In January 2020 I booked a villa at Beach Republic with a cost of £6000 GBP. I had to pay a 50% deposit of almost £3000 which I did. Beach Republic would only accept a bank transfer for the deposit (not a credit card payment) so I paid via bank transfer. Since then Beach Republic have claimed to be in administration and do not / will not respond to my emails or telephone calls requesting a refund or a rebooking date. they are now advertising themselves as open. I have stayed at the resort 3 times previously and whilst service and accommodation is generally good I have always had doubts about their financial integrity. With this in mind I would urge you not to pay any form of deposit when booking your holiday. Be very very careful.
Tried to stay here for a month, on first day was accused by manager of being too loud despite it being out neighbours playing the loud music, then accused my friends of being whores and telling me the place is not a whore house!?!!?, crazy unbelievable service, disappointing as the place was nice but the manager let the place down so bad I had to leave after first day
Stayed here for a month and it was nice! Large 2 bedroom condo with a nice garden view. Very well equipped, and staff is really friendly. Located a bit far from the main areas, but if you drive a car or a bike- that’s fine. Beach is nice when the weather is quiet, if not - there’s a lot of garbage. Overall- we loved our stay.
Booked a Penthouse suite with or son, and had our own pool on the top floor, it was fantastic. From the moment we arrived till the moment we left the staff were so helpful and friendly. Food was excellent, wines and beers great, the views amazing, Friday afternoon around the pools with a chill out DJ was just superb. Sunday brunch is also amazing. We used the small but well equipped gym and had a massage on the beach. Could not fault a thing, we all plan to go back! Thanks Beach Republic
Great big room. Awesome breakfast plenty of choices and right next to the beach. It has its own private beach. You can also get possibly the best Thai massage at the hotel. Friendly warm staff I was very happy with my stay there.
We booked a Tropical Villa, with a private pool. It was great! Pool was not just a plunge pool...could actually swim around. Rooms were comfy, bathrooms well equipped, good showers. We ate in the restaurant which had lovely Thai food. The spa was very nice, very helpful and friendly staff. Overall the staff were very friendly and helpful. Would stay here again.
We booked the biggest villa on the resort to accommodate our family, My husband and myself plus our Daughter, Son in Law and three grandchildren. We were excited to come to Beach Republic, as it cost so much money and we expected pure luxury for the price we paid for it. On first seeing the property, we thought how great it was but after settling in there were many problems. The water pressure was terrible in the baths and took two hours to run a decent bath, The showers were okay. The tap water in the kitchen just trickled out too. We bought dishwasher tablets to do the dishes in the dishwasher, but that didn't work. The pool had green mould all around the edges too. There are big gaps in all the internal doors, and some of the doors need locks at the top to stop infants and small children from being able to open the doors, especially as there is a pool that they could fall into and drown if it went unnoticed. The main gates to the property 116, can be pushed open even when locked, so there wasn't any point in locking it. Mimi has since explained to us that this particular property is going to be demolished this year. We just felt that we should have been told that the property was very tired and that the price should have reflected that. On the bright side, it is a lovely resort but could be upgraded by including some water sports, as its right on the beach, and maybe a childrens club, and some entertainment for the adults of an evening. The staff are the loveliest people and made us feel very special, and they all work so hard everyday. We did enjoy our holiday. but feel a little bit dissapointed that although we paid for luxury we didnt recieve it.…
Can't recommend this place enough, just stayed over Christmas for 6 day's and what an amazing time we had. Amazing spacious rooms and nice and quiet. Beautiful location with its own private beach, free transfers if you want yo go to the next beach which is a bit more lively. You can also walk along the coast to get there very easily. The restaurant is the nicest place I have eaten in Thailand and the staff were unbelievable, super lovely and can't do enough for you. They have a brunch on a Sunday which I would really reccommend. I will definatetly be coming back!! 10/10
Their Sunday brunch was really good a few years back but now the quality and variation is really poor. We spend 3500tbth per person for their new year buffet and we where so disappointed !! Such a shame because their location is good, staff are friendly, but last night was our last buffet at their place.
We absolutely loved our stay at Beach Republic. After a busy few months at work it was just what we needed! Total relaxation. Brilliant rooms - extremely spacious, clean and with everything that we needed. The staff were exceptional and I special mention to Zaw, who remembered our preferred sunbed and had it ready each day for after breakfast!! A credit to your team. The breakfast was excellent. A great selection and the cooked breakfast was very good quality. The private beach was lovely. On most days the water was clear (though, of course, this depends on the weather and tide!) The pool is a lovely area and we really enjoyed spending most of our days here - something we don’t usually do on holidays too much!! But it really was the perfect place to do so. We only hope we have time to come back one day and we recommend it to anyone!!…
