Had been in novotel for 10 days,service staff working here are highly professional. Had a very pleasent stay with my co-workers. Restaurent staff and chef were very open to suggestions and was always willing to make changes. Special mention to the restaurent supervisor soumen who showed great commitment in guest management and ensuring satisfaction.
This is inform you that I am very happy with your service and facilities.This definitely added to excellent service of staff, especially Mr. Soumen in the food section and the food was hygienic. I hope to get the same quality of service when I return. Thank you very much for such outstanding service. Overall I happy stay and recommend this hotel.
Note : The hotel removed my review in google reviews so updating this here Me and my family had an very bad experience been in Novotel today 14-01-2022. I came to the restaurant to have a evening coffee but unfortunately my car got hit to a side wall of hotels fountain which was only the height of my cars tire .The person who was allocated to guide me park properly just told me to park it closely to the fountain but as me sitting inside the car didn’t see a portion of wall projecting out he told me park it closely and my cars tyre hit the edge of the wall and bursted out and my tires where flat . The person who guided ran away seeing it . Then no one from the staff bothered to come out to see or to help us . Then my wife had to go to the front desk to ask for an help so that someone could help . The most irritating part is the staff who didn’t even care what was happening. I rang the roadside assistance to check on my car . After like 15 mins I got to see the manager who I saw at lobby I told him what happened even I had to tell him it was so rude from his staff to not turn to check on me or my wife . He told me he would get back to me after checking the hotel cctv So we were at the restaurant then I called him up to see if he checked so he came down and told me and talked to us And he had apologised on the incident which seemed ok to us in the beginning. I even told him if it was a lady alone and this happened her and this how the staffs reacted to that lady or women it wouldn’t suit the hospitality business as a whole and that too a hotel chain like Novotel . Me and the manager came down to when the roadside assistant guy came to fix my car This time the whole tone changed and he was talking about the cctv and his staff just guided me right but he also confirmed that the same guy had made his mistake too But in cctv it was me who drove so it was me who was responsible and as I said the person who assisted me didn’t tell me to park closely to fountain the talks cannot be captured in cctv the whole scenario changed I told the manager to rewind a few seconds back to see him come to my car as I called him towards me to ask him where to park that he doesn’t want to see or not agreeing to saying the talks we cannot capture in cctv . Then he went back . My car didn’t run properly when I was trying to leave the hotel so it was to be towed out from hotel . During that time no hotel staff came to see what was the issue with my car a guest actually tried to help me see the issue seeing that a new hotel parking staff maybe night shift guy too joined . Then as I towed my vehicle out till that time this manger wasn’t available on the lobby or front end even when he said customer is considered important and I was here at the lobby area . When the car was vowed I went with my dad I saw this guy in the front desk as I left . He may say he was busy or what ever in the comments but as a customer I felt the all the talks he was saying was a manipulative apology. It’s a request for the hotel management that if any other customer and is facing an issue please make sure he or she is helped that’s why this is called a hospitality . We had a great stay in Novotel, Kochi. All the satff were extremely welcoming, hospitable and friendly especially Mr. Abhimanyu. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. This is a perfect hotel for weekend getaway. Overall we had an amzing experience. We would definitely recommend saty in Novotel, Kochi
