I booked in for one week and initial arrival seemed good, Manager showed me the room and said “all new and refurbed” I asked him how to operate the safe and he said “do not use, you can’t open it keeps locking”. When he left I checked over the room, one very thin pillow on each bed, open the wardrobe to find 3 shabby hangers no more. I went to ask him for some more hangers and and pillows and he marched into my room and started opening all the drawers and cupboards insisting I couldn’t find them. I asked for the ironing board and he said “I don’t know somebody took it. In looking at the room I realised all the mos matched crockery some chipped and cracked and no teaspoons either. I went to the toilet and it didn’t flush. I went to see the manager and he said “all the toilets are the same here” you have to take cistern lid off and put your hand in the toilet cistern to manually flush it!!! I had so many problems I’ll list, clothes dryer was broken with wires sticking out, after a major fuss bout not being able to keep my passport and wallet safe the next day he miraculously appeared with a safe key that was useless as the safe required batteries and he produce the wrong ones which he left in my room. There was no plug in the sink to wash the dishes again I asked him and he suggested we had taken the plug and also that I had damaged the toilet myself. (Look at previous review obviously an ongoing issue ). Going to the pool the life saving ring supposed to be tied up was being played with by kids in the pool, the so called jacuzzi was a stagnant pool full of insects with the filter floating around an accident waiting to happen. I didn’t even go near the gym as it looked like another accident waiting to happen, no supervision and kids running around. There was ongoing building work too, looked like she’d going up. By this point I wanted to leave as I stated one night and it was really spoiling my holiday. The manager himself is rude, arrogant and a liar, who seems to blame all HIS problems on his cleaning lady or guests, be aware I’m guessing a lot of the reviews are fake and I am certainly not out to make problems for him as he kept saying to me as he makes a good job of causing all these problems himself. I just had an amazing week in Summer Dreams and it was 100 % and my review said so. After hours of phone calls to booking center he finally answered the call from them and after insisting he would only pay half my money back we managed to get him to pay 5 nights back with lots of protesting from him. I am now staying in random places night by night but to be honest I’d rather sleep on my car than spend another night at Golden Sun. He needs to learn some managerial, people skills and help with hospitality.…

We stayed at this villa and honestly do not recommend it. Very bad conditions... the toilet didn't work, cockroaches in the room and the walls were very dirty... it has nothing to do with the pictures on the booking He calls the bungalow...some wooden houses for storing wood...embarrassing ..Deplorable cleaning Worst chiose He calls his friends to give these good reviews

Compared to the pictures on booking, the rooms are not taken care of, all the furniture is degraded and very worn. The bathroom is extremely small( in the morning there was no hot water at all ). The cleaning in the room is very superficial ,every day I found ants and spiders in the room. The bungalows are actually embarrassing cabins far from the villa, in front you have a fence 1 meter from the entrance and poisons for snakes are placed next to the door.

Me and my friends have had an amazing time in Greece! Golden Sun Villas was lovely. The people were very kind and we enjoyed the swimming pool and the jacuzzi a lot :) Every day the apartment was cleaned and the trash was thrown away, which was really great! The location of the hotel was just perfect. It takes only 1,5 km to go to Nydri (and the sea), which is quite doable by foot. We rented two scooters, which made it even easier to visit the little city. We highly recommend renting scooters, especially because you are able to discover all beautiful places around the whole island. Besides, the roads through the mountains and along the coasts are gorgeous, exciting and really fun as well :)

A very cozy and lovely place in an excellent location. Parking is offered along with a swimming pool and jacuzzi and a chapel. Nektarios was the most polite person out of the 10 people I called on that specific day in Lefkada. We left from another apartment because the people there tried to exploit us. We called Nektarios and he immediately offered us a place to stay since we couldn't find anything at all. Politeness in the hospitality section is very rare. Strongly recommend this place. Keep up the good work!

Great location and nearly new appartments. Super friendly staff and plenty of parking space. The appartment is cleaned daily to a very high standard. This was my second visit and not the last one. The pool area is a great chill out and also well maintained and clean. Great value for money all together.

We visited your appartements in September and we have to say only good things about everything.. First of all it’s located in a good area.. The Golden sun villas is by far on of the best places we have ever been . Our room was always clean .. special thanks to Loukia and miss Maria..!! We enjoy the swimming pool and the special space for jacuzzi .. we want to thank Nektarios because despite the fact that he is a great owner who was always willing to help us and propose where to go , he is a good person. Defently we will be back !!! We recommend it

We had made our reservation 3 months prior to our visit ( with 50% deposit) - for 3 families with kids . .One week prior to our visit we called the owner for confirmation ... all good !!! But two days prior to our arrival we received a phone call that there are no availabilities !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Apparently the owner has double booked the rooms - all of them - something that as he said is typical to be made in order to make sure that the hotel has no vacancies ....... We demanded that he should look for other accommodation at a hotel with facilities similar to Golden Sun .... He found us and suggested three rooms in three different hotels with extremely low standards!!! After numerous phone calls back and forward we managed to get our deposit back with no further reservation from their behalf !!!!! Therefore as you understand my suggestion to you dear travelers is STAY AWAY !!! This is by far the most unprofessional behavior that I have ever come accross ... and I have travelled a lot !!!!!!!…

Where to begin, and not leave anything out. The hotel is 4 minutes from one of the parking lots at the beginning of the pedestrian zone (the main street in Nidri is closed between 7pm and 2am daily). The rooms are spacious and clean (we had the superior studio for two adults and two kids). The owner is super friendly and attentive, always ready to help. The hotel is in the middle of an olive garden, with a wonderful pool and jacuzzi. Would recommend!!!

Golden Sun Villas is the most beautiful apartment hotel in island Hospitality is amazing The owner coming and help us in everything for us holidays in Lefkada and Nidri Jacuzzi spa and swimming pool are so beautiful Is 1 kilometre of the nidri center and has the most beautiful view in island Scorpios Dmitry Rybolovlev private island who takes from Aristotelis Onassis
