We stayed here for 2 weeks arriving 29 August. We arrived about 10.30pm & were greeted with a much needed beer & smiles from the owners. Those smiles never left their faces no matter what time of day or night you saw them.
Our studio apartment was on the second floor overlooking the bar/pool area & we had a huge balcony. The block of apartments on the other side of the pool have had a refurb and hopefully the rest will follow. The furnishings in our apartment were traditional but the apartment was spotless & we had the bed made everyday with clean towels/bedding as needed. I asked for a kettle and more coat hangers which were provided immediately. A toaster would have been nice but the breakfast provided for €15 per room was plentiful, homemade and traditional. We only had breakfast on the first morning but this was only because we prefer a simple coffee & pastry.
Lygia Is about a 10 minute walk either on the road or by the waters edge. It is very quiet so we hired a car for 10 days and spent each day visiting villages/towns & finding the best beaches. Nidri has lovely harbour bars & restaurants so we tended to go there or into Lefkada every night, returning to villa Olga about 10.30 where we would have a drink in their bar or on our balcony.
I cannot fault the owners at Villa Olga enough and can understand why people return year after year.

Villa Olga is the best place on the island to stay. It has a variety of rooms available and is situated on a peaceful and quiet location very close to the city of Lefkada.

The owners are very, very friendly, speak more than one language and are always willing to help you in any way they can.
They also have some great tips and connections on the island for fun trips and good food.

Villa Olga is a place to rest, swim, dance, eat and have amazing conversations.

I always thought seeing into the future wasn't possible but since my last visit here I know I will return for sure!

My partner and I stayed only for one week, the first week in september and didn't want to leave. This is one of my favourite little places I have stayed, so clean and the gardens are beautifully kept by the wonderful cleaning ladies. Its style is eclectic with little nooks and crannies to retreat to for peace and quiet. The beautiful pool surrounded by banana plants makes it feel tropical almost caribbean style. The nature reserve over the front of the hotel has hammocks and swings to laze and read, surrounded by the sound of nature. We were so well looked after and the family are genuinely warm and hospitable. The breakfasts are fresh, plentiful and if you want evening food you get home cooked just let the girls anthoula or nadia know. We had 2 very delish evening meals at the hotel, the portions are so generous. The family help you with places to visit and recommend restaraunts nearby. The hotel is in an ideal location, not in the hustle and bustle of lefkada town but close enough with bus service at the end of the road. We visited some gawguss places with the use of car hire from ionian car rentals. Some trips to the bigger beaches were hairpin routes but if you are conscious of the roads and take your time very worth visiting. Lefkada is a little jewel of a place and villa olga and the family team made our stay wonderful thank you I think we shall re visit bev and mario x

We went to Lefkada in Aug 2020 during the busiest weekend of the summer, but we were lucky enough to catch the last 2 available rooms in Villa Olga. Our stay was awesome, and our lovely hosts made it even more enjoyable by catering to all our fussy needs.
Being two families with kids, the rooms felt small at first and a bit dated, looked like they could use a fresh touch. But Nadia assured us she will offer larger rooms as soon as the busy weekend would be over and one would become available and so she did!
The Villa is very welcoming, with nice outdoor areas where you can spend the hot sun hours even in large groups. The hammock area right in front of the villa is amazing, always breezy and nice to hang around. A nice, quiet beach is steps away from the villa and being out of the beaten path it never gets crowded.
Villa Olga is the type of small business full of character, where the people who manage it put in all their heart and soul to make you feel welcome and at home. Breakfast is absolutely amazing, with almost everything being homemade and a variety of traditional pastries being cooked on spot! I could not get enough!
Nadia & the team there when out of their way to help us with reservations at amazing restaurants at very busy hours at the very last minute and arranged for best kind of olive oil to be delivered for us to the villa so we could take back with us on our last day.
Will definitely come back if ever in Lefkada again, it ticks all the boxes for us for a memorable vacation!

This is our second vacation here at Villa Olga and we feel like home. The location is very relaxing, newly renovated, in pastel colors, specifically Greek. Breakfast is varied and tasty, specially prepared by the hosts. The location has several benefits and I'm only naming few:
1. It is close to the island's capital, Lefkada Town, the most beautiful town on the island (about 6 minutes by car).
2. It is located very close to taverns recommended by locals where you can enjoy delicious dinners by the sea
3. It is very close to the main port, Nydri (10-12 minutes), from where you can rent boats or go on organized sea trips.
4. If you want to take a break from the seaside or the sea is rough, you can spend the day at the wonderful pool, in peace with a cocktail, a fresh fruit salad or an ice cream.
5. The hosts can provide you with the other meals of the day, and from the hotel bar you can order various drinks and ice cream.
6. The rooms are cleaned daily, and the rooms are equipped with everything you need, so that your stay is as pleasant as possible.
We will definitely be back soon!

This is the most amazing place to visit , as with other reviews I must mention the owners Nantia , Antoulia , Nectarious and Demetri ,and their staff who are really friendly ,nothing is too much trouble , they ensure the place is always spotless , and always greet you with a smile.
Most of the rooms in the main Villa have been updated with lovely new bathrooms and large modern showers , new king size beds and a basic kitchen , mini cooker , fridge , kettle , crockery and cutlery , if you need anything else they are happy to supply it.
First and second floor rooms have a large balcony most with stunning views of the nature reserve or sea , rooms on the ground floor have outside seating areas.
There is a lovely area in front of the Villa with hammocks and seats looking out at the peaceful nature reserve, a small beach with sun beds is a few hundred yards away
Breakfast is homemade and plentiful , as is the evening specials of traditional Greek fare. They also serve a varied snack menu for lunch for those who want a day off from exploring.
Lots of tavernas in walking distance, a taxi into Lefkada town is not expensive but the bus stops on the main road (two minutes walk )
It really is a very tranquil spot perfect for a relaxing few days away .
The pool area is perfect. , pool is clean and refreshing after a day exploring, with new sun beds to complement those that were there last year.
Along with many other guests who we have met there over the last few years it is somewhere I look forward to revisiting , a perfect place to recharge my batteries .

We had a fabulous week at the Olga Villas in late June thanks to the tireless efforts of the family who run it (Anthulia, Dimitri, Nantia and Nikarious and gramps and grandma): even the children help sometimes! .The rooms are beautiful, well decorated and air conditioned, cleaned every day with clean sheets and towels). the breakfasts are amazing - every day a different Greek dish is served as well as Continental and fruit, but try the homemade Greek yoghurt and honey!). I have always wanted to stay in a small family run Greek taverna or hotel, and with only 20 rooms, Olga Villas did not disappoint. The pool is beautiful too with built in sun beds to dry off on. You are treated so well from the moment you arrive to the day you sadly depart and during your stay, the family are there always to help. Local buses are cheap and punctual, and
I would have loved to explore more, but it was unseasonably very hot! Evening meals are prepared and served by the family, and there are good local restaurants to try too. If you want an amazing boat trip, try the Christina, recommended by the hotel: a beautiful wooden boat owned by a Greek/English couple, 4 swim stops and delicious and plentiful food.
My only criticism would be that there are no steps into the pool, just different gradients, and having some mobility issues, I had to work my way into the cool and inviting pool, but I did it!
I would not hesitate in recommending the Olga Villa hotel, set opposite a natural lagoon and 5mins from a small but stony beach which is very quiet: take your sea shoes, if not the hotel may have a pair in your size which you can borrow.
Villa Olga is really a special quiet place to rest, relax and enjoy your well earned. We had our flight home by EasyJet cancelled during our holiday, but Anthulia, Dimitri were on hand to sort us a room for the extra night, and we got home the following day, so another day and evening in Lefkas! It is a beautiful and unspoilt island with one busy place if you want, Nidri,
We have no hesitation in recommending Villa Olga and their wonderful staff/family. Would love to go back!

Stayed here for a week and was really impressed with the warm welcome we received. The place is a little off the main road near a private pebble beach. The rooms are not massive but sufficient. Beds were good. Didn't really use self catering part but there is a kettle, hob and fridge. We had breakfast a few times which was plentiful and they give u a selection if specials every day we don't eat much for breakfast so was too much food for us so sometimes just went out for coffee and pastry nearby..but would recommend breakfast for others, especially the homemade jams. Pool OT massive but works, just beware the main part is one height and I couldn't touch bottom, there are two shallow bits vy stairs and where three beds in the water are. Bathroom nice newly done with proper shower and full cubicle not curtain....my only slight improvement to make it fabulous would be some finishing touches need attention like area around fridge and entrance into bathroom. Any issues we had quickly fixed. Taxis were called when we needed and there are a few tavernas close by, the others are a walk along main road, or zcross the beach area and around the cove to the marina area. We would recommend here heartily as guests and staff were all super friendly, only thing to be aware of is resort is quite quiet and only a couple of bars which are a longer walk away, we are happy to walk but not everyone is.

What can you say about a hotel that doesn’t feel like a hotel anymore but more like a second home? Even before COVID-19 “arrived” on our planet, I had planned to spend some of my holiday- weeks in that beautiful hotel on that beautiful island with my new greek friends from last year. And as soon as the travel ban was over I booked the first flight to Aktio I could find. Arriving at Villa Olga is like coming home. That beautiful spot in front of Villa Olga where you can relax and chill in different hammocks is the first thing I see when I arrive and I feel relaxed immediately. After a welcome- Frappé I can enter my room. It’s number 3 at the first floor in the main building and it’s lovely. Everything is cosy, clean and beautiful. The balcony is offering a view up the mountains (the back side of Villa Olga) and to the bar area (very useful!). The breakfast is as enormous and tasteful as always and one have to be careful to not gain weight over 14 days. I decided to not give a damn and enjoyed every bite of it. The Greek salad for lunch is made of veggies out of the families own garden and that you can taste for sure. And dinner is cooked by mama Olga and so tasteful that I would like her to be my private cook at home in Germany 😂. Nadja, Anthula, Dimitri and Nektario (owners and managers of that most beautiful spot in Greece) are always smiling and caring and giving all customers a good time anytime! Whenever you enter the Villa they will welcome you (even after a half hour walk or shopping trip 😂) and ask you how your experience outside the Villa was. It’s like a big shared home where everyone is invited to feel comfy and safe. I spent two wonderful weeks there and discovered almost every corner of that island. Most impressive has been the sunset from Exanthia combined with a dinner at Rachi restaurant and a private boat trip with some new friends I met at the Villa Olga. And when I left after two weeks, I knew I had to come back this year. And that’s what I did in September 😇. But that’s another story.

This year I visited Villa Olga with my family. It was the 5th stay at Villa Olga and it was as perfect as the holidays before. Lefkada in general is a very interesting place to visit, with a great city and clean, good looking beaches. The whole place is wonderfully designed, plants everywhere, cozy chill-out areas, hammocks and tables just around the corner at the sea and great rooms. So even if you have no car, you can chill out at the hotel, at the beach nearby or at the pool. There are also good restaurants you can walk to around, or just eat at the hotel. I would also highly recommend the breakfast. It tastes great, includes a buffet and things like omletts and self-made baked goods and is very affordable. Even the Nutella is self-made. The whole staff knows lefkada very well and will recommend the most beautiful beaches and how you can explore lefkada. They are incredibly friendly and kind. They found a room for us very spontaneously, which we are really grateful for. I'm already looking forward to our next stay.

Hello just completed our reservation for the delux suite for 2024 summer. We stayed at this hotel with my partner 10 years ago and last year with our kids in the delux suite. This place is amazing. Don't have second thoughts. Our kids loved the amazing breakfast, food and pool. The delux suite was renovated last year and it is stunning if I am not mistaken the whole hotel was renovated last year. It is on the second floor with nice view overlooking the sea water and the beach nearby. It comes with two big balconies a bedroom and a living room seperate kitchen area and huge deluxe bathroom. I'm absolutely sure you will have a fantastic stay, most of the guests are repeaters our kids made friends with another family and we will be together this year too.
