Good service, clean, decent breakfast - simple but good. 🌞 The owner, Mr Spiros works here all day long together with his family and will help you if you have any questions or what ever. And his mother is a wonderful chef too. Ok room, normal size, fridge, shower, balcony. All the rooms face the swimming pool area, so there can be a little noise + the music from the bar playing from dusk till dawn. But you get used to that. At the same time, that also gives you sea view! πŸ– The area is a bit slow, only very few restaurants and a supermarket or 2. But for some of us, this is exactly what we like. Lucky for you, the sandy beach is just a beer bottle throw away, and it's a really nice beach too. Sunbeds are just € 2,50 a piece, and that includes a beverage of your choice! πŸ‘πŸ˜Ž A big minus when it comes to the breakfast area. This is done outside where smoking is allowed. So unfortunately you might end up in a cloud of smoke whilst downing your breakfast. I ask you please mr Spiros, put up a sign that says no smoking until 10 am! πŸ˜‘πŸ•™πŸšπŸšπŸšπŸš Also, while I'm at it, they allow dogs in this place... πŸ™„ πŸ™‰ Ok, that might be good for 1 % of the population, but really bad for the rest. Time to put this to bed? Dogs don't belong in hotels, they belong in kennels! β›”βŒπŸ• Anyway, if you're a party animal, and this neighborhood is to slow for your taste and you need more action, you can grab a taxi and do the 20 minutes drive to Parga. πŸŽ‰ The breakfast is Greek style = modest but sufficient. Fresh bread, cheese, ham, eggs in 3 ways (boiled, fried and a very nice omelette). πŸ‘ And some cakes and sweets as well. πŸͺ🍰🍩 Later on the day, the breakfast area becomes the restaurant. They got quite a selection, and everything we had was plentiful and tasty. If you order the pizza, bear in mind it's enough for at least 2-3 persons! πŸ‘πŸ•πŸ•πŸ•πŸ΄ Again, a very nice, small hotel, very close to the beach, with a very service minded staff and the Spiros family taking care of you. πŸ˜ŽπŸ– - Leon πŸ‡§πŸ‡» …

The Hotel Spiros is located Perfect Close to the Ocean, I think all rooms have more or less sea view, It was rated as a 3+ hotel and I think that the correct rating. We satyed in a dobble room With great views of the Ocean and the balcony on second floor was large and Perfect.Bathroom was ok, Bed a litle to small for two sisters. The owner Spiros With wife and Family was very good hosts. service was great. The thing that was not so good was the noise,First nigt we hardly slept cos of a little cat crying all nigt. the NeXT Nights were dogs barking almost every night. some some reason we heard the dogs better than other guests,(location of room?).Pool is small but clean and ok,

We went to Ammoudia for a short Greek vacation. We decided to stay at the Hotel Spiros. Located on the northern end of town we were pleasantly surprised by the establishment. Stay here was a pleasure. Most (if not all) rooms have an ocean view. The beach was less than 2 minutes’ walk from the hotel. We stayed in room 1 which could hold 4 people, though there were 3 of us. It was nice in that the room had a large (for Europe) refrigerator with freezer. The Air conditioning was good and the Wi-Fi was barely adequate. There were plenty of Tavernas/Restaurants nearby as well as a supermarket. The Hotel Spiros’ own restaurant was very good. We enjoyed eating there. Prices for everything were very reasonable. We would, certainly, return to stay here on our next visit to Ammoudia.

Spiros and his family are very nice people. There was a problem with my air conditioner which he fixed immediately. He speaks German, English and even a little bit bulgarian. We were very pleased with the hotel - clean and very close to the beach. Bring mosquito repellent, because there is a huge swamp nearby the village.

This is a family run Greek hospitality hotel by the beach and the historically famous river of Acheron where souls traveled to Hades. Spiros and his wife Aliki run the hotel while the mother cooks and the father supplies the ingredients fresh from his farm. What else? A word of caution take mosquito repellent, the area is popular with them.

Let me start with the "by far the best location in town". Situated on the beach this hotel will surprise you with its quality. Spacy and clean, family run hotel. Very quiet area, perfect view, a 3 min walk from the center and all the taverns. If you are looking for white sandy beaches, relaxation and authentic experience this is your place. The staff if friendly. Every room has tv set and AC, WIFI is also available. Two swimming pools one for adults and one for children. Breakfast, lunch and dinner is included in the price. If i have to be fair you shoul also try the tavents near the center of Ammoudia. Perfect Value for money.

We stayed at Spiros hotel for a week in July 2013. We had a three-beds room, although we were just two of us. The room was spacious, probably recently renovated. We had a large bathroom - not the 1 sq m you get in Italy or France, but a really comfortable one. They changed the towels every day and the sheets every third day. The room was cleaned daily. We had FB, and not counting the breakfast, which was one and the same all the days, all the other meals were delicious - Spiros's mom is the cook! They gave us freshly baked bread with all the meals, fresh salad and typical Greek entries for lunch and dinner. The lunch menu was fixed, but you could choose between two main courses for dinner, when they served a dessert, too. I highly recommend this hotel to people who love quiet holidays and cheap good food.…

We spent a week in the middle of July in a 2 bedroom apartment. Being a family of 5 with a 15 months little girl that was by far the best choice. Each room came with a separate TV set and an air-condition unit. Wi-Fi was also available but unfortunately with limited coverage. There were 2 swimming pools; the one especially for infants made things easier; the other one deep enough for the rest of the family. Breakfast and lunch (or dinner) were inclusive in the price. Breakfast was simple, lunch portions were decent and well cooked with a choice between two plates (they even asked you at the beginning of each day what you would like to eat…..). Beach was just 200m away from the hotel while there were plenty of choices to eat in nearby local restaurants. Owners (Spyros and Aliki) were always near to assist. To conclude β€œHotel Spyros” is ideal for family vacations and breaks; it is quiet, clean and cozy with an excellent value for money. We shall have it on top of our list for a hotel in the area.…
