The hotel is superb. Our room was very modern and clean. Nice design. The food was great, staff was really kind. The spa area is one of the nicest I’ve ever seen. Serene with great views and an extremely relaxing ambient. The proximity to the ski slopes is amazing. If you need to go elsewhere they offer free rides, just call their driver. Will definitely come back.

We came a group of cyclists for a week stay for cycling in the Dolomite area. Nice, clean rooms, perfect view, extremely good, personal and pleasant service, good breakfast and good dinner. Nice sauna and relax area. I spent a nice week with my daughter at this hotel in 2016, came back with friends now, and very satisfied again. Can fully recommend this.

One of the best values for money one can find in Europe. Garni Delta is a friendly, family run hotel ideally situated in the heart of the Dolomite region of northern Italy. The staff is friendly and courteous, the rooms comfortable with incredible views, and the hotel is a mere few steps from ski slopes and the Sella Ronda circuit.
We stayed here in December 2006, and although the general condition of most ski areas in Europe were suffering because of lack of snow, we were rewarded with great skiing thanks to a pre-Christmas gift from mother nature, as well as plenty of artificial snow and first-rate slope manicuring. I will definitely be back.

We spent 25 days in Italy. The Garni Delta was the best value for money we found (very good and cheap). The room is big, the hotel is new and quiet. The views of the montains are superb. The staff is excelent: a family runs the hotel, very helpful and friendly. They speak english, german and italian.

Besides, the region is nice, with good foods and wines. A car is necessary.

We can’t say enough nice things about this charming, neat as a pin B&B, but we’ll try. Our room (a superior facing east) is the best designed we’ve stayed in. There is an abundance of cabinet storage, super comfortable beds, a large window and glass door leading onto a balcony with stunning views, a circular work table, and fast internet free of charge. The breakfast was perfect, with local pastries, marmelades, fruit, cheeses, meats rotating in and out according to the season. You can enjoy breakfast on the patio or inside next to a large warm ceramic stove. The owners are super nice: Ricardo, Manuela, and Stefano Afreider. They helped us in every conceivable way with maps, trekking advice, afternoon hot chocolate, and friendly chit chat. The hotel Garni Delta is located just above the village of Colfosco, near Corvara in the Val Badia (also called South Tyrol). This valley, in the southern part of the Val Badia, is higher in altitude (1700 meters) and so is also referred to as Alta Badia. Garni Delta's location commands an incredible view. You can sit there all day just watching the weather change against the backdrop of mountains. Garni Delta opened June 1st this year which is still early in the summer season. Many hotels and B&Bs only start opening in mid to late June. We found their rates very reasonable. The weather for us was variable shifting throughout the day, making for spectacular, and uncrowded hiking. We stayed for 11 days, originally planning only 5. We just couldn't leave!

By the way, “garni” is the German word for a bed and breakfast hotel. You’ll see this word quite a bit travelling around the Val Badia.

I had the pleasure of staying at the Garni Delta for one week in July 2007. The place is immaculate, the rooms are big and the views are wonderful. The daily breakfast was the biggest we had in the whole month we stayed in Italy. It consisted of cerial, fruits, yogurts, cakes, strudel, salami, cheese, croissants and roles. You had a choice of juices, different types of coffee and if you want ted they even served you eggs - THis was the only place in ITaly who gave us eggs.
The owners are wonderful people who answered all our questions, gave us free internet access and served us generous drinks in their little bar.
Everyone was courteous and friendly.
I would stay at this place anytime and recommended it to all.

An wonderful family run B&B with stunning views over the spectacular Alta Badia; by far the best corner of the Dolomites. Amazing hospitality made us feel like we were staying with friends. Spotlessly clean, well appointment rooms offering exceptional value. Intimate local restaurants and stores located nearby offering superb local products made it all very difficult to leave. Meraviglioso !

My wife and I stayed at this beautiful garni for 3 nights and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The views from the rooms are exceptional - we couldn't have hoped for a better location. The breakfast was excellent, with a large selection of continental items, all DELICIOUS. The owners are most accommodating and we would not hesitate to stay again

I found this place on the internet, I liked the location but never expected such a magnificent place. The rooms were very spacious and look like brand new, they were very clean and comfortable. The panoramic view from the hotel was breathtaking and the hotel was a short walking distance from the town.
Breakfast buffet was extensive and everything was fresh and the service was very attentive. We had Ivanka taking care of the breakfast and dinner (small menu) and she was very attentive and helpful, really offered great service.
Great place, I will go back in the future

We stayed at the Garni Delta one night during our three-day trek of the Alta Via 2 and couldn't have been more pleased. Although we'd been thru-hiking and arrived at the hotel very late (and dirty and hungry) the kitchen stayed open for us well beyond their normal hours and we were made to feel welcome the entire time. The room was a treat too -- a scandinavian-style treatment and with very modern fixtures - besides being very quiet and comfortable. Breakfast (which we were on time for..) was very good and plentiful, and afterwards the owner went to great lengths to advise us on the condition of the trails we were considering taking to Piciadu, even by calling the hutte and asking them for a trail status. We were also happy to have met and spoken with Ivanna (sp?), from whom we gained further insight into the region we were passing through, and an even greater appreciation of the hotel we were pleased to be staying in. As the reader has probably figured out by now, we highly recommend this hotel.
