Alkyon Hotel is an apartment complex built in the traditional fishing village of Lygia, on the island of Lefkas. It consists of 6 studio apartments, 8 two-room apartments and 2 separate three-storey houses. Each studio/apartment/house has its own style and is decorated with handmade furnishings, wooden ceilings and has spacious balconies. Alkyon can accommodate up to 50 people. The resort is located 90 metres from the sea and 60 metres from the provincial road (leading from Lefkas to Nidri) and 700 metres from the fishing port of lygia. The distance from Alkyon Hotel to Lefkas Town is 6 km, to Nidri 10 km and to Preveza airport 26km. Alkyon comprises 4 other buildings besides the reception. The different buildings are called Kirki, Kalypso, Aiolos and Apollon, names deriving from Greek Mythology.

A cozy, compact complex of spacious appointments surrounding a pool. Good beds and modern showers. Kitchenette with cutlery, electric cooking plates, electric kettle, coffee maker and grilled cheese iron. Delightful owner (who gave us some delicious homemade marmalade upon arrival). The bar was still closed when we were there, but there is a bakery, some coffee bars, tavernas and a supermarket nearby (walking distance). Scooter rental on site. Don't forget to cross the main street and go up the mountain to Katouna for dinner at Kollokas tavern!

Exceptional place! Everything was perfect & fantastic ! Nice place full of charm to rest. Lovely people with good advices. Rooms are clean every day. Nice restaurants and wonderfull beaches around. To be tested absolutly !

Had a mid/late Sept week at the apartments (it was almost B&B due to the lovely gifts of food & drinks) and we cannot rate it highly enough. Comfortable beds, rooms are kept very clean, very nice bathroom & shower, idyllic pool & gardens. But more than that - beautiful people, who know just how to balance keeping guests happy but letting them chill and enjoy their time. We walked an hour in both directions - once into Lefkada and once down to a quieter little village (mainly on roads but nice views of the sea). Both very do’able if you’re mobile. Also used the local buses and hired a car to see the west coast beaches on one day. We swam quite a lot in the sea near the apts - which was chilly but bliss (pebbly beach) . Numerous local tavernas within an easy stroll for dinner. We tried about 6 of them - all good. In summary - an ideal base for a week of true Greece hospitality and some R&R. Just go !! We will def return.…

Fabulous hotel, with wonderful hosts. Spotlessly clean, and nothing was too much trouble. Tasia was so kind throughout our stay, we felt completely at home. Chris was very helpful and friendly. The ladies who cleaned the rooms were really pleasant and did an incredible job every morning. We would walk to the bakery, and when we returned the whole place had been cleaned and the bedding and towels refreshed. Everyone at Alkyon has a smile on there face, as the atmosphere is so relaxed.

We started with a very friendly welcome with the BEST pumpkin pie! Our room was spacious and very clean.A welcome tosti and drinks in the refrigerator, very nice! Rooms are cleaned every day and linen and towels changed every other day!! The rooms, pool and garden are all well maintained. A supermarket nearby and many restaurants on walking distance.

A wonderfull quiet place, near to the beach and restaurants. A nice pool with bar, clean rooms and a beautyfull garden. A great host who will help you with everyting you need. Just go and see for yourself, you’ll not be disapointed! We loved it❤️

I highly recommend this hotel. The hospitality is exceptional. The rooms are well decorated, comfortable, and exceptionally clean. The pool is beautiful. The hotel is peaceful and relaxing. Again, I highly recommend staying here when visiting Lefkada.

Everything was excellent. Very welcoming hosts. The garden and all the facility has a personal touch of the hosts. Very very well maintained and clean. The rooms were cleaned every day. Location was excellent for us. Far from the noise but close enough to restaurants, markets etc. Highly recommended.

All recommendations for the best hotel and the best team, amazing Thassia, Chris and Georgia. They are so polite, caring and helpful and made us feel like we were at home. They put energy and love into every detail in the hotel. Heartwarming welcome, valuable suggestions about the beaches and restaurants, homemade jam and cake, smiling and warm faces, very comfortable and clean apartment, beautiful garden with swimming pool, free bicycles and possibility to rent a scooter or a car, mosquito nets on a balcony, apartment cleaned every day by very friendly staff, the sheets and towels were changed every 2 days, market, bakery and restaurants are close by, just as the beach/sea front… We felt carefree and happy every day at Alkyon hotel and if we decide to visit Lefkada again, we know withaut a doubt where we will stay 😊 Danilo, Nina and Danijela…
