Eco Beach Hotel & Magic Garden it’s all it says and more. An extremely relaxing beach hotel + so much more! Food that would be at home in starred restaurants presented with modest elegance and accompanied by superb Greek wines. Milia and Leo are wonderful, helpful, unobtrusive hosts! I would , hopefully will, come back here with no hesitation!
You can leave your shoes when you arrive and walk barefoot to the beach ... exceptional! completely in contact with nature! Excellent exterior concept, personalized service with thorough detail. very positive energy that makes one feel at home . the restaurant has a delicious menu and perfect views. the hotel may have non important things that can improve but with the love and effort that Leo and Milia invest there for sure they will achieve perfection very soon. Lizzie was also kind and lovely , all in all made you feel so comfortable and part of the hotel’s family!
Eco beach is not somewhere I would naturally book, and recently I visited here on a work trip - alone & I've never quite felt so at peace. Upon arrival, I was welcomed with a glass of bubbly and told to sit back, relax and rest - this is what Eco Beach is all about. I arrived very late at night, so the complimentary fruit that was left in my room had softened and gone a little bit funny but that didn't bother me! What would've been really nice, would be to have a bottle of water upon arrival as I was left without that evening. ROOM - I was in the double deluxe room with a Seaview. I don't think I would call it 'deluxe' but it was certainly lovely. Beautifully decorated and furnished! I had quite a few ants in my room - nothing worth complaining about, but the pesky little buggers wouldn't go away, and there were no food or anything sweet/sticky lying around! One thing the rooms do not have is any kind of safe to put your valuables in. I very much trust the staff here, but I was still uncomfortable leaving my expensive belongings lying around in the room 4* CLEANLINESS - Upon arrival the room was very clean, there was a small purple stain in my fridge - again nothing to complain about - but the rest of the room was sparkling. Usually towels and bed sheets get changed every 3 days and the maids will come and make your bed daily. Initially, my bed sheets had been changed, but not my towels. I had to request this at reception, but never had a problem after that! 4* STAFF - EVERYBODY is so friendly, welcoming and polite. Always wanting to go the extra mile to make your stay as comfortable as possible! If I could rate the staff higher than 5* I absolutely would FOOD - Breakfast went through a change whilst I was there. Initially you always receive a 'standard', a plate filled with bread, croissants, meats, cheeses, salad, yoghurt & fruit, and a preserve. On top of this you could order a small selection of food from the a la carte menu. Usually egg based, promoting their free-range organic eggs that were pretty delicious. Mid way through my stay, the standard plate was no more and instead turned into a buffet style breakfast. There were some things I loved about it, and other things I missed. The buffet most of the time was exposed to the sun, so be prepared for warm salad and cheese. I LOVED the addition of cereal, and what was great is it felt like less food was wasted due to the fact I only picked up what I wanted to eat. What I really missed from the breakfast buffet was yoghurt. From the 'standard plate' that used to be, I really loved the little bowl of yoghurt and fruits! At the beginning, wasps were a bit of a problem, flying around tables, but I didn't notice them after a few days. I only ate in the evening once and it was divine. The lamb is an absolute MUST try. Breakfast 4* Dinner 5* ENTERTAINMENT - There isn't any resident musicians or performers here (it isn't that kind of resort) however one night after coming back from work, I noticed that they had a saxophonist playing. I believe this happens a couple of times a week and it was really lovely! 4* BEACH - Beautiful crystal clear waters of Rhodes on a pebble beach. Sun beds are free to customers of the Eco Beach hotel and there are plenty of them. Some days it would be really busy, others empty. I liked to wake up, have my breakfast and walk down to the beach as it was super peaceful 5* OVERALL- I would ABSOLUTELY return here to stay for a few more nights. There truly is very little to complain about here and A LOT to praise. Thank you for a lovely 2 week stay at Eco Beach! Giving it a 4* for reasons: - Limited (but tasty) a la carte breakfast - Buffet breakfast missing my favourite item once the 'standard' had been removed - Outdoor dining is fresh and one with nature, but the wasps caused a real problem for the first half of my stay - No safe in the rooms - Towels weren't changed for the first week ALL THE ABOVE are just little things that really don't impact the naturally beautiful Eco Beach & Magic Garden hotel. I was super impressed on arrival with the fairy lights scattered around the garden & I would recommend anyone staying in the south of Rhodes to check out this hotel! P.S I notices after paying my bill on my room and reading my invoice, I had paid for an extra glass of wine that I never had! was charged for 5, but I drank 4!…
Everything was just perfect if you wand to relax, The atmosphere, the food, the stuff and ofcourse the owners. Located in a magical place 50m of the private beach is like the name of the hotel describing a magic garden which includes the restaurant, gym and open air bath. We had dinner when the saxophone was playing and it felt like no one was there with us, the food was very original and tasteful with a modern twist defently the best we had in our stay, all over the island We will defently visit again and highly recommended if you want to experience something different than the usual. All the employees had a passion for what they did and this is showing. Thank you eco beach, thank you Milia, thank you Leo and finally thank you chef for your outstanding performance.
Very much but really liked this place; Comfortable hotel, there were 4 of us in the little house with terrace, 2 bedrooms and kitchen. We cross the lawn, then the outdoor restaurant and here we are on the small pebble beach with deckchairs and squares of foam sheltered from the winds. Very very pleasant welcome; with everyone's sincere smile. Breakfast under the trees and dinner, by reservation, excellent. For the four of us the best of the whole island, with original and tasty dishes, excellent Greek wines. and impeccable service. Well located for visiting the South, quiet, without TV and away from Lindos (certainly beautiful but with its very touristy streets). I recommend spending several days there.
