Please go for half board here. We don't drink so won't be able to tell about rates but all I can tell is that a 300ml Sprite cost us 100 Mauritian Rs (200INR) in this hotel. But don't let that stop you. There is a super market not too far of (Rs 60 Mau bus ride) where you can get drinks, water, groceries at a lot cheaper rates. For unplanned travel to local centres, plan trips via the local buses which are airy and safest. People are friendly, mostly.
