A fantastic stay at this family run hotel. The property is clean and comfortable and the service fantastic. It was a great base for our ski holiday with the property being located on the side of the slopes in Colfosco and so both ski in and ski out. We were on half board and the food was really good and plentiful with the team offering us second helpings on most courses! The hotel was spotlessly clean. I would definitely go back and that is the best recommendation I can give.

After doing self catered holidays over the past few years it was a real treat to go half board and it was not just the meals that were special. Breakfast buffet with eggs on request, and a 5 course evening meal with seconds helpings! And vegetarian options.

Sizeable rooms with loads of wardrobe and cupboard space and hangers - what a bonus for skiers. Plus it’s possible to ski in and out from just a couple of meters from the heated skiraum downstairs.

Two small Finnish saunas, steam room and gym help soothe aching muscles.

Fabulous views of the valley, its skiers and ice climbers going up ‘the sword of Damocles’ frozen waterfall opposite.

We ate here once during our most recent visit, but we have had dinner here a few times during previous visits to Colfosco. The restaurant is fairly large with comfortable seating and roomy tables. We had a primo each (from the daily selection), which was very good. We then shared a main dish which was more than enough following the primos. There is also a large and varied help-yourself salad buffet which is quite inexpensive (€5,-). The wine selection is good, but a little pricey by Italian standards. Nevertheless, overall the price for dinner for two was fair. The service is very good and friendly. Definitely recommend it.

Great hotel and apartments. Very well located. Ski in-ski out. A very hard working family runs this hotel. We have been to this hotel several times. But all our good impressions were ruined this year. We made a pre-reservation for the beginning of December 2023 when checking out from the hotel in March 2023. But when I asked to confirm the reservation in September, I received the following answer: “Dear Mr. Sokolov,
we inform you that our housemaids complained very much how you leave the apartments at your departure so we can’t reserve you the rooms.
Best regards Fam. Pescosta Ferrari"
This unsubstantiated accusation greatly upset us. I wrote back: "Dear Fam. Pescosta Ferrari, Dear Andrea.
Thanks for your reply. We are very surprised that we left the room in poor condition. We are very careful people and I think you've got something mixed up. Moreover, we have stayed with you more than once. We travel a lot and I always take care of the condition of the apartment myself.
It's a pity that you didn't send us photos from our rooms 406-407 immediately after our departure. I ask you to double-check with the cleaning lady. This is a mistake. I have the same business and I monitor orders very carefully. And I know how unpleasant it is for a property owner when guests leave a big mess. It is very unpleasant and unexpected for me to receive your letter with such claims. I'm sure this is a mistake."
But I didn't receive an answer. Then I asked my Italian relative, who was with us, to call the hotel. And it turned out that other people sent a request for more days, and they decided to refuse us in such an original way, accusing us of being unscrupulous! If the hotel had said honestly that they have other clients who are more profitable than us, then I would understand. Business is business. Money rules the world! Human relationships are no longer popular!

Close to the slopes but Mediocre ... good breakfast but not dinner ... among other things, breakfast opens late so you also waste time in the early morning before going skiing ... the sauna is small and immediately becomes full ... there is definitely much better

Very clean hotel. Family run. Very kind and helpful owners. Relaxing atmosphere everywhere, even in the dining room. Very beautiful spa, large relaxation spaces. Beautiful, large suite room with a huge terrace overlooking the mountains😍. Excellent food, very well cooked, tasty. Delicious breakfast with homemade desserts, croissants, loose jams (many flavors), you can also have freshly cooked eggs. Excellent mattress, very comfortable bed and finally windows with 100% blackout roller shutters, even with an electric button. Beautiful outdoor space with well-kept grass, swing and deckchairs for sunbathing. Guaranteed parking space. Convenient market in front 👍🏼. The only advice I can give: one more person in the room both during breakfast and dinner. Impeccable service but a little slow. For the rest I recommend it and I hope to be able to return soon. 💓

Family run, excellent cuisine typical of the area. Perfect location towards Puez and Sella. Very friendly staff and always ready for advice. The hotel is among the most famous and historic in Colfosco, in its third generation. There is both a hotel and apartments, a solarium and a SPA
