My husband and I stayed at Skopelitis Village in early September. What to say? A plunge into Greek hospitality. As soon as we arrived, the girl at the reception offered us biscuits and racomelo, and gave us valuable advices. We found her smile and her exquisite ways of eating every morning at breakfast. From the kitchen, which overlooks the buffet room, came the homemade cakes, directly on the trays: we counted, every morning, at least 5 or 6 different ones (chocolate, lemon, orange, with honey and cinnamon , and so on...). There are also small hot croissants, and, for savory lovers, other fresh products. The room, clean and quiet, overlooked a beautiful terrace, from which you could see Katapola. The strategic location, halfway between Katapola and Chora. For the atmosphere and the service offered, absolutely excellent !!…
We'd like to thank all the staff of Skopelitis for the relaxing 2 weeks we spent in this village. It's a small village, new buildings, with nice rooms overlooking the port of Katapola and the beautiful sunsets. The breakfast is served in a patio near the reception, the food is high quality and fresh, very good the cakes, the yogurt and the fresh fruit juices. The personnel is very kind and helps you for everything you may need, also gives you information about restaurants all over the island. Amorgos is a very beautiful, wild island, still visited by a low number of tourists, so for this reason is authentic. There are not so many beaches and some of them have sunbeds and umbrellas. The sea is crystal. Don't miss one day trip to Koufonissi island with Express Skopelitis. Hope to come back soon!…
I’ve been visiting Amorgos the last 5 years. Skopelitis village is perfectly located nearby the old town of Amorgos (Chora) with a nice view at katapola port. Very clean rooms, big sized (compared to the average rooms provided in this area of the island) & with a nice spacious balcony! Needless to say that the cost of the room was at 75€ during the high peak season, absolutely value for money!!! (compared to the average cost of the rooms in Amorgos). Extra credits for the nespresso machine inside the room!!! Last but not least: very comfortable bed & pillows!!!
Skopelitis Village was a great place to stay in Amorgos. It was central to both Chora and Katapola. The view from the room was gorgeous too! The best part of staying at the hotel was Spiros, the warm and welcoming host. He picked us up at the Aegiali port and went above and beyond to make sure we had a nice stay, even driving us to the beach and port, when there wasn't a bus available. On top of that, the included breakfast was spectacular! I highly recommend.
The hosts are amazing. Spiros and his wife are lovely, kind and helpful. The location is excellent. Middle of Amarogos and the view is fabulous! The breakfast is good and fresh! And the rooms are big clean and with balcony for enjoying your coffee with the view. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED
