Visited for a week skiing in January.

Absolutely loved this hotel and the ski area.

Axel and his family were so welcoming and looked after us very well, can’t say enough about how fab the staff are.

Food was amazing, 6 courses! Best salad bar I have ever seen, pasta buffet, cheese to die for, desserts to die for just.

The bar area is great really relaxed with either seating at the bar or tables dotted around the bar. Excellent selection of drinks.

The wine cellar on site is awesome with some excellent eel known and local wines. I must thank Axel and Alberto for introducing me to some very good local wines, I’ve already ordered some 😂😂😂

Spa was excellent both a clothed and naked area. I sampled the hot stones massage which was fantastic.

The location of the hotel was good only 1 minute from the slopes which is accessed by a courtesy bus, there are 2 busses (brown and grey) the brown takes you to the slopes and picks you up from 3 pm daily and the grey bus will take you into Colfosco and also pick you up, you just have to call them.

The room is great with everything you need including robes, slippers, mini bar, good bathroom amenities.

I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this hotel and plan on returning both in the summer to do the amazing walks and climbs and also next winter.

One if not the best of the places I have ever visited in my entire life. View facing the Sellaronda group is breathtaking. Location is unbeatable by any possible mean. Dagmar and Axel give you the best possible service. Staff is amazing and courteous. The room we stayed in ( premium sella) is absolutely amazing. Every night before bed the staff basically tuck you in bed with a night check of the room while you are at the restaurant. Parking is easy and always available. Spa area in front of the Sellaronda is perfect. We enjoyed everything. We called the reception quite a few times and they always found a solution. The spa manager Elena even fixed my nails at 8pm on a Sunday. The laundry is the best, quick and efficient. Anna and Orazio gave us the best possible service and made us feel home. I would recommend 10/10 and I would definitely come back ASAP. Thanks again.

This is a superb family run hotel with excellent staff who are well trained friendly and helpful . We arrived later than planned due to a flight delay . The receptionist greeted us and showed us straight to our dinner table with the restaurant staying open later to accommodate us .After a delicious meal we were shown to our room where bags had been delivered and skis had been put into our ski locker .
Nothing seems too much trouble and our restaurant waiter for the week ( Nadil) was excellent. The food was varied, imaginative and themed on various nights . Anton ( family member ) runs the restaurant like clockwork and his wine recommendation was much appreciated.
We too had a late booking older room but the bathroom was newly renovated and the balcony view was stunning . Housekeeping was five star service .
The general workmanship on this hotel is most impressive with reception , bar , lounges, library, spa , pool areas , wine cellar , boot room all spacious, clean and well furnished and decorated with great style. In fact the reality is better than some of the photos !
This hotel really has the WOW factor with its location , views and features like the sunset roof infinity pool .
The ski shuttle bus is most effecient - it’s only a couple of minutes to the piste and the drivers never keep you waiting .
We enjoyed our stay and would recommend it highly . In fact after more than 40 years staying in Alpine hotels I would rate this hotel as the best I’ve stayed in .

Fantastic hotel, great location, newly modernised, nice spa. Also very short distance from parking lot to the room. The hotel is built in wood and smells wonderfully of wood. The wood also gives a nice ambience to the rooms. We were unlucky and got a not so private room, so we had to keep curtains shut all the time, no roof over the terrace so chairs were wet and view led straight to parked cars and hotel garbage containers, not so nice when you spend 2.000 euros and drive from Berlin.

This hotel has provided us with one of our best ever skiing holidays - and after 25 years, this isn’t an easy statement to make. They manage to perfectly pitch a vibe of luxury and charm without it feeling pompous or uptight. Nothing is too much and the staff satisfied our few requests with alacrity and accuracy. They listen, they are kind, they are thoughtful and they are competent. The food is just incredible and far far exceeded our expectations. It was just perfect and the restaurant were willing to make all kinds of adjustments to the fussiest of eaters. We were impressed with the fitness and relaxation amenities and the massage I had at the spa was lovely. The room (we stayed in the new wing) was a comfortable and functional suite and I would stay there again (room 126).

As we left the premises to return to London I found myself thinking for the first time ever that I will definitely rebook here if I get the opportunity to ski again. I have never thought that about any ski hotel before. I can’t believe that after 25 years of trying to find a ski hotel that I feel comfortable and happy with, that I have finally found THE ONE. Well done Kolfuscherhof. You are outstanding

Every single thing about this hotel is well done. When you walk in, you feel like you have stepped into Dolomite heaven. The owners have impeccable taste and everything is done with great attention to detail. Even the faucets and shower knobs are beautiful as are their towels. I even loved their blueberry scented shampoo and shower gels. Our room had its own sauna and jacuzzi (the jacuzzi had a bit too much chlorine for our taste). The views were breathtaking.

We enjoyed the outdoor heated pool, billiards table downstairs and many amazing dinners. The half board here is really something special and the food is delicious.

This hotel is a family-owned small business that didn’t spare any expense to make this place super comfortable and to cater to every need of its guests. Just the new addition of outdoor pool, a gym, a sauna, a rooftop is cutting-edge cool. The view is amazing from any room. In addition to that the restaurant’s morning and dinner buffer and a la carte menus are extremely delicious. There are tons of amazing hikes for all levels every where. We already made plans to return next summer. We wanted to say special thanks to Consuelo, Natalie, Mila, Alina and Veronika for making our stay super comfortable.

We have been coming to the Kolfuschgerhof with our family for 10 years now. We were unable to visit for the last 2 years due to Covid however last week we made it back for 9 nights. We couldn't believe it when we arrived, our favourite hotel was even better. Over the covid period the hotel underwent extensive renovations and an entire new building complete with gym, outdoor pool, stunning reception and huge bedrooms was created. It was like eating your favourite ice cream with new toppings!

Although luxurious the hotel is not stuffy and is very family friendly. The staff, particularly Dagmar and Axel who are the owners are extremely helpful and always bend over backwards to help. A big big big thank you to the amazing Sasha who is the head waiter - he remembers everything about every family from preferences to intolerances and again tries his absolute best to ensure everything is accommodated - he truly is part of the soul of this hotel.

We love Kolfuschgerhof and have already requested rooms for next year.

We ended up in the this resort by coincidence as we found it very hard to understand where to stay in big dolomites and it turned out to be perfect. From the moment we stepped foot Dagmar took care of us like family, we stayed in a beautiful family suite, the view was beautiful directly on the mountains. The location and hotel are just incredible, perfect location, view, the spas outdoor and indoor are just extremely dreamy, peaceful and relaxing. The food wS extremely good we took the half board as we were doing activities during the day. The best resort in dolomites with beautiful memories and thank you Dagmar and team for your amazing hospitality.

We booked this family run hotel through Alpine Answers and it has delivered the best ski holiday experience in over 40 years. The perfect quiet location in Colfosco, it is on the Sellaronda route with easy access to the Marmalada and Hidden Valley experience in the Italian Dolomites. The hotel shuttle bus delivers us to the slopes in a few minutes and the ski hire shop collects the skis on the last evening. The après-ski outdoor Spa has a stunning mountain backdrop and the pool is just big enough for laps. Breakfast and evening buffets are sumptuous and delicious. Loyal and hardworking staff try very hard to ensure you enjoy your stay including the effervescent efficient Sasha. I would award this hotel a full five stars and can’t wait to return next year.
