Stayed in a 2 bed 3 bath villa for a week as soon as the air bridge opened (very spontaneous trip), looked this accommodation due to great price. So happy that we did, villa was immaculate and modern with 2 terraces can gladly say both of them were used daily. Kitchen was useful for lunch back at the villa very convenient with the mini mart on site! Would recommend a car if staying here don't know what we would have done without it, beach is too far to walk and most restaurants aren't either accessible without a car. Pool area was good however did get busy later on in the day. We did find that there was lots of birds mess around the pool and 4 days running the cleaner still hadn't noticed despite walking around many times. With the current situation I feel that the beds (around the pool) should have been cleaned or disinfected what was the point in the lifeguard having a spray if he wasn't ever going to use it? Did also find that they were not happy to replace your blue towels so try and keep them clean to avoid this. Was good to see however that they were testing your temperature on arrival at the gates every time. Overall was very happy with the stay and if ever back in the Algarve will sure pick this spot. Some of my restaurant recommendations were The cheeky pup and for sure check out Il Vero (one of the most breathtaking views).

Dear Alexandragfkelly, Firstly I am very pleased to hear that you thought it perfect and that you were so happy to have booked your stay with us and would certainly pick us again if you were back in this area and also that you were very happy with the price and the facilities. We do recommend that guests have a car and work closely with our car hire partner VDL. However, VDL also provide a luxury transfer service from the airport to the club and to restaurants in the local area at very competitive prices so we do have guests who don’t book a car. It depends a little on what you want to do. VDL also provide bikes for hire which can be rented for days or for just a few hours. As regards the beach it is about a 40 minute walk away but we do have a free shuttle service that runs through the day. The issues of Covid-19 have meant that we have had to reduce the service slightly but it still operates regularly. As regards the pool area I have shared your comments with our housekeeper and with the pool team and we will increase our vigilance if necessary but I have to say that we have a team from the housekeeping department that go to the pool area at 7.30 each morning to prepare everything for the day. We have also doubled our cleaning staff responsible for the public areas of the club, including the pool area, and I and the rest of my management team are also keeping a close eye on everything. I certainly have observed the lifeguards and the cleaners spraying the beds to disinfect them when guests have finished using them and before they are used again, as per the procedures that we have in place and would have called their attention to that very quickly if it was not happening. Mattress covers are also removed and washed on a very regular basis. Blue pool towels we have plenty so I don’t understand what happened there or how often you might have wanted to change them but the stock is maintained all day. Up until now I had received very positive feedback on the measures we have been taking but I appreciate as well your feedback, which helps us to ensure that everything is the best that it can be in these most difficult of times. This was our first visit and we stayed in a two bedroom villa. It was lovely. The views from the terrace were over the most beautiful driving range that I have ever seen. Everything in the accommodation was high quality and it has been very smartly renovated. The rooms were big, the bed huge, the showers powerful and spacious. The kitchen has everything you could want including a small amount of washing up liquid and dishwasher tablets. We made regular visits to Apolonia supermarket which is a 15 minute drive and made the most of the lovely views both in the evenings and at lunch time. Lovely walks all around the area and really enjoyed looking at the jaw dropping villas in the area! The pool area was regularly disinfected if anyone vacated their sun bed and masks must be worn around the reception/bar area. All in all a lovely place that we would highly recommend.

We have been visiting Four Seasons Country Club for 15 years, as usual our stay was superb. The villa is excellent, immaculate, comfortable and well equipped. We eat in the pool side restaurant on 3 occasions and couldn’t fault the service, food and location. We swam in both the indoor and outdoor pools which are kept in excellent condition with plenty of sun loungers and towels available for everyone. We will definitely return next year and can’t recommend the club enough.

Returning after 18 months of not being able to travel it was a pleasure to walk into reception and be welcomed back the lovely friendly Staff. And also repeated in the Bar and Restaurant. Having been a visitors since 1986 with my parents I recently purchased a week in December to coincide with my birthday. FSCC does not disappoint and my wife and two children aged 17 and 5 loved it. House was immaculate and daily maid service much appreciated. Grounds immaculate and service was first class. Teresa and colleagues at lunch amazing, evening staff awesome and food brilliant. 15 euros for three course set lunch by the pool was incredible value and similar in a la carte. (Was about 30 eyries in evening and our 5 year old had same for about 8 euros). Club has maintained and improved every time we come and we are looking at buying more weeks throughout the year.

The first time we came to FSCC was in 1986 with our small children, it was a great holiday in a perfect holiday setting. This year we are back again, in between we also came many times, with our children and grandchildren and neat-less to say the resort is still an absolute number one. The refurbishments have been done with style and good tast, many of the staff have been here for many years although competition must have been strong judging from the many resorts now compared to what was available in 1986. The restaurant is of a very high standard and reasonable priced, selection of wine good. Pool facilities are great and, perhaps sad to say, not very busy which we liked very much. Having said that, yes in summer it can be rather crowded but that only means that people like to spend their time here. The garden is a delight for the eyes, a truly example of Portuguese style and finesse. We felt save during our stay, actions to monitor possible Covid-19 were well in place, an example for the industry. In short, well done Ian and your staff, you make a holiday in FSCC a great experience.

We have been visiting Four Seasons Country Club for 31 years. Throughout this time the standard of the Club in every aspect has been first class. Many of the staff have been there throughout this period and are delightful. Fortunately the newer ones are equally pleasant and helpful. On arrival we are greeted as old friends. The standard of decor, both in the villas and clubhouse has been maintained to a very high standard, as are the extensive gardens. The clubhouse area is a most convivial gathering place at anytime of day, also the outdoor pool area and outdoor restaurants, where the salads are to die for. When we bought it in 1989 we imagined we would keep it for about ten years. None of our three children were married then but now their fairly grown up children are joining us and loving it.

We just spent 3 weeks in the Four Seasons and we were so impressed by the way the staff are handling the difficult conditions during this Pandemic. We were apprehensive about travelling, but when we arrived in the sanctuary of the Four Seasons we felt incredibly safe. All the Staff were so careful and fully observed all the regulations. Even though it was much quieter, we still had a lovely holiday and enjoyed all the wonderful lunches by the pool and super dinners at night. Some nights we had a takeaway in our Villa and even the quality of the takeaways is of the highest standard. It never ceases to amaze us how the Four Seasons keeps up the standards year after year and full credit must go to Ian Pugsly and his wonderful Staff.

As always standards throughout Four Seasons are excellent. Used the restaurant more than in past visits and was very impressed with the high standard achieved at every meal we enjoyed there. After a three year forced gap I was delighted with newly interior designed villas in particular with the new bathrooms. As always these visits are over far too quickly. Look forward to next year.

Having transport will allow you to explore the Algarve at your leisure. The beaches east or west of Quinta do lago are very different, I am unable to use website links here however some of the popular beaches are Praia de Albandeira, Praia do Anção, Praia do Amoreira, Praia do Barril, Praia da Marinha amongst many more. Dear bstnpblc,
When using the Restaurant during the winter months 1st October until 31st March we ask that all guests adhere to the minimum dress code of "smart casual". Shirts should be with a collar, shorts, vests, t-shirts, trainers or sandals are not appropriate. This is relaxed during the hotter summer period 1st April until 30th September when smart shorts and t-shirts are acceptable.

Yes, indeed, you will be able to have a massage and various other treatments. Also, there is a steam room, indoor jacuzzi etc, as other people have mentioned.
My Daughter in law had a massage and a couple of treatments when we stayed in September and She said it was great.
There are more places to choose from in the Quinta do Lago area.
