Detailed Reviews
It was with great pleasure to visit Abelonas this difficult year for moving and having vacation. The family owned hotel not only made us feel like home but they have taken every safety/hygiene measure possible to ensure that their customers could relax and spend their precious free time without problems. Maritina was extremely helpful at the reception and arranged everything for us (transfer to/from airport , sightseeing and restaurant reservations) The hotel is perfectly situated next to the beaches not far away from the airport and Fyra ,whereas the small village of Megachalori is absolutely gorgeous and a must for visiting. Santorini was completely different without being overcrowded and I must admit that we really enjoyed it this time! Not to say that the cost of our total stay was quite affordable comparing the usual rates of the island. I would definitely recommend Abelonas Village! Thank you for making us feel so special!

The place is very charming, we were impressed by the accuracy of how our room would look like. It even felt spacious to us, it was very comfortable, the bathroom was a bit small but you can see that on the photos and so this was ok for us. The room was cleaned every day which was fantastic, the receptionists and owners were suuuper helpful and nice - they helped us rent a car, go on a boat trip adventure, they even prepared our breakfast so we can take it on the boat. The breakfast for 1 could feed two people, it was delicious and it is definitely worth trying it. The pool area was also beautiful, peaceful, the hotel was generally super quiet and we could rest so much easier after busy days exploring the island. Huge thank you for the great people who work at and run the place - you guys are fantastic, hope we could meet again :)

What can I say about Abelanos Studios, the best place I have stayed in a long time!!! The family that own the hotel are really nice people, they will do anything to make you feel like home, the hotel it's so beautiful, you have a pool to swim and a jacuzzi tub to relax, my room was really beautiful and with a big terrace to chill out in the evenings, the room was cleaned every day and the sheets and towels as well.I felt so safe and welcome. The bus it's just out of the hotel on the main road and it takes 10-15 minutes to Thira and 10 minutes to Perissa. Gianna the owner and her daughter's they are really, really nice, they did everything to help me with all I needed. They sorted out a rent car for me at a very good price and give me tips where to go and see nice places, they organise for me a full day excursion which was really nice. I really have to thank them for all they did for me!!! I really recommend this hotel and if it is too come back in Santorini than this will be my home.

It is amazing - everything. I would have loved to have a 10 grader to give to this location. We felt wonderful and welcomed, the hosts- Yianna and her husband- are the best people I met on the island. They are very attentive to their guests, also providing information about the places to visit even by foot or by car, cleaning service each day and coffee for the morning. We highly recommend this location.
The place is near a bus stop, near a winnery, near to the cliffs from where you can see another sunset, amazing garden, pool and jacuzzi. In my opinion the best place value for the money.
Thank you so much!

Lovely gem of a hotel had everything we wanted. Rooms are cleaned daily with fresh towels and sheets, the room had a big double bed, not 2 singles put together like other places we have visited. There was a fridge, kettle with tea, coffee milk etc, topped up daily, also a tv and tolities. Water pressure in shower was great. It has a pool and separate jacuzzi. Both spotless, plenty of sun loungers and umbrellas never too busy, nice and chilled relaxing vibe throughout the hotel. There is a bar and breakfast area (at a small cost) in the reception area. Plenty of car park space but we used buses to get round the island. Bus stops are just outside the hotel, they will give you a timetable if you ask. 10mins to fira bus station there you can catch all buses to everywhere on the island. Costs on average 2euros. And they are regular and great. Great location and friendly staff. Outstanding thankyou abelonas village.

Abelonas Village is a beautiful place with comfortable and clean rooms, great swimming pool and very kind staff. It is located close to Megalochori, a traditional Greek village. It is located also close to the bus stop. Unfortunately the reception is not always open so in order to checkin late in the night we had to pay the transfer that is a bit more expensive that the taxi.
We much appreciated a nice present from the staff at the end of our stay. We suggest Abelonas Village!

Had such a great stay at Abelonas. The whole place is spotless and the room was very comfortable. Daily servicing was excellent so we always had clean towels and a tidy room. The bus stop is right outside the hotel so getting around was very easy and when we wanted to hire a scooter Marintina organised it to be dropped off and picked up at the hotel, very convenient.
The pool is a huge plus too, getting back from a day at the beach and being able to have a nice swim is really great. We had a lovely stay there and would recommend it to anyone

We spent a week in Santorini, in this truly beautiful property, which made our holiday even more pleasant. The location is excellent, five minutes by scooter from the beaches of Kamari and Perissa, and ten minutes from Fira. The rooms are comfortable, the pool is beautiful and the property is comfortable and quiet, full of vegetation, ideal for a relaxing holiday. Furthermore, it is located a stone's throw from the village of Megalochori, where you can spend your evenings pleasantly without suffering the chaos of the more crowded centres.
Greetings and sincere thanks from me and my wife to the entire staff and in particular to the friendly Gianna, always attentive to our every need, right from the beginning.

We had a great holiday there last week. The rooms were spotless, modern and cleaned every day. It's a compact set of apartments but all well spaced to give everyone privacy and most have good views of either the pools or the surroundings.
Gianna and Nikos in particular were so friendly and helpful with nothing being too much trouble.
Great base, especially if you have a car or can use the bus to visit nearby shops or other resorts. Nothing on the island is more than 20 mins away by car.
The pools were so quiet it felt like we had a private villa!!!
Excellent value for money.

The hotel is at the side of the famous caldera (you have steep cliffs at that side of the island, no beach).
The red beach is closest, this is 5,5km (at the other side of the island).
Check for Santorini beaches for more info.
I think, in general, the beaches are not very large on Santorini. We only visited the Red Beach and it's very crowded.
Apart from the beaches, we liked Santorini very much!
