We stayed at the Radisson Blu Poste Lafayette from the 15th to the 22nd of December. We were a family group of 6 adults in three superior garden rooms. We were all on the all-inclusive package.

We were warmly welcomed by the reception staff and shown around the resort and to our rooms.

Meals at the buffet restaurant were good and varied, but we much preferred the Aqua 180 restaurant where many of the dishes were included in the all inclusive package and the food was exceptional. You just needed to make a booking 24 hours in advance for dinner. The hotel was also very good at catering for our gluten-free and vegetarian dietary requirements.

The drinks available on the all-inclusive package were extensive and were above average. Wine was South African and was offered by the glass on the package.

The entertainment was different each night at the Aqua 180 bar and we really enjoyed each evening.

There were always sufficient loungers on the beach. The beach had some coral on it but on the whole was nice. We really enjoyed the safe snorkelling area directly off the beach in front of the hotel.

The staff were exceptional! They made the holiday an amazing experience. All the staff were fantastic but we would like to highlight Ayesha as an absolute star! We still miss her! Other staff that also stood out whose names we could remember were Jonathon, Hansley, Akash and Arvind.

My son celebrated his birthday while we were there and the hotel went out of their way to ensure that he had an extra special day.

We took the public bus to the Flacq Market which was great fun.

We went across to Azuri to do some of the watersports there which was great, but we felt that the service and ambiance at Poste Layfayette was much better.

Thanks to the management and staff at Radisson Blu Poste Lafayette for a wonderful stay. We can highly recommend the resort.

Stayed full board for a week with my daughter from 24th November.
On arrival, you are offered iced tea, all Covid documents and passport inspected, lateral flow test given (free) hotel amenities explained ( there is no welcome book in the room)
As we arrived at 11.30 our room wasn’t ready, we used the complimentary shower room to freshen up, which was very welcome after flights lasting 16 hours.
Headed for the sun deck/pool, nice spacious area, usually quite easy to get a spot.
We got in our room at 3.00, decent size, with king size bed and smaller one.
There is the usual kettle and other facilities, including a fridge, water is replenished every day.
Bathroom was as good size with good shower.
Had a sea view, with a Juliet balcony, rooms are looking a bit tired, with a number of marks and scuffs evident.
Food was ok, decent variety on offer, not always as hot as I would like, but acceptable.
Waiting staff work exceptionally hard and would like to mention Henna, who was absolutely lovely, nothing too much trouble for her.
Hotel has its only taxi service, which was very handy and reasonably priced, drivers are lovely and very friendly, offering much information about the island.
The hotel is fairly isolated, no shops etc nearby.
There is a gift shop , however it only sells gifts, would have been useful if it sold some basic toiletries/snacks. My daughter needed something and I had a get a taxi to the supermarket, which was 20 minutes away and cost £27.00 return.
The customer service at the hotel is fabulous and the staff are so very helpful and friendly.
Didn’t watch the evening entertainment, but could hear it from our room, thankfully it ended at 11.00 each night.
Mauritius is a beautiful island and well worth a visit.

Wish you to thank whole Raddison blu team for their great welcome at their well esteemed resort which made our stay so adorable.
Firstly amazing view from reception to the pool facing the sea, its so woww

Check in facilities were so quick, served with their special iced tea
We were privilege to a seaview room which was very spacious,well organised, very cleaned.
Spa treatments was magnificent, we were amazed as the first time we experienced our own steam room,very privacy and unique
Gym facilities awesome
And same fo kids club, we dropped our kids with no hesitation and they were very happy
We enjoyed pool service,food quality was great for breakfast,lunch and dinner
Lots of selection according to the package
The cocktails were really well represented.

Overall i seized this opportunity to thank the whole team who made our stay unforgettable

Our stay at Radisson blu was wonderful and excellent. The Manager Mr Visham Kimkurrun was very very courteous, kind hearted, friendly, approachable with good communication n skills and have given us a warm hospitality. Others managers n supervisors such as Mr Vegen n others were also very very nice honorous, caring n have very gentlemen approach with good communication to immense clients closely to win our hearts and allocated us with best quality services.All the staffs were very kind open hearted with close acquainted proximity to clients n were swift in serving us. The foods were very tasty n excellent n there were many varieties of foods to delight us n drinks of all inclusive were a great privilege to consume in abundance to quench our relaxing desire. The rooms were spaceful, comfortable, n Seaview n sunlighting nature. The swimming pools overlooks the drifting sea of fauna n flaura. The night entertainment with DG was very expediting n amusing events. The waiters at the beach were very swift n speed in serving us warmly our amenities, We were grateful to the room service who made our room at a high cleaning standard. The parking was spacious enough to park our cars safely. The security guard were vigilant n well monitored persons entering n venturing throughout. The aquatics activities, kids club n spa were of utmost benefits n entertainment.

Check in process was slow. Staff were courteous and helpful. Booked a Superior Room for three persons on All Inclusive basis.Room was pretty nice and clean with a mini balcony with breathtaking views to the ocean. Best place for a wonderful sunrise! However, toiletries were not provided and upon check out reception informed us that due to COVID-19 pandemic the hotel is not providing these items and we should have brought our toiletries. Well the hotel should provide full information during the booking process to avoid any inconvenience. Luckily, we brought ours!
Food was okay but the choices were limited. Afternoon tea time cakes were not fresh and lack of varieties. Good cappuccino though.
Great beach and sea!Enjoyed kayaking so much!

Had a fantastic stay at the Radisson Blu Poste Lafayette. The hotel is a peaceful location on a beautiful quiet beach – we had truly relaxing holiday. The accommodation was excellent, and the food was great and varied. We had the all-inclusive package but that allowed us dine in the restaurant as well as the buffet and the majority of the restaurant choices were included. We also tried the spa facilities which were great and excellent way to end the holiday. The staff at the hotel were an absolute asset and made the stay particularly memorable. Everyone we encountered was helpful and professional but I would like to make a special mention to Vedna, Hansley and Sunil. Many thanks for a wonderful holiday – we will be back.

Just returned from an 11 night All Inclusive package at this hotel and sadly left feeling a little underwhelmed. Having previously stayed in Caribbean AI resorts we had high hopes for a similar experience with the dining but this was sadly not the case. The buffet restaurant was quite repetitive in choice and the quality of the dishes available was not the highest. The other restaurant on site had the same choice menu every night and there were some surcharges for some options, again, something that we weren’t expecting. Breakfasts were probably the best dining with some nice cooked options available.
The room was OK with a nice sea viewbut it needed some maintenance….. tiles in shower, exposed timbers around door and stains on the shower floor were some obvious issues together with some not so clean towels on some days.
However… staff tried hard to please and worked very hard. Shivam in the buffet restaurant was an exceptional staff member and looked after us by delivering ice cream to us to accompany some rather dry desert options.
Evening entertainment were mainly singers, and although OK it would be good to source something different a few nights a week.
This a nicely laid out resort with pool, bar, beach and rooms all close and the gardens are well kept. However, I think the small size of the hotel has obvious ramifications for the dining options which is a shame.
The beach needed a litter pick and wouldn’t take long to sort together with a seaweed trawl to make it pristine.
Stray dogs on site was a divided issue among guests but they should not be around dining areas.
We had a nice candlelight dinner one night and the food was nicely prepared for that.
The gym was fine and had enough for an average gym goer….
Overall we had a relaxing nice time at the hotel and the weather was perfect during our stay.

This chain of hotels, whether it's the Radisson Blu Azuri or the Poste La Fayette resorts, the staff is extremely accommodating. Shout out to Dikshika, Akshay, Rahul, Vegen, and others who were working on the 10th and 11th of Jan 2020.

The room we got is a standard room so it is actually situated opposite the main hotel. It is slightly inconvenient as the road is a public one but the road and path to and from the main amenities is quite well lit. The room itself was very clean and modern. Bed was very comfy and view was quite nice- lots of greenery and nice sunset view. A big perk for us was that it was adults only so the pool (they only have 1 main one) was quite usable. The lounge chairs near the pool are taken quite quickly unlike the ones on the beach so be aware of that. In terms of facilities, they have a gym with some basic equipment, aquagym sessions and other activities like snorkeling and fishing in the lagoon that you have to reserve in advance. Another perk is that you get a free shuttle to go to Radisson Blu Azuri. Our driver Zaheed recommended that we go book a boat ride to a sea platform that would allow us to swim in the lagoon. It was totally worth it. When we got into the sea the first time, we could not stand properly in the water so the guys made us climb back on the platform and found us a place where we could comfortably stand and swim in the water. It was a one of a kind experience. We also took advantage of the sauna and hammam at Azuri before heading back to Poste La Fayette. Shout out to Mr Ved from Azuri who was extremely accommodating.

We were on an all inclusive package and the food and drinks were of decent quality. They have a themed dinner buffet every night. We ate quite well and food was quite tasty. Highly recommended

Our holiday here has a couple of days to go but after nearly two weeks here we don't want to leave (which is lucky really as we have a days delay at least coming as a cyclone comes in!)

Small compact resort in a beautiful location. Narrow beach and 'lively' sea not for the faint hearted at this time of year but imagine it far calmer at other times of the year.

Staff are attentive, friendly and 'beyond the call of duty' helpful! Nothing is too much trouble. They really make the holiday. Be polite! We heard rudeness to them and it made us very angry!

Pool is lovely, warm, safe, clean. Unique with its blue patterned bottom.

Gardens kept beautifully. Housekeeping very good. Some housekeepers were better than others with replacing things like glasses, tea, coffee, milk, cokes .... but you just ask and you instantly get! Never moan just call reception and it's there in minutes!

Food beautiful. Great presentation. Open all hours. Stunning evening meals in the Al la Carte. Buffet could maybe add chips/fries to the choice occasionally rather than always just pasta and rice, but hey that's a tiny thing!

We visited the bigger sister hotel 3 times but always preferred ours. It's like a big happy family here. Perfect for couples.

Our only negative was the rooms facing the beach (and most others too) only have French balconies... so you don't have a proper balcony. Patio doors that slide open but immediately a railing.
The few with proper balconies had far inferior views to the ocean view rooms and were much smaller as the balcony came back into the room reducing space considerably so we decided not to swap but even then reception staff were so helpful and accommodating to my suprise on arrival, and requests to see other rooms. We got used to it although I'd not want it again personally and would be the ONLY reason I'd not return.

For every single other reason we absolutely loved it and would recommend it hugely!

My husband and I have just returned from a 7 night stay here and I just wanted to thank the team there for spoiling us so much! The hotel is lovely, I'd really recommend a sea view room and also visiting the Azuri sister resort for the day. The hotels private beach is great, though quite small and intimate, so if you like to walk long distances the sister resort may be more your scene.

Particular thanks to Diane and Shanil for organising such fun activities we really enjoyed the bike rides and market visit. I'd also like to thank Sunil in the restaurant and the chefs, I have a severe gluten and dairy allergy and they were so happy to accommodate this. Thank you and hopefully we won't have rain if we return to Mauritius again!

Firstly i would not book any trips beforehand. The taxi company that works from the hotel run trips at half the price of the tour operators and they are fantastic. Just outside the hotel entrance is a sign with a list of trips they do but if you want anything special they can sort that too. I would recommend the speedboat trip to the Isle aux cerfs and the river waterfall. Beautiful day out with an exciting speedboat ride. You'll get nice pics at the waterfall and bring some bananas to feed the monkeys that come down to the boat for them. Enjoy a few hours on the island with shallow calm water to swim in or take a walk and see the golf course or the nature. You will get a basic bbq lunch along with soft drinks or the local brands of rum. Then a full throttle run back to the pickup in the speedboat. A great day out organised by the taxi guys at the hotel.
