The apartment was so clean and new and it had everything what you need: kitchen with all the cooking tools, aircon, nice terrace, washing machine and dryer,…the location is in a nice and quiet area, close to the supermarkets. The pool is also very nice and you can also park in there. I would come back for sure!!
My wife and I stayed for three nights (July & August) and had an absolutely wonderful and peaceful time. The booking and check-in process was straightforward and the reception staff professional, courteous and easy to interact with. We stayed in Unit 7 which was super clean, modern, spacious including quite a large balcony. This unit contains all the requirements you would need for an extended holiday and is nice and bright with plenty of airflow. The ensuite and main bathroom is spacious and well maintained. We found the location to be ideal - off Gympie Terrace, James Street appears to a quiet street and the distance from the resort the main shopping and eating areas is well within walking distance. Overall a well maintained and managed resort which will have this couple returning on a regular basis.…
This is our third stay at Montpellier, we’ve been coming to Noosa for 10 years, and won’t stay anywhere else now. Why? The staff are so friendly and nothings too much. Lanie is great to deal with making bookings simple and stress free. Other guests always very respectful with noise and great to chat with around the pool. The overall cleanliness of the units and grounds is exceptional. Andrew keeps that perfect pool pristine! During our stay the actual car park and paths were being pressured cleaned! We won’t stop coming here while Lanie and Andrew are in charge.
We spent a week here at the last minute as we had to leave our apartment at the Colonial Resort Noosaville due to a cockroach infestation. When we arrived at mont pellier we found the apartment was a good size, air conditioning worked well in the living area, none in the bedrooms. Kitchen was well stocked. Internet was ok and Foxtel channels worked fine most of our stay. The pool is pleasant but not huge. The stairs to the apartments were very slippery when wet. It rained a few times and wet tiles were unavoidable but some heavy duty mats in the stair landings may have reduced the hazard. Our unit looked out at everyone at the pool and they looked directly in so better blockout blinds would be helpful. We had the pool pump/utility room directly underneath our room so every minute we were hearing noises from it. The beds were ok but due for replacement especially the single beds, lots of dust/grime and some random rubbish items left in drawers and under the single bed. The window luvres in the 2nd bedroom had mould around the frames which we cleaned. The common areas of the apartments, deck chairs at the pool, stairwells etc all need a good spring clean. Mould appearing around some areas of rims of the pool and spa. This all definitely effects the feel of the accommodation in a negative way when your there. The staff were pleasant and overall the apartment is ok but I wouldn’t say it is currently 4.5 star luxury as advertised. It is located so close to cafes and the river and a short drive to the shopping centre with Woolworths, butcher, bakery.…
1st class resort apartments that sleep at least 4 , a home away from home as there furnished really well , fantastic pool And spa area plus close to all local bars and restaurants plus Noosa’s river where you can take the ferry to Noosa beech giving you something for all .
We have been on holiday from UK, originally planning to do a road trip from Sydney up to Adelaide to see family.. we had to unfortunately change our plans due the the bush fires in the areas we had planned to travel too. We had visited Noosaville before and love me the laid back and chilled feel about the area. We came across Montpellier boutique resort and it looked amazing and it was a really reasonable price. We stayed here for the remaining 10 days of our trip, I can honestly say myself and hubby were not disappointed. The apartment was gorgeous had everything you could need and the furniture and bed was really comfy. The apartment was fully equipped with washer dryer and even a dishwasher. Shops all local for shopping for supply’s too, even though the complex did leave us some complimentary washing up liquid and dishwasher tablets which was a nice surprise until we had chance to go and buy what we needed. The pool was a god send in the heat was lovely going in for a dip and a cool off it was clean in and around the pool area.. nice bbq area under shade in the pool area to use if you want too. Pool is in 3 sections large deeper pool and small children’s pool and a jacuzzi that was working nicely. Reception staff were really friendly and were there during the day, and there is a phone number to ring if required when it isn’t manned, although we didn’t require to ring for anything. Sit on your balcony and watch the bats flying from tree to tree in the evening, they are huge, also the birds may wake you up in the morning especially if you are a light sleeper and are sleeping in the master bedroom that is near the balcony there is a vent window that doesn’t have glass on it.. you close the vents which are like blinds. We have had an amazing relaxing 10 days spent here couldn’t ask for better feeling refreshed and recharged, just sad to have to leave to go home, but we will definitely come back here in the future. I would definitely recommend staying here.. the only thing I will say that if anyone needs wheelchair access it wouldn’t be suitable as there is no lift to the apartments, the apartments are on the 1 and second floor. There is parking on site which is underneath the apartments. …
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here, and although the Hastings street is the main strip of Noosa we found this hotel and Noosaville was a far better location. Right on the River with lovely views, very quiet, with numerous restaurants, shops but an easy 7 minute journey by bus right outside the resort to Hastings Street. The 2 bedroom accommodation was beautifully clean, light and bright, with a kitchen with everything you need if you chose to make your own meals. A lovely balcony looking onto the pool with pristine gardens. The pool included three sections - one for swimming, a shallow section for toddlers and for sitting in, and a heated jacuzzi. Just divine. Two minor things we didn't like was that the reception area was often closed if you assistance, and there was no washing powder provided, even though the apartment had a washing machine. Also there was no lift and so we had to lug three suitcases up and down three flights of stairs. Aside from this, highly recommend. Don't think the accommodation could have been much better :)…
The resort is in a great location in Noosaville close to shops, cafes and eateries. The gardens are well manicured and kept and generally the grounds are in good condition. Some of the concreted areas were dirty and needed cleaning including around the pool area. The pool and BBQ areas are in good condition but are in need of some cleaning also but the cooking surfaces are clean suitable for the cooking of food. The stair wells were not cleaned once during our 9 night stay and were filthy dirty by the end of our stay especially when it rained the stairs and landings were wet and slippery. The rooms were well presented and the furniture was in good condition. Disappointingly, the rooms weren't cleaned mid-stay only the linen was changed so we had to purchase cleaning materials to do toilets and vanities. This was the second time we've stayed at Montpellier this time with new property managers. The property has definitely deteriorated over 2 years and the resort is just not the same place to stay. The resort has also been painted white and has lost the Mediterranean feel it used to have. Over all it's a comfortable resort but is looking and feeling aged. …
Love this place. The apartments are all 2-bedroomed with a good size lounge / dining / kitchen area. The master bedroom had en-suite with an additional bathroom complete with washer & drier which was most welcome as I was on a long trip with multiple locations. Second bedroom had twin singles. The very helpful lady on the desk even found me a packet of soap powder left by another guest. Pool was a decent size but a bit disappointed that the jacuzzi bubbles wasn’t working (still warm though). Handy for shops & restaurants ... all within easy walking distance. I’ll be back.
Noosa over Xmas new year is expensive. You could fund an overseas trip to Europe almost for the same price. So we decided to stay in Noosaville and ate out all week at the best restaurants. Clearly a compromise as this place is 35 mins from Hastings by foot however having said that the walk was lovely and easy, the accomodation was nice super comfortable and airy and right in the foodies area of Noosaville with amazing restaurants a short stroll away. I liked it , kids loved it. Hubby thought it was value for money. There is no safe though and the bats 🦇 can be noisy but overall this was extremely enjoyable. Pool very pretty too. Definitely would stay again if looking to do Noosa on a more reasonable budget in peak season.
