You can take tours by boat or spend your days at the pool or on the private beach. We enjoyed meeting the other

My wife, my adult daughters and I spent four days at Popa Paradise Beach Resort over Christmas and really enjoyed our time there. The resort is at least 30 minutes by boat from Bocas town, so while you are staying here, you are very dependent on what the resort has to offer.

Many thanks for your visit and for your detailed review, which will be a great help to those considering a visit to our island. In particular, it is very helpful to point out our location on Isla Popa, one of the largest and most distant (from Bocas Town) in the Archipelago. We can usually get to the popular spots in our area (Zapatillas, Cayo Coral, Dolphin Bay etc) before the crowds arrive from Bocas Town... on the other hand, certain popular destinations (Bluff Beach, Bird Island etc) are better launched from Isla Colon. We hope to see you again, Vince, on behalf of the Popa team

A great place to relax in an incredible location and a "feel at home" vibe. The staff and owners were extremely nice and welcoming. On New Year, we had the pleasure to have our own firework on the beach. We spend all day at the pool and the private beach. With few rooms, Popa

We are very happy that you found Popa Paradise to be to your liking, and that you have shared your impressions. It can be hard work when our 17 rooms are nearly full, as was the case on New Year's Eve, but it is always worth the effort when we know we have created a unique and memorable experience for our guests. Hoping to see you again in the future, Vince, for everyone here in Paradise

Spent 5 nights here! Clean, remote, relaxing. Good food, gracious hosts. You are on a small private island, so don't expect to be constantly entertained with electronics and such. The pool is fantastic, very much recommend the snorkeling and Monkey Island tours. My wife and

Pops island is only 30 mins by boat from Bocas Town but feels a world away. The 9 or so bungalows are nicely spread out so you get some real privacy. We were in Casita 6, one of the Ocean view Casitas, and it was just so relaxing listening to the waves and chilling on the

Thank you for this review, and in particular for recognizing chef Renzo's efforts. We take pride in accommodating food restrictions and preferences, and seem to have succeeded over the holidays when we had several guests with special requirements. It is greatly appreciated when our guests inform us in advance of any such needs, so we can stock the kitchen accordingly. Hoping to see you for a return visit, Vince - owner

Hello, I'm sorry to tell you that our hotel is not a good choice for those with mobility issues. While we are happy to provide assistance, getting into and out of the boats requires one to move quickly. Apart from that, all of the rooms are set back from the beach and our sidewalks are steep in places, so I don't think your companion would enjoy it. Best of luck to you. Vince - owner

Hi! We do get quite a bit of rain, no doubt about that; however, October is one of the driest months, with below average rain days and inches. Apart from that, much of the rain here falls at night, so you can have a great sunny afternoon even after getting a downpour overnight or in the early morning. Hope to see you in October!

Hi Richard. The All-Inclusive Fee ($75 pp/pn + 7% tax) includes all meals, snacks and beverages of all types, such as coffee, tea, water, soda, beer, wine and cocktails - in unlimited quantities. Most of our guests take this program, and find it to be a good value. For the light drinkers or those who skip the occasional meal, our a-la-Carte program is a good alternative. We hope to see your group next year. Vince - owner
